I'm having problems from time to time with my ailerons. Looking at FSUIPC it takes a long time to get from -16k to 16k+ - we're talking seconds.Seems to only happen on ailerons, and not all the time, restart FS9 and it's fine again - for a while.Help?

I no its been ask and discussed several times but I like to get more information on those 2 CPU's before I buy. I think people seems to say that CPU Speed is a lot better than Cores for FSX. I wanted the Q6600 because I'm thinking of the future, but it doesn't seems there are too many games out there built for Quad core. 3 GHZ verses 2.4 on the Q6600. If I had the money I will just get the Q6800, but I spent $900.00 on my last CPU an FX 55 which is a dinosaur now after a year and a half. Thats when I decided never to pay more than 500.00 for a CPU. Thanks for your help.Joe

I'm not sure how appropriate it is to post this, but I feel an obligation to my fellow simmers who have helped me so much in the past. Basically I'd just like to say that if you feel like you just can't wait to get away from that plastic CH Products yoke you've had for a few years and you're considering buying the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System that you might want to hold off a couple of weeks until they get the bugs out.I got mine from Amazon.com two nights ago and it is a sweet unit. Very hefty and much more realistic feeling than my CH Products Yoke. However, it appears to be very buggy. It's taken me over 5 hours to get it to fly reasonably well, as there is a lot …

  5. On the under side of my desktop runs a rail about 35 mm from the edge. I wonder if that will obstract the tightening screw on the yoke and throttle? How deep in on the underside will the tightening screw reach? On my CH yoke things works since the tightening screws fits in front of the rail.

For the comparison shopper in most of us: HKPEC has previously correctly revelead the prices of Intel processors the last 2 quarters. The prices in the attachment of course are for OEM. Scheduled launch is early 2008. They look VERY affordable and L2 Cache sizes seem to be growing ...:-eekRegards, KendallDell 8400 3.2 GHZ H.T.3GB 533 DDR2X800XT 256MB/Catalyst driver - 7.1's6x AA/16x HQ A/FDiamond Xtreme/Logitech X-530'sDual Monitor: Dell 2405/1905CH Yoke/Pedals - Saitek Throttle

  8. I found this tip while looking on the Nvidia forums. Very helpful indeed and seems to have solved my graphics dilemma with FS9. http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=38921"I think... a friend had the exact same issue of not being able to get AA in FS9 and FSX with his new 8800 card:I believe the reason is due to the driver profiles for FS9 and FSX that already exist in nvapps.xml when you install the driver. Since the newer driver versions, they've been setting an "AA:EnhanceOnly" flag for both sims. This was causing the exact issue many of you describe here where you can't get any AA.I successfully fixed this on my friend's machine by doing the following:1. Down…

Anyone using the 7.9 drivers with a X1950 series card? They came out on 9/10. Was wondering if ATI ever fixed the AA issue not working that cropped up a few driver series' ago? I am using the 7.1's right now and was wondering if it was worth upgrading to the 7.9's. Thanks

Hello, does anybody here know (or have heard about) if it is possible to run two graphics cards (non-SLI of course) at the same time on the ASRock-4CoreDual-Sata2?I have one Sapphire AGP X1950 Pro 512Mb and I am curious to know if I could add a second PCIe version of the same card in such a motherboard.Should I expect lots of compatibility problems? Or severe bottlenecking on the PCIe X4 slot? Thanks in advance for you answers & Best regardsRicardo.

I've noticed that IE7 in Vista upgrade stops working for me after a while. I must resort to Mozilla to browse. My wife uses the same computer, and she has no problems. Her USER screen comes up and she browses effortlessly and with no IE7 interruptions at all. I don't know what the issue is other than I must have a plug in or something that when triggered, stops me from using IE Explorer. When I pull up my bookmarks, favorites, the list just disappears and no browsing can occur. Sometimes I can go for hours...and sometimes just for minutes. It must have something to do with one of my favorite sites or something. How can I troubleshoot this?I look to the gurus on this forum…

Hi friends,I would like to know if there are any kinds of projector which provide 180 degree of viewing angle. Normally we have to use 3 projectors for that. One for front, one for left and one for right. Can we have all of them in one projector. For example a projector with three VGA input which merge and produce one image with 180 degree angle?Something like what we have inside CAE simulators but commercially available for us.(price is not important)happy landingstouradg

All,Not sure if this was posted here before or not, but if not...If you have an 8800 series video card, you're running XP, and you can't view any QT movies ((for instance, movie trailers @ Apple etc.) because *any* browser (IE, Firefox, Netscape) fails with a quicktimeh264 error here's how to fix it: Open QT Preferences|Advanced and select Safe mode. This isn't a problem with Vista. I built a new rig in January, but skimped on the video card. My plan was to wait until DX10 stabilized. Are we any closer to that? Is this fall a better time to buy than last fall? I know that FSX will be updated sometime this season for DX10, and won't require DX10.1. But whatever I buy, I'm going to be stuck with it for a few years. What would you do?

There's a very interesting little news article in this month's UK edition of PC Format (October 2007, P.22). For the benefit of anyone who doesn't have access to this magazine, the article says that Nvidia has been having problems with "virtualised 3D memory" on its 8x00 series graphics cards and MS has now made this feature optional on DX10 and not required. Apparently this removes a major obstacle to getting DX10 to work on XP. The article states "there is now no technical reason why DirectX 10 can't be ported to XP".Interesting.In the same edition there is a review of World In Conflict, and they compare the DX9 and DX10 versions side by side. The review says the two ve…
