Hello, when I do a flight at night I was always wondering about an ocean out of red and white lights on the ground. They are visible until very far distance. I found out that theese are the lights of the static tractors on the ground. Is it possible to deactivate theese lights or better remove theese tractros completly? Please see the pictures attached. Hello everyone, I am new to forums and posting anything and new to x-plane, I downloaded x-plane11 and purchased a few Go Flight modules, downloaded the interface tool for x-plane from Polly pot. My issue is, after setting up the Go Flight modules, there are trailing or tracking lines behind the aircraft upon takeoff and the rest of the flight, when I remove the Go Flight modules and reload the aircraft, the lines are gone. The Polly pot tool is very confusing to me and difficult to program. Also, I do not understand the Data refs or how to use them in x-plane. I took some photos from the monitor of the lines from the aircraft and loaded them in my computer, but do not…

Hey all, I was just wondering, do the AC in XP seem extremely bouncy? I did a flight in the default 737 and even a slight tap of the brakes the nose dips so hard. Even on landing, what looked to be a soft touch and I get bounced back in the air. The other day in 20 kt winds, the default 737 was continuously rocking up and down on the nose gear - thought it was so odd. I kinda noticed similar behavior in XP 10 as well awhile back, just not as drastic I guess. Is it just me?

I just downloaded this for iPad and it's absolutely awesome but I believe I can only use it for a month before is have to pay a subscription. Does anybody do this? It adds a huge amount of immersion so I am considering paying.

I dont fly xp11 too often (I usually fly p3d), but I notice that often the setting for "Use non-proportional vertial field of view" is ticked when I enter the sim. This of course distorts my view quite alot. Then I notice that my view is tilted to the left. When I used the sim last time, it was aligned with the layout of the cockpit, but now it's like im tilting my head to the left when looking forward. This goes for all the views. It's all crooked. I'm trying to find a key command to tilt it back, but I cant seem to find it. When I click the button "reset FOV" my main view gets aligned again, which is good, but all my other quick views are still tilted.

Guys, I have a few dumb questions... When in OSM's editor, if I make an outline and label it as a residential area, will XP automatically fill it with houses or do I still need to add house one by one as objects? When exporting an .osm file from the OSM website, what data is exported? Roads, buildings, trees, etc? When converting the .osm file with OSM2XP, what are the best options when it comes to excludes and staff? Thanks for any help... I really want to tackle doing Chesterfield, Virginia, but have no clue what to do.

When i install xp11 anew (like after os reinstall and drive wipe) it looks like it deletes xp files on my external ssd. Anyone else seen this or is it the vodka?

I set up a flight today, in Bermuda, and after taking off...and then heading over the ocean, (into the wind), and with full flaps...at 55knots into the wind...I can not make a successful water landing in the Cessna (default) float. I have tried ten times, and each time, even...practically stalling just over the water, into the wind, the tips of the pontoons seem to grab the water/waves, and I flip, crash and burn. I am having no luck with water landings, where before in earlier XP11 betas, and in XP10, I have had many successful water landings. No matter how slow in knots 55, to stall speed, JUST ABOVE THE WATER...I can NOT land without a flip and crash. Have…

New release at the Org. Graphically looks pretty good. This release looks to be on par with his previous Twin Otter. I have his Twin Otter, and it's decent enough. Didn't quite equal the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended for MSFS, but it was pretty good. Of course, this does look like the best out what is (for the time being) a pretty limited selection of DHC-3's. I'll likely add this to the shopping list of what to buy once XP11 hits final. I'm a very huge DHC fan, separately from being into flight simulation. Bit of a hobby, I guess. So I picked up World Traffic 2, grabbed all the Bluebell planes, got a registration key and set up my first two airports with random solid flight routes. Works like a charm except for one thing. I fear I already know the answer to this but I want to confirm it with anyone else who has had WT2 for a while. Ground Routing.... this has to be the most tedious thing I've ever encountered in flight simming. Do you really have to jump through the hoops of a half dozen programs to get good ground routes setup for EACH and EVERY airport one at a time so you can actually see traffic on the ground moving around and not just in the sky? Hi guys, I am new to X-plane X and 11. Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the performance I get in these sims. The biggest culprit are the clouds. As soon I load them the Sim drops 10's of FPS down making it unplayable. The drop comes instantly. I thought a weather addon might be the solution as I read many positive comments about it. I bought Skymaxx Pro V4 because I do not like X-enviro 2D blankets. But found afterwards that Skymaxx Pro V4 was nothing good at all. It adds according to me nothing at all!! Hi, I'm a newcomer to XP11. I had a little experience flying in XP10 but never took it to far. Now that the beta is pretty stable I've decided to jump in and give it a try. Coming from FSX the X-plane addons are a whole new mystery to me. So my question to you all is... Am I able to use ortho4xp, HD Mesh V3, and World2xplane at the same time? Or am I going at this the wrong way? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. For Reference my PC specs are as follows: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 I7 6700K @ 4.6 GHZ MSI GTX 980 TI G-skill 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ

I am interested to learn if the Mac Pro is a reasonable option for running XP11 on the Mac platform. I understand that the FirePro graphics are not the greatest, but it seems that the multicore Xeon cpu may be a good fit for XP11. I know that the iMac is probably a better choice for this (and I know many will suggest a PC as being an even better choice) But I am interested to hear from somebody that actually runs XP11 on the 2013 nMP. Is it possible to make read Garmin trainer software (G1000 or GNS 430) navigation data from XP11 ? I don't want to buy stuff like RealityXP to make it fit into a cockpit, because I already have G1000 sim (from link above) installed on my laptop. thanks.

So I was doing a flight yesterday from ATL to FLL, and got a missing scenery warning. Thought it was odd as I had installed all of the US so I decided to install all scenery and try again - still getting the same error. For some reason I have no scenery in florida? Is this a known bug of sorts or am I looking at a full reinstall? I have a few freeware airports, the 737-800x mod by Zibo and Xenviro. Been keeping it fairly vanilla until its out of beta.

Hi! So I noticed that, in XPL 11 beta, the IXEG 737 banks or turns right when deploying flaps. Doesn't matter if its flags 5 or flaps 30, the plane only steers right, making it impossible to control. On an outside inspection, the flaps are down on both sides and there is no abnormal spoilers or rudder going right either. Anyone else experienced this issue? Probably a simple fix but couldn't find any information about it.

I am now unable to select menu items in X-P 10.51 to include shutting it down. Have to force a computer reboot to do this. I can how ever fly the Cirrus jet with no noted problem. It happened to be the aircraft that I last used. I did install a new 40" TV as a monitor and in X-plane 11 beta 13 I had to resize my desktop to slightly less than the full 1920 x 1080. (1842 x 1036) Could this be messing with the 1920 x 1080 setting in xp 10.51?The video looks great even at this new desktop size. Since the menu is not working, kind of hard to make any sort of adjustments inside the sim. Any idea how to get it working again? Terr…
