Hello,First sorry for my English…I have big problem because my TP doesn’t work. I mean work but not to the end…I configured proxyuser.ini exactly like my friend (his TP works great), there are folders with JPG and BGL but there’s no photo scenery in FSX…In FSX in Addon Scenery I have folders WORLD XXXX as first, I have disable UAC, firewall and anivirus. I have been flying FS9 for several years and have spent a lot of money on scenery etc. I recently upgraded my computer and now have FSX loaded and am looking for a replacement for the default scenery, Is TileProxy a worthwhile application and still a viable program for use with FSX? It looks like there were issues with Google Maps back in the day and that development may haved ceased. Is that still the case?Thanks,John

I've scoured the 'net looking for the answer to this, but come up short. Maybe it's because I'm not using proper terminology. Someone here can hopefully help.I used to have TP installed, but I had to do a reinstall of my OS due to viruses and stuff (first viruses on my PC since I built it three years ago!). I used the Ready Driver Plus method of getting TP to run and it worked fine. After my reinstall, I noticed the Ready Driver was still listed in the BIOS, along with an old Win7 install. I managed to get the old Win 7 to not show up anymore (I think it was because previously, I had FSX and Win7 on opposite drives than what I have now -- example, FSX was on my smaller dr…

I recently installed Tileproxy and I have to say it really makes FSX a whole new world. Literally. I am using Bing Maps for the scenery and it's great but... Damn that G##gle imagery is sharper and clearer at lower altitudes than Bing and it has nice summer textures as well. Has there been any more dialoge between the Tileproxy makers and G##gle? I am just hopeful that they might find an acceptable workaround for there problem with Tileproxy. I am sure Bing will continue to increase the resolution of their imagery at lower altitudes and maybe get some summer images around where I live, but that G##gle stuff is really nice looking. Anyway. Hi all,You may be very familiar with the following screen when starting fsx after ready of tileproxy:The picture shows my problem, that the first oval-shaped room never shows a sign but several +s, the screen text will roll over and over just like it's loading but showing nothing. after the change of location in FSX, even these + signs disappeared.This problem remains and makes me unable to start a single flight with TP, I have already downloaded the recommended ini file and tried yahoo and MSN map sources, and i can even find some jpg pictures in the ini defined cache folder, but they do not appear in fsx when i start the flight at such a status.Anyone have any idea ab…

Look at my CMD window and tell me if you see something wrong. Thanks also look at my quality. When I look at the maps it is clear but on here it is grainy. Also when I look in the cache folder it is very clear.

flying from city airport using TP with FX I'm finding the river Thames is sometimes blue mostly brown and the pale green difficult to find and see the main sites ie tower bridge ,houses of parliament . the Eye etc, altittude 1000-2000ft,any ideas please Eric

Hi everybody, After years of abstinence, I'm back to FSXI've read (and seen) a lot about tileproxy, and thus wanted to try it myself. I've read tutorials, advices, tweaks. Followed them all by the letter I believe. Tileproxy does work, files are stored on a dedicated drive (300 gb, SATA II, Cache: 8 Mb) and updated , BUT I'm stuck at 40 TPS, which is obviously way too low. I should be expecting 500 according to the manual. Hi gents, just wondering how you can increase the scenery radius around the plane, I already have my LOD RADIUS = 6.500000. When I am flying, the scenery radius follows the plane, adding scenery at the front of the plane and when looking behind, taking away at the rear. Its just that the LOD8 I think its called,that is surrounding me at a greater distance is bright green and looks totally unrealastic in colour, compared to the developing photo secenery radius around the plane ( flying around Madrid (LEMD). I have used Horizon VFR UK scenery and the photo scenery is crystal clear at high resolution from horizon to horizon with FPS over 60. Any help greatly appreciated..…

Hi All, I'm running FSX SP2 Acceleration on 32 bit Windows 7 and a Quad Core Phenom Black processor and have installed Tileproxy in line with edtruthan's post. I also used the proxyuser.ini file but have changed the source server to the one that seems to give the best results for the area of the uk that I fly in ie . It seems to be working ok'ish but i am not getting the spectacular results that others are getting. On looking at the manual first thing I notice on page 1 is that it says that it runs best in DX9 mode. Can anyone tell me how to run in DX9 mode please - or am I missing something basic here? Hello all I am new to TileProxy. I just installed it last night after ready the instructions about 10 times. I have looked in older post to see if I could get my answer but I could not find a post that had my issue. I have Windows 7 64bit Ultimate. My UAC is already turned off. I loaded the 'F8' option, and run DSEO13B.exe to modify the unsigned drivers behaviour and let them run (http://forum.avsim.net/topic/321458-win-7-64-bit-install/) Here is my issue. When installing TileProxy at the point when it is loading the driver it stops and says that windows had a tried loading and unsigned driver and give me the location. I click ok and it continues, and finishes just fine. …

I managed to get NAVTEQ maps working with TP. However it still needs to be adjusted somehow. Also they use bunch of balance servers (more than 10) and i limited the * star value to 5 only. Hey simmers! maps.geoportal.gov.pl - it is map service with high quality aerial maps of Poland. Im trying to get it working with TP. Everything seems to be OK, TP console windows shows no errors, LOD eggs fill up with star symbols but eventually terrain in my FS2004 get black. I know there is a problem with correct syntax, coordinates section needs to be accurate.
