I am making Kenai PAEN. While testing out some ai I watched a DC6 Everts Air taxi off the runway and stop after the hold short. For 5 minutes, and then POOF! gone. A Cessna 172 taxied off, stopped, then talked to Ground and taxied off to park. Runway is 150 feet wide, taxiways are 100 feet wide and there are no disconnects, parking spots are all as large or larger than spots used by the same planes before in other sceneries. A Dash 8-100 (or anything bigger) stops, does not talk to Ground, and then disappears. A King Air or anything smaller (and using the same taxiway exit from the runway) stops, talks to Ground, then goes and parks, including at the same gate that the Da…

Hello. I'm hoping someone can answer a quick question for me. I kind of remember a while back reading that the AFCAD program could not be used to edit airport .bgl files created with ADE. For example changing parking codes in spaces, etc. It would make the changes but during the save process something would happen to make it not work correctly. Or something like that. Can anyone confirm or deny? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Please can you help me, I have been trying to get my FS2004 to appear on my screen, I load the 4 discs run the install it tells me everything was installed correctly, but when I press Run or the FS2004 Icon nothing happens. Recently I purchased the IFly B747-4 and was told to place the FS2004 out of a windows protected area, such as programs File x86 etc so I have created a folder on desktop which doesn't work and a further one, nothing seems to allow me to open it, I have uninstalled the Ifly and FS2004 and re-installed the FS2004 but still nothing happens, I have tried to access the FS2004 through other areas of the computer also, but alas nothing Any suggestions woul…

Hi everyone! I have had this problem for a while now (on both my FS9 and FSX actually) but it's really starting to annoy me right now. Whenever I make a flight my FS window mimimizes on it's own and bringing me back to my desktop. And whenever I try to re-enter FS there's just a black screen. For FS to work I have to start up the tast manager and activate it from there to continue my flight. It's not as big of a deal for FSX as I can simply run it with the window unlocked but whenever I run FS9 with the window unlocked my FPS drop drastically for some reason. When I'm running on full screen I'll easily get 60FPS but when I run unlocked screen I never get above 20FPS. …

Was flying the Parkway visual for rwy 13L (Canarsie approach) into JFK and noticed that there is no Aqueduct race track in my scenery. I am using the FSDT JFK. Does anyone here know what scenery might add the Aquaduct? Or if it's even possible? Just seems very empty flying thru there without that race track being present. BTW, am using Ultimate terrain as well.

On Simmarket there is new scenery for Ngurah Rai International airport (Bali) made by BDOAviation. It looks really nice nice! Has anyone bought it yet? All my AI planes go to the old Bali airport code WRRR, but the in the description for this new scenery they have the new airport code WADD. That may be a problem for me. Is it easy to change the airport code so al my AI continue to use the old WRRR code?

I have three freeware sceneries that have sloped runways (one has a sloped taxiway also). The plane I fly uses the sloped runways fine but my AI planes either sink into or float over the runways (depending on which way they are going). Is there anything I can do so my AI use the runways correctly?

FS 2004 and CH USB 3 lever Throttle quadrant, please could I ask for advice, when I advance my 3 levers on the Throttle forwards to begin the takeoff roll my engines spool down and stop I'm not sure if I need to correct my settings in Assignments or if it is something I need to adjust with my FS2004 any advice would be most appreciated Many Thanks Richard

I know central Africa isn't always the most interesting place to fly around in FS9 (or FSX), though I do have some good sceneries from sites such as www.fsnabisso.com (seems to have gone west now), but surely at least some of the missing major (capital cities) should be covered? Where, I wonder, does one post airport scenery requests? (I did make a couple of airports myself once upon a time, but am not really up to designing one from scratch).Nothing at all is available for Tanzania (one little local airport apart).... did anyone ever find an FS9 scenery for Dar Es Salaam? Payware? I think there is none. Maybe a project for someone more capable than I am?Martin

It always seems to me that one weakness in the 'out of the box' FS9 is the textures given to mountains, like the Alps, Andes, Himalayas and so on. I have bought various texture upgrade packs over the years for terrain and airports, but nothing designed to address this 'problem': I would really like to have more detailed, more realistic mountain textures. Payware would be fine, if it's good, but is there anything out there that would upgrade these textures globally? Googling didn't help, nor a search in the file library here, nor SimMarket... Hi, I newly installed my FS9 system and since days I am trying to register ACTIVE CAMERA (http://www.anticyclone.be) but I do not get a response to my emails. Does anybody know if the company selling ACTIVE CAMERA is still alive? Is there maybe an alternative for FS2004? Important for me: Head shake ground roll and panning in the VC with the mouse. Tried looking on many websites, PCAviator, Virtavia's website etc. and for the life of me I cannot find any of the Alphasim Lightning's. I have the freeware 'F1, F1a and F2, with the early rounded fins, but I am looking for any of the Alphasim Lightning F.6 or T.5 with the later square-tipped fins. HI, recently i have had to do a fresh re-install of FS9, Before re-installing, I made sure that everything was deleted in the FS root dir and also in the c:\User\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9 folder. When starting up FS9 the default cessna has no red LED figures in the Radio stack or Autopilot, The avionics are on. FS9 has been updated to FS9.1 I am using Win7 64bit Home edition. can anyone help? regards, Mark :smile:

Hey Guys, Well I´m having this issue, it turns out that FSDT is not doing any updates for FS9 users anymore (Which its unfair for me cause we also payed money for it, but anyways) since 2013 KFLL changed its runways numbers due to magnetic variation, I wanted to know, since there´s no update, if any of you, by any chance, have an updated AFCAD that can share with us which includes the new runway numbers. I'm downloading an addon on SimMarket which is 1GB roughly. I have tested my connection today at 18Mbit/sec, however the download from SimMarket seems to be capped at 30KB/sec. At this rate it will be 7 hours until i have downloaded the file. I have my antivirus off for the download and other things seem to be working fine so i'm convinced it is at their end. Their server even says only 30% load. My question is has anyone downloaded from here before? Did you have speed issues?

Does anybody know of a place where I can get the RanchoJEN C150, the one with all the original models and repaints eg. Taildragger, aerobat repaints, Reims repaints etc. The original French site fs-tutoriels.com is down and has been for a while, so any help would be appreciated.

1.What is the 4 yellow when clicked becomes 3? 2.If septum manually bugs fuel flow and the bug p7, the 4 green lights engine light up all together even when the engine 4 is at full capacity. Six instead takeoff with various bug set with the take off calculator before the green lights come on engines 1, 2, 3. After the green light 4 when it is operating. Why this difference?

I know there a few topics out there bout this, on other forums too, but I am having a different issue on this one. I got this to work expect for when I turn to the right (only) over about 30 degrees the outboard spoilers come to stop the roll but then stay up after going back to wings level. This does not occur on turns to the right. Any ideas if it is something in the cfg that can be fixed? I have had this issue while using the POSKY CRJ700/900- not on the -200.Any assistance is appreciated.Thanks.
