Hey Guys, I need some help, I was thinking of overclocking my graphics card, I have the GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128 MB Version, it currently runs at 250/460, what I would like to know is, If I increase the 250 to 255, what do I have to increase the 460 too? Also, what are some safe running numbers with this card? Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the scenario. My current computer is of a 1.2 gHz processor with a 40 GB hard running under Windows XP. Greetings,Here's the problem, In a nutshell.......FS2K2 crashes. I would be in the middle of flying and all of a sudden...that error window shows up.." I admit it...I can't leave a good thing alone. I also wanted to see just how far this amazing piece of hardware could go. I seem to have gotten lucky as this card was a very good OC'er to begin with. The core would easily do 375 all day long but the memory was not quite as willing. Not wanting to do any voltage modding to the card I knew from my experience w OC'ing that my main enemy was heat. Looking at the factory HS/fan combo I noticed that although it provided fairly decent surface area, the fin arrangement poorly impeded flow across the memory chips. I just got my first 19inch Monitor.When I run games in 1280x1024 I can't get the pictureto fill the full width of the screen.Is this norm with 19inch monitors?

I really like the new Nvidia 43.45 drivers, but I just noticed that I can no longer force AA in some of my games.. neither CFS2 nor WWII Fighters..In FS2002 all is well.. I select 2xAA in the driver properties and it appears in the sim. Great visual quality and best performance ever.I have tried both the Omega version (best performance on my P4 system) and the version off the Nvidia website.. same issue.. FSAA does not work in CFS2.. Has anyone managed to get this to work.. and what did you do?GF4 4200-128 card.

Hey guys,I just got a new ATI Radeon 9700 Pro All in wonder card and i am not getting very unclear virtual cockpit gauges in A320PIC. Anyone know what could be causing that? They are very clear if i zoom in very close, but its very unclear from a distance. My old GeForce 2 card showed them clearer from the same distance. The displays just look really crappy when looking at them from even the captains seat at normal view. The text on the panel graphics are clear, but just the gauges, all of them. I am thinking of upgrading my AMD 2100 system to a P4 3 GHZ with 800 FSB, using my existing Geforce4 Ti 4600, but I am little nervous in view of what I am hoping to get in the way of FPS. I am hoping to increase resolution to 1600 x 1200 in 32 bit, and to run My Traffic at 100% !!!!!!!!, all sliders to 100%, and plenty of rough weather.Has anybody any idea what the FPS maybe?I have just downloaded the My Traffic demo, which is excellent but at 1600 x 1200 the FPS dropped from 30 to 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on my 2100 XP when I activated My Traffic and installed the Syndey Airport from Aussim (sorry AVSIM!)Thanks and Best Wishes,ChrisEGBB

My OS is W98SE. Somehow, I managed to get into a position in which my shutdown loops into startup. In other words, when I go thru the shutdown routine, instead of shutting down, the computer goes thru its reboot cycle. I have to manually kill the power during the reboot cycle. If anyone reading this can help with ideas about the problem, I will appreciate it. A friend suggests my registery shutdown routine may be corrupted. If that is the case, how do I correct it. I know it's been discussed ad-infinitum, but I need some clarification. With regard to FS2002:1. If you have the settings within the game set for anti-aliasing, filtering, etc. marked on, does it make any difference what the settings are on in ATI's control panel?2. I presume that the only settings on ATI control panel that matter for FS2002 are those for Direct 3D? Open GL settings don't matter for FS2002, or do they?3. Is it better to set the ATI control panel settings for Application Preference or to force on for all programs?4. I have my Win XP desktop resolution set for 1024x768 32-bit and the same for FS2002. Hey All,Not sure where to really post this, and I'm sorry if it is in the wrong place.I reformatted my hard drive, so everything is fresh! But there is a problem. Whenever I try to move windows around... resize them and what not, the computer will freeze for about 10 seconds... the screen will go black for a brief moment... then it will come back with the window looking all funky. If I open another window, it "refreshes" the funky window, and all is good again. I've got a very annoying sound problem that started occurring yesterday. I was driving around in Mafia (the game) when I suddenly heard something that sounded a bit like a ship's horn or fog horn. As I was down by a river I thought that maybe it was actually a ship going by, but as the sound was so loud and didn't stop I quickly realised that it must have been some kind of problem. Afraid that the speakers (not to mention my brain!) would become damaged, I muted the speakers and shut down the game.After that I didn't have this nasty problem until today, running FS2002. I flew one flight without any problems, but the second time I used the sim, the horrible sound was there…

My Microsoft Precision 2 joystick is acting crazy when I use it it with FS2k2.The joystick "locks up", and will not take any inputs. It will cause the plane to bank, dive or climb and the joystick can do nothing to correct the problem. But, if I hit the 5 key on the number pad, it works for a few seconds, before it locks up again. I have to keep hitting the 5 key to keep it working.The joystick works perfectly with every other game that I use it with.It is calibrated correctly also.I recently had to uninstall and reinstall FS2k2. I am wondering if this may had had some effect on the joystick. Or, maybe I need to reinstall FSUIPC. I am lost as to what to do next.Any ideas …
