X-Craft JUST released the new 2.1 of their e-Series jets. If you already bought these planes off the ORG just sign in to your ORG store account and re-download them. A lot of big fixes but the biggest one I am happy with is the auto-throttle no longer going bonkers like the Devil himself is trying to murder you! These are both fun aircraft to fly!

On, Off or Auto ?

Hi Is it as simple as just copying and pasting the x-plane root folder to new folder on 2nd hard drive or is it more involved. Trying to avoid having to create a whole clone which can cause problems thx Lee

I purchased the Boeing 757v2 a month ago. I loved it. It looks and sounds amazing! I purchased the 777 Worldliner Extended last weekend. The visuals are amazing on Xplane 11. My issue is the sound. The engines are almost inaudible in the cabin. Even when I turn the engine volume in the primitive menu up and the other two volume options down. Also I was under the impression there would be multiple engine (GE, PW, RR) sounds to choose from on these. All of mine sound identical. Is there a fix to get the volume up and the audio close to on par with the 757? Thanks in advance for any input.

New to x planes 11 and just wondering what is the best for AI - 2 I have heard about are x-life and world of traffic? - really looking for something with minimum setup on the main airports - so which is the best?

Been flying the 737 a bit and pretty much enjoying the sim now that I've got some of the camera views and haze under better control. But more and more I'm noticing that the speed brakes/spoilers are largely ineffective. Now .... I'm by no means a real life 737 driver, but in biz jet cockpits I've had the good fortune to ride in, the spoilers are quite effective. I deliberately fired up fsx as a comparison and they are much more effective than in xplane. My other "issue" is where to set the correct barometric pressure when using real weather? And....the altimeter autopilot selection knob seems to take forever indexing to a higher or lower setting. Is the real airc…

Rotate have just announced the development of their MD-11! Their first offering, the MD-88, was a bit disappointing when it was first released, but after its recent patch it has really turned out to be a solid, detailed, and fun plane to fly. This proves that Rotate know what they're doing and will hopefully be able to turn out an equally impressive rendition of the 11. I downloaded this version of Reshade: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/36509-reshade-version-304-xp11/ I like how easy it is to change how the sim looks, but XP 11 does NOT exit properly. Does anyone know if there's a fix for the exit problem? Is it safe to use even if XP 11 doesn't exit properly? I don't want to break a working sim. Thanks! Jose

Just wondering if there is any fixes for this night light popping yet? It's been awhile since I've tried searching and wondering if you crafty folks figured something out.

As I finish off a run of new tiles, I have a supposition to the members, I wonder what the 'filter effect' would be, on a z17,z18, or a top of the line, z19 Ortho Tile, when you have the XP11 Texture Quality Slider at anything less than either Max, or Max (uncompressed)? I would imagine that there would have to be a dumming down of the full clarity output of those tiles, if you have 'cut back ' the rendering of textures, with the use of the slider, at less than Max. Also, I wonder if the Number of World Objects, only affects the elements displayed in the Overlay of that tile? I do run my Texture Quality slider at Max, one below Max (un-compressed) so …

Apparently the recording of the recent live interview to Austin Meyer on Facebook got lost, so it will not be available. However, a guy named Joe Speed who watched the live interview, shared some info in the comments. Notam: If you have downloaded and converted .jpg sat files from 'x' source...and even when it has fully completed the download and tile conversion, and yet...when you try to load from that tile, or from a tile 1 to 3 tiles over from 'that' tile, and you get a error window from XP11, that it can't load/find texture 12345_3212.dds, and yet...you have re-cut that tile five ways to sunday, and every time, it has a good, all files converted message from Ortho4XP...and STILL, loading into that tile, or adjacent to that tile, STILL brings up the message that XP11 can not FIND/LOAD a texture, or textures..and then CTD, or doesn't...here's the fix... You will need to re-cut …

A very odd issue... I've done a system reboot and all but I have no in-sim sounds. I do have sounds from youtube, the GTN clicks in the RXP GTN750, but anything directly driven by XP is not working, engine, gear, flaps, etc etc. The master sound box is ticked and all sliders are ticked at various levels. My Win7 master volume panel shows XP11 as enabled and working normally. I've got no clue what could be the problem.

How can i increase the number of cars on the roads? I just installed Norway pro VFR and its almost no cars driving on the roads.

Does it have the same functionality as real one (Garmin 430)?
