Hey all, I decided to hold off on playing XP10 for a while whilst waiting for an upgrade (I like to turn HDR and AA up), but I'm undecided on whether to upgrade now or to hold off. My system specs at the moment as.. Dedicated SSD for gaming 8gb DDR3 RAM @ 1333mhz Core i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz GTX 660ti 2gb And I am considering upgrading to.. GTX 970 4gb Are my other components lacking too much to see benefits from this upgrade? Or would I see a big increase? Thanks

I am using the CH Throttle Quadrant. Since PB 9 I have the problem, that the the thrust jumps back to idle during the flight. This appears in all aircrafts. I calibrated the throttle quadrant several times. Any ideas?

I did update my pc with the latest windows 10rc and now im unable to play OpenGL games. X-Plane and the Opengl version of Valley benchmak won`t start. I did delete X-Plane`s preferences but no luck. I did also install the latest Nvidia drivers. Can somebody confirm this?

Curious on everyones experience so far with FI 1.7x and XP11 beta.. Without HDR turned on, the c172 cockpit is a bit too dark, however i can pull about 28 fps in NYCX area (though around 36 fps with p3d locked at 48 fps).. If i turn on HDR its brighter but i drop to 17-21 fps at best.. i couldnt find a good combination that worked well with HDR turned on. I set HDR to "HDR" (the top slider). I havent done much yet with NI settings either, though i think Thread Optimization on Auto was better than off. I really didnt find turning on ASW that usable.. and also at one point i had HDR on after messing with combinations and i was getting 7/25 for a frame rate and…

So I finally fired up XP11 PB12 and decided to sit down with it for a bit. So far I'm very impressed. The default 737 is pretty impressive with a little tweaking, I just wish I had a sound pack of the BSS level for this thing and I'd be pretty happy. The only thing I noticed is at night there are these blue orbs reflecting on the glareshield it seems. I forgot to take a screen shot so I may have to do one tomorrow. Is this a bug or some sort of reflection from something in the flight deck. I don't see this anywhere else in the sim nor have I tried any other aircraft yet. Thanks!

Those of you with high end systems i5 or i7 6600/6700 and up and 980 gtx , what are your vertical synch settings in the nvidia 3d control panel? Im running half refresh rate but im not sure anymore if thats doing me any good or not. Ive been getting some stutters lately mainly on taxi turns. any ideas?

I'm not sure what might be going on here, aside from the fact i updated to the latest nvidia driver recently.. but a week ago I had everything smooth as butter even in overcast situations.. kbos, mostly cloudy + skymaxx at 3/4 distance slider was a solid 38+ fps in a cessna.. now today returning to the sim its at 20.. i didnt update xp either. My rig is a 1080 ftw hybrid + i7 6700k at 4.6 and 3200 mhz ram.. Any thoughts out there?

So I have watched a bunch of XP11 videos with add-ons like X-Plane Life and xEnviro. It is impressive. The sim still lacks the aircraft I want to fly but they are coming sooner or later. I am still on the fence though because there is a problem with all the videos I have watched... EVERY single one of them that go in depth.. is in Europe. X-Plane has ALWAYS catered more to Europe flyers than United States in my opinion. Are there any good videos of US areas BESIDES New York? It just feels like all the effort to make X-Plane look its best via payware or freeware mods are all based in the European theater. I have only seen New York and parts of Seattle in the…

I wonder if anyone has had issues loading the Boeing 747-8 Series to X-Plane 11? I just downloaded the software from the X-Plane Store and on loading get an error message regarding missing airfoil file? Not a good start for a new download? Any experience? I have reported it to the developer by e-mail. George

Today was my second bird strike in 30 or so flights which caused dual engine failure on takeoff....annoying to say the least after setting up cockpit for 30 min. Any way to turn this off?

Sometimes upon starting it it will tell me I need to activate it to have the full program, my code is already in the box, I hit activate and it tells me I now have access to all features. Is this just an update occurrence?

Often times when i'm running a batch process on a large number of tiles it gets stuck.. the command line window might show a connection error or similar and the GUI would be on say tile 15 of 200 or 10 of 30 etc and just stuck.. I'm guessing there is no way to get around it, but it would be nice if there was a way to at least stop the process and redo it without the need to go through and click on all the tiles again? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

Good Morning, Not sure if this is the right spot to post this, but it is X-Plane related. I am having an issue in XP11 with add-on aircraft were I can preflight but shortly after taking off I get a blue screen with a Hardware failure. When I scanned the QR code, it didnt really key in on what hardware failed. Currently this is happening with the FF 757v2, Carenado C-206, and JRollon CRJ. I do not have any issues with the default aircraft, nor did I have any issues when I ran a flight on Prepared using the PMDG 777. I am not sure if this matters but XP11 is installed on my C drive and not in my Programs (86x) folder. Below are my computer specs, I am not very comp…

Just noticed when aircraft was near a baggage truck on tarmac its was vibrating when the aircraft shut down the baggage truck stopped vibrating - saw this on a YT video - thought it was kind of neat :wink:

Who has it, does it work in XP11? It looks like a really solid twin for XP... wondering if the G500/600 panel will crush fps like their G1000 does in the C206 (at least on my rig).
