Guys,Got a slight issue with my CH Yoke, it's a USB one and the throttle slider is behaving irrationally. When i use the CH Centre to test the controller, the throttle when at "idle" is showing on the screen jumping up and down a little, whereas at "full throttle" there is no such jumping.This is having an effect on the FS situation, as it's impossible to select reverse thrust when the throttle is changing constantly to counteract the reverse selection - is there a way around this at all please?Thanks!Henry

I've searchd the forums and searched the web and read the readme's, but I'm obviously missing something. I installed the CH Products throttle quadrant (TQ) and the problem is that the throttle axis on my Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick keeps overriding the throttle assignment on the quadrant.I started off with a fresh copy of fs9.cfg.I calibrated the Sidewinder and the TQ in Windows before starting FS9--all the buttons and levers work.Then I went into FS9, on Settings, and selected axis assignment. Hi,I have two problems with my new computerThe first one is like this:Any third party window (ADV disp of Pete Dowson ; fspassengers live status window ; IvAp or SB3 etc) turn the lower part of the main panel window in full black. It can be "fixed" if I enter in full screen mode and come back to the window mode. hello folks out there im having a problem with my ge force 7800 gs vid card when im simming, the card as it seems works real good until i try to undock and put to another screen, im running a nine monitor set up, five for views and four for instrumentation, im flying the level-d 767 and when i try to undock and move to another screen it locks up.what i will do put the main screen into windowed mode and then undock and move what i need to another screen then save it, and i will then go back to full mode and then everything locks up and if you wait a few moments both monitors will go into a video fail and the screen will be in 8 bit mode, i then will have to restart and eve…

Hi fellasFor the last month, i have been doing some serious research about flightsim controllers, and the Saitek X52 hit me. It looks like a great joystick/throttle combo however is not cheap.Can someone please tell me if the Saitek X52 works with windows XP professional and is easy to set up for fs2004. Hi all!As stated abov, im looking for a new FF-Joystick. I'm actually using the throttle of saitek's X-52 system with their "cyborg evo force" stick. I "disabled" the physical centering spring and really LOVE the "uncentered" feel of that stick (no more triming problems ;) ). I had fun for about two weeks and now the ruder axis stopped working. It's only working when twisting left, the right-twist-side doesn't seem to be recognized anymore. Think again. I just recently upgraded from 1GB to 2GB of RAM. Tonight, I flew the PMDG 737 out of KEWR, with ASv6, RC4, Aeorsoft Manhattan, Megascenery NY, and Shez's KLGA all enabled, and all sliders full right. Prior to the RAM upgrade, if I attempted the same flight, it would be choppy with stutters, and the hard drive light would have been constantly flashing. Tonight it was smooth as silk. FPS was only 9 to 15, but it was relatively constant with virtually no stutters. When I looked at the RAM usage, FS9 was using about 950MB all by itself. That confirms to me that more than a gig is useful and will smooth out and improve your experience. See the attach…

Here goes: upon starting FS9, a window popped up saying "Software 3D acceleration enabled blah blah blah", basically: no hardware 3D acceleration was available. FS9 didn't start. Checked dxdiag and video driver (Omega) settings. Dxdiag showed all accelerations enabled. Tried again, same thing. Uninstalled and reinstalled the video driver (used latest ATI, not Omega this time) as recommended by MS knowledge base. One problem fixed, FS9 starts. Now the interesting part. Good morning everyone. I have had a problem for sometime with Nvidia drivers. First, here is what I have:Nvidia 6800GT AGP / ASUS A7N8XDeluxe MB / Nvidia chipset / AMD2800xp+barton 2.1ghz / Win2000pro / 1.5 gigs dual ch ram pc3200 /550watt power supply. OK, my problem is that any driver past 71.89 will not work properly.I use 1152X864 32 res. With any new driver, The screen is black in FS9. I heard this is caused by the AA being above 4x. I set mine at 8 (highest setting on my card)because anything less looks bad. I have AF set to 2x or 4x. How can I do to get any newer driver to work? Also, will this improve performance any with the newer drivers, or is that just a myth?…

Basically the title says it all.This is my situation. I got a FX55 and a Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939. The problem is that I have 2x512Mb and 1x1Gb Ram sticks. All PC3200, 400Mhz. The Mainboard only allows me to use the sockets (4) this way:1 Stick only: in the #1 socket.2 Sticks: in #1 + #2 which enables the dual, or #1 + #3 which keeps the memory as single chanel.3 sticks: No possible configuration (unbootable system)4 sticks: duh!You would say that the best answer is #1 + #2, with the 1G + 1 512. The problem is that for some reason the 1G overrides the 512 and the system only sees the 1G (either in socket 1 or 2) and ignores the 512 one (in either socket too). So my guess is…

Sometimes when I first start a flight and do a controle surface check my rudder flickers and the pedals do not respond This happens in flight as well.Ive even tried rebootingAlso at times I have no aleron or elevator responce in the Yoke upon start.This also happens in a long flight .When I start my approach and turn off the AP. My grandsons sometimes go overboard by installing junk demo games, then decide to delete them. Well, I try to help them to delete the software, but most of it could not be deleted entirely since it is not displayed in the add/remove section of control panel.Is there a way to register the software in control panel for a much easier removal? I have been using XP Professional with SP1 for a long time without any problem whatsoever.Today when I clicked CTR+ALT+DEL, I got the Taskmgr displayed, BUT with NO top menus.
