Like the Title says. Started up XP11 this evening, no sound out of the program. I've checked the settings and sound is working fine elsewhere. No clue what to try next. Any thoughts?

I have eight tiles capturing Guadeloupe, Dominica, St. Vincent, and Martinique, in the Carib. I'm tiling at z19 for all of them, since the area is relatively 'small' in only 8 tiles for the whole shebang. I will be cruising around those islands as soon as the compiling and generation is done. I am most curious to see what they will look like from the air at around 2,200 feet ASL, at z19 for the whole rendering. In a way, for all the time it takes to generate, it is really too bad, that we as Ortho creation enthusiasts, can not upload and share all our files. What a fantastic library that would be! Is there a way to make the red light on antennas to light solid red and not blinking?

I just have a general question... I select a STAR Or approach and activate it. When on the final approach, is there away to transition on final so it tracks the Localizer (LOC) and Glide Slope (GS) (via APR)? I know you can click the CDI to set the GPS to VLOC. Typically, when you get vectors from ATC, you get setup on a 30' intercept, and then can select APR on the auto pilot tracks LOC and GS.. I was just wondering what the Garmin procedure is for approaches and if there is away to transition as described above. I don't believe the STAR / approach takes altitude into consideration, I could be incorrect. Ideas and thoughts? THANKS!

The wife has been sliding food under the closed door... I had a bumpy start, with Ortho4XP not working on my system (was not the program's fault, but my lack of Python Engine knowledge (had v2.7 as global, and was not compatible with this version of Ortho4XP v1.20b), but once I caught the groove, there has been no turning back! Wow...does time invested pay off... I spent the last two hours, completely auditing my Custom Scenery Folder...exactly what do I have stuffed in there, pre and post my total commitment to Ortho4XP'izing XP11. I started deleting, and rearranging the .ini order hierarchy. I did Cape Breton Island (Nova Scotia, Canada) in total, at z17/z19 and before I cleaned house, and reordered the .ini file zzz's, libraries, possible interference downloads...I would get at my same baked-in XP11 sim settings, around 28-33 FPS, pretty constant. You just generated a tile for area x/y. Wanna fly to all the airports and visit them, touch 'n go's? Ok, this one drives me nuts - especially in VR when trying to tune dials with the mouse wheel and inadvertently zooming in. How can I disable mouse wheel zoom? This seems to be an issue that has been around for years.

Hey everyone, I've been flying XP10 and 11 for a few months now. My specs are in my signature. I am running the plugin called XP11 Settings Tool so that I can take out things I dont care about like car traffic for better performance. I get great FPS in XP especially with the plugin, which cuts my CPU and GPU times about in half as opposed to normal settings just based on the XP sliders. But my CPU time spikes every few seconds which I have read is related to loading scenery. It will rest around .12 +/- a couple hundredths, but as soon as I move like on a takeoff roll, it will jump up regularly about .05-.06 roughly and causes a noticeable stutter. This happens in all…

Hello all, I installed the XP11 demo today and the sim goes black screen whan at full screen. No issues with windowed mode. Anyone have any ideas why this might happening? I am trying to create my home airport - KVYS - in WED. So far so good. Tedious process but a lot of fun. Things are lining up nicely and I know the end is close at hand. However, my dilemma is AI traffic. KVYS is a non-towered airport and I know i need to create a "tower" which I have done. I have also placed all the required taxi routes and the validation was accepted. However, I get NO AI traffic. So my questions: 1. Does XP 11 always create AI traffic? 2. Does X-Life interfere with AI traffic coded in XP 11? 3. Do I need to be patient and wait more than 15 minutes for AI traffic to appear? I have followed two great series on You-Tube and learned a …

With the pmdg dc6 there is an issue with bmep and manifold pressure in xp11. When switching to the high blower setting as manifold pressure increases but bmep does not. In xp 10 bmep increases with mp. Does anyone know what changed in v11 to cause this behavior? Is there anything in planemaker that I can do to fix the behavior?

Hi. I'm curious if XP11 will run well on a single 980Ti. A 3770K @ 4.4GHz. is feeding the GPU. Thanks for any comments on this combination. Jeff Smith

So I've tried some of the other planes and the autopilots seem to all work, but not the cirrus? Or am I just doing something wrong?
