I need a little help landing my Overland MD-11. I keep landing with a pitch of nearly 10 degrees, which is close to scraping the tail. I tried forcing myself to keep the nose down but then my vertical speed got out of control. With full flaps at 157 KIAS I can't seem to get it right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It just seems the Ultimate Traffic isn't providing what it should. I'm going to reinstall Traffic 2005 and use both. I know it says its not recommended, but I'm going to try it anyway. I spent about a half an hour this morning trying to update UT with new airplanes. When I hit install, It says the aircraft already exists and you can choose to make a new paint for this aircraft or overwrite it. I always choose to make a new paint and I'm not seeing anything. I want new traffic. Maybe it's time to turn to the last resource, My Traffic X.

I have started to experience a situation where, when I leave FS2004 to go back to my desktop and then go back to FS2004, I get alot of jagged lines. I am running FS2004 in the full screen mode, have anti-aliasing turn off within FS2004 and have an ATI x800, 256mb video card. The drivers are up to date. AA is max at 6X and AS is max at 16X. If I go the the ATI control center and change any value, apply that setting, change it back to the original setting, apply the setting again, and finally return to FS2004, the jagged lines are gone. If I leave FS2004 again and return, the the jagged lines return.Any ideas what can cause this behavior?Thanks!Marty

I remember a whole lot of discussion about the flight dynamics and autopilot behavior of this add-on back when it came out. Lots of aircraft.cfg tweaks and suggestions for merges with freeware stuff posted. I know there was a patch released by SkySim since the initial release.My question is...what's the final verdict on this one? Will the tweaks posted in those threads get the FDE and AP gremlins sorted out satisfactorily?All I want is a fun, nice-looking airliner. Hi, recently, I noticed the wording in the parking brake set message had disappeared, I just get a red strip. Also , no ATC. The message box opens, but it's empty. I reluctently reinslalled FS9, expecting it to put me back to square one, but unfortunately it's still exactly the same. Any ideas would be more than welcome.Russell.

I have this weird problem in FS9.When I am in spot view and I use the hat switch to view about... over a few period the aircraft gets closer and closer to me slowly until the point it looks like this. I am then stuck there.. its like the spot view camera radius keeps shrinking and shrinking..until I am at the CG of the aircraft.. Even if I switch my views around and I get back to the spot view. Its like that.The only way I can reset it, is by reloading the aircraft.I don't know when this problem started or what causes it. I don't believe its Active Camera. I just wanted to give a shout out for these guys. I've had their bird for awhile but recently the team at SimuFly has released a 1.50 update to their CIVA INS unit. They now have the 'data card' system built in. Basically, they're like punchcards; you insert a card and it pre-programs the unit(s) with X amount of waypoints ( up to 9 ). You can set these cards up so even on a flight with lots of waypoints very close together ( departures, arrivals especially ) you can just use the interface to insert the card and POW the next set of waypoints is done. This concerns the HU16, but I suppose you can use the DC3 as an example. For long range flights which is better? Flying at 6000' or going to 20,000 ? Terrain not withstanding of course....

I wonder if someone can help, please, with an irritating problem I've had with FS9 as long as I can remember. When flying above 15000 feet I see a sudden change in ground texture with straight lines occurring, which move away as I approach. Hi Folks,I got a real bad problem right out of thin air! Whenever I start FS9.1, the screen page Create a Flightshows a black box where the airplane I wanna fly normaly shows. And FS9 freezes with about 100% CPU usage!I already went back to a older nvidia driver and tried to start FS9 with the driver having AA active and deactive,having AA in FS9 deactive and as well active. Hi folks. I recently purchased the regular version of Ground Environment not the Pro version, and have been struggling with a bit of blurries. I run various photo sceneries like MegaCity Phoenix and Dallas and have no problem with blurries until I use GE. I have tried using a variety of CFG settings mentioned in the VOZ forum and some that were posted here as well. So far they haven't helped much. The blurries seem to be the worst at night. I am also using Ultimate Terrain so I am not sure if that is causing a conflict. I read the reviews on both GE and GE Pro that are posted on Avsim's review pages and it said in the review of GE Pro that the blurries seem to be fixed in…
