Hey, I have seen that ask.com maps has the best resolution for every area I want, but one thing, IT DOESN'T WORK! When I start tileproxy with the ask.com as the active service, it just has weird codelines and says "GIVING UP!" then done, then GIVING UP! then done, and in the end it's all black tiles Please help me, and can somebody please tell me how to add other servers? Please?Thanks!

Hey, my name is Ishai and I am new to tileproxy and this forum,I have read the manual, done everything it says, but it doesn't work, when I load up fsx with tileproxy there is no textures in the ground, it's the default one, and fsx looks as if it's in direct x10 mode(Which it isn't, I haven't turned direct x10 on, and when I looked in the display settings, it said direct x10 WAS OFF.)I have no Idea what to do! Hi all: I just have a question in regards to "previuos" tiles or Cache area: I've being "saving" all my tiles and they are stored in an external drive and I am not concern if the area keeps growing.Currently larger than 1GB. Some areas that I've flown in, have excellent images and some others, not as good. In any event, I saved them all. My only concern is : If I already have a "high quality" tile (specific area) stored (Cache) and if I fly back into the area while using TP, will tilproxy USE the one I already have STORED on the Cache area or would it automatically replaced the tile with a new tile regardless of the quality or resolution ?? I just installed TP and have a question about the cache folders My setup is Win7 on 1tb drive(c:/ drive), I have FSX installed on a separate 500 gb HDD (f:/ drive), and I have a blank 500 gb HDD (e:/ drive) When I installed the TP I installed the cache folders on the HDD with the FSX installed on it (f:/ drive), should I have installed the cache folder on the blank hdd (e:/ drive) or is it ok on the same drive as the FSX(f:/drive)

I run the Start TileProxy as an administrator but it comes up with this.I have disabled that user account control thingy too. 'proxyuser.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Hello. Can anyone help me? I got tileproxy 8 running. The driver running ok. And it seems to load something intomy external drive tileproxy cache folders. But the scenery is not updated. just the regular FSX scenery. tileproxy says: Simulation is runing. proxyUser: Individual tile access 0, 0.0 per secondproxyUser: Preloaded: 31372, Hit: 0, Miss: 0, Messages 469 And it keeps repeating. The right 4 "ovals" are filled with asterisks. The bottom 3 "ovals" are filled with asterisks. The first oval is just dashes. Thanks

Hi, I just started with TileProxy 2 days ago, and so far I have two questions from what I have experienced, hope someone here can educate me and offer some thoughts. 1) I did a flight from Munich to Innsbruck, but when approaching Innsbruck, the payware Approaching Innsbruck from Aerosoft was nowhere to be seen, all you could see was a whitish area where the scenery should be, no airport, no city, nothing. So far I have not noticed that with other airports. Does anybody know what is happening? 2) Regarding the textures for FS2004, is there any way to get the sharper textures or am I stuck with 4,7. Hello,I have been noticing that my TileProxy Photoreal World folder is increasing to a large size (over 40GB)! Is there any benefit in keeping it this large or should I flush it?Thank you for your time.Paul

I just installed TileProxy. I started FSX with SP 1 (I don't have Acceleration). TP seemd to be running ok. Then I changed from Chicago to Morristown. It noticed the location change, but then didn't do anything. I then started FSX. It said loading terrain, then froze at 39%. I left and came back to find the machine completely locked up. This is Win 7 Premium 64 bit.

Ok So I am new,Been reading the manual. But thought I would ask here while still reading.Tileproxy is wokring, I am using the bing server but. . . When looking on bing,it is higher detail then what is displayed in FSX. I have tried and tried toget it to display higher detail. Perhaps you could try to see if you have the sameproblem in the same area. Load up to KODO and let it load then, compare what you see there to bing map.Perhaps I am missing something.Thanks!Xendoshi

Hi everybody, something strange in the maps of Flash Earth, I live in Venegono Inferiore Italy, coordinates: 45° 44’ 35,2” N 8° 53’ 14,4” E Here there is a little airport ICAO code LILN as you can see in the screen shot of Google hearth. But if you try to find it in Flash Earth it’s disappeared, somebody knows why or I am doing some mistakes? Thanks for help Ciao Enrico

Hi guys,Complete newbie here. Just wanted to post a general question with regards to my pc spec and whether it can cope with tileproxy's processes. Relatively new to FSX and just installed Tileproxy Beta 8 a couple of days ago. Currently my tile access per second is hovering between 25 to 65 averaging about 40 and i am wondering whether this is normal for my pc spec or are there any tweaks or tips to improve my tile access performance. My internet connection speed hovers on average at 8 mbit/s so connection should not be a problem. Below are specs for my pc and os as well as my proxy.ini and FSX cfg files. Hi Folks.I am using TileProxy and FSX with XP Pro. I am flying along the south coast of England and notice that I see TileProxy images below the aircraft and for a short distance out when the scenery reverts to default. However, my main query is that at various points along the coastline I am seeing rectangular blocks of plain blue colour where the coastline is not visible. I am thinking that this may have to do with some settings in the user ini file and although I have read various bits about the ini settings I am unsure what and how to adjust.Any hints or tips would be appreciated. Hello Simmers,after long-haul sessions my tiles cannot be erased anymore. Everytime I start the added tool in which you can erase tiles there is a window saying that it is not possible to delete files in this certain folders.What to do ? I have already tried to solve it with administrator rights ( I am using Vista ) but it`s no use.Any hints ??

Hello, I've got a problem with Tileproxy. My Problem ist that my FS9 hasn't changed. I installled it, i Configurated the ini file, I turned off UAC and my Antivirus Program. Then I started TileProxy , I wait until there is standing "TileProxy is ready for takeoff". Then i started fs9 and started a Flight at KSEA. But nothing happens. Can you please help me ;)

I thought this would be a brilliant bit of software but no!I am devastated I have no idea what in the world Tileproxy has done to my flight simulator :angry:I installed it correctlybut it wasn't tomy liking so I uninstalled it and rebooted but when I rebooted my Flight sim had completely blimmin changed.ALL my key assignments...deleted.My default flight had changed...cant put it backcamera views...completely buggered up. Hi,Ok, i been searching, googling for an answer to this specific error, and nothing i found....i've installed, followed the instructions from this site: http://edtruthan.com...proxy/tutorial/and the following error comes when i execute it: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150002) Click ok to close the application."i tried everything, uninstalling it, reboot then F8 to enter deactivating the driver enforcer.... i also used Dseo (software for deactivating the enforcer)and still the same problem... can somebody help me? please notice this is for fs9.thanks.
