Hi all!I'm new to Tileproxy and I'm having some problems on running Tileproxy flawlessly under my FSX. The problem is that the photoreal quality presented in my installation is not as good as it should be. To better show you what I mean, here are two screenshots captured in the same exact place, except one is Tileproxy's ground and the other is a tile I took from the very same map service with a program called "FSTiles", in which the last one shows how it should look like.Tileproxy:FS Tiles:As you can see, under Tileproxy the ground looks very blurred. At first I let Tileproxy use my self made configuration (configured through Tileproxy's setup wizard), then I tried the pr…

I have had problem after problem getting tileproxy to work right on windows 7 64 bit. I have disabled UAC and allowed to load unrecognized drivers. I can start tileproxy, and it says ready to fly in the dos window. Next, I start FSX in windowed mode. When it starts loading the flying site, the tileproxy dos window begins showing Preloaded, hit, miss and messaged. The longer it loads, the higher the values get for hit, miss and messaged. I tried loading at Key West Int in a trike and by the time everything loaded these were my values: Preloaded:88593, Hit:92402, Miss:655, Messages:1102. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me. My settings for FSX have everything maxe…

Hello folks,Could I ask, how do the resolution of ground images processed by Tileproxy and SBuilder X compare?I've been used to using SBuilder so I'm a bit hesitant to try and setup, configure and learn how to use Tileproxy if the results in FSX are comparable. Thanks in advance

I guess most of you know about ENB series HDR plugin with FSX, if not it adds very cool lighting features like bloom and adjustable brightness, saturation and contrast.Works with FS9 too.Sorry for big screenies:)Screenshot01Screenshot02Screenshot03Screenshot04Screenshot05

I got Tileproxy yesterday but when I started to fly my textures were all fuzzy and it doesn't look like the video that inspired me to get it. It takes a long time to load some textures and theres loads of black tiles and some strange glitchy lines going down some textures. My computer specs are:AMD Ahlon II X2 245 Dual Core Processor 2900 Mhz, 2GB RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate,Nivida Geforce 8200.I'm getting around 50 to 100kB download speed (I know its not very good), and have default Tileproxy Installer settings.Thanks.

Hello Simmers,I fly more or less every highspeed Jetflight on IVAO with Tileporxy engaged. The more you decrease your speed (esp. at airport approaches) the better the quality becomes.Anyone out there who has some hints how to minimize the blurry effects during high speed flights at high altitudes ? Any experiences yet ?I appreciate your help :smile:wolfen2000 :(

  11. Hello Simmers, just to start some kind of survey: What chances do you see to have the whole world covered via Tileproxy ?Will there be a chance to take on Google Earth again sometime ? Will VE and Yahoo!Maps provide more landscape footage in the future ?What do you think ?wolfen 2000

Basic question: If I fly over the same area repeatedly and download the tiles, the next time I start FSX should'nt all of those previously downloaded tiles get loaded into FSX rather quickly. It seems that tiles do not load any faster the next time I fly in my favorite area. When I check tileproxy's dos box it says the "cannot create cache file...". What would cause this error.

I read on the tileproxy tutorial that some people experience problems with FSX SP1 and tileproxy. The problem listed is exactly the problem I have. FSX starts up fine and you can see the textures loading nicely. As you move forward the textures load and everything is great. Then sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes 10, zilch. Textures quit loading. The tileproxy window shows 0.0 loading. You can pause the game or fly around there is never anymore loading of textures, I'm just stuck with the very low resolution.I've got a pretty powerful computer and cable modem. I'm running windows 7 64 bit. One other thing when I try to reload the scenery under the top menu in F…

I had a problem with tileproxy working for about 5 minutes and then it would quit loading textures (like tileproxy shut off). I know others have had problems with tiles loading. Well I just had the most awesome flight with tiles loading well before I get to the location. All I did was right click on FSX.exe and go to compatibility and set it for Windows XP compatability mode. Everything looks great now, all the aircraft seem to work just as well, if you're having problems try this out.Todd2

Hi,Win 7 - ReadyDriver installed (due to driver signing - works fine now). - TP Dos Window functioning - UAC Disabled I just finished the install and took a flight but no TP Scenery. I did refresh scenery and selected service.3, but still no TP scenery.I have include below the service entries for you to view, just to make sure all looks OK. I did just find the entry in the ini file which states service 3 is the active url. Forgot to mention that in thescenery library There are new entries above UTX so it seems that is OK unless UTX needs to be unchecked but not sure. 17. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? You can see from the attached screen grab (left one) that my scenery is blue or blue/green with very little detail and crispness. The whole thing looks smudged. I have included a copy of the website 30 cm image (right one) in about the same location - it is crisp and clear. This problem occurs with any location that I fly in – I picked KMTH so you can compare my 30 cm scenery with that shown on the web site. VISTA 32 – stripped down system – nothing except FSX runs on itNO security software – no other apps of any kind run!I5-750 @3.2 GHz / 4 GB memory / 8800 GTS (640MB)FPS stays at 23 – 27 flying into KSEA with CS727No traffic…

ProxyUser.exe stops working on lesson 3: Climbs and Descents. This is a very strange case because it was working on this lesson before, but it wasn't keeping up with drawing tiles at all(no black squares, but very blurry). I restarted my PC and proxyuser.exe started crashing before I could even start the lesson again. TP still works for free flight though. It wouldn't work in offline mode either. Can you help me get TP working in the lesson and to help me optimize TP for 100+ knots?

I've started using the ENB mod again and now I'm using palette textures. I can edit the color of the light in an image editor and change the look of the game. This is very useful to make tiles look more real. Here's an example of what I mean in Friday Harbor:Basic Palette:Modified:I have total control of my colors now. Of course, you can also change the direction of the light, etc. If you're interested, it's all here: http://enbdev.com/palette_en.htm. If you already use them, have you come up with any great palettes?EDIT- the downside is that drastic changes to the palette will change the AC that color. A minor setback I say and this is really a step in the right directio…
