Hi folks, I have a rather sticky issue with the "seconds" created by TTools while compiling Traffic.bgl out of aircraft, airports and flightplans text files. for example : ,5/11:30:29,5/14:00:26, instead of a neat ,5/11:30,5/14:30, whereby 5 stands for friday and the rest are departure and arrival times, as most of us already know. Although I am able to remove the seconds that take place in most of the flightplans.txt files found here and there, by making use of the great tool "AI Seconds Remover" by Hamish Robertson, those bothersome seconds come back again upon compiling the flight plans and then decompiling Traffic.bgl using TTools. Hello Simmers, Recently I purchased Quito 2012 Ecuador FS9 at SimMarket on line store. Everything with the airport is fine, but a little problem. Aircraft crash at the takeoff at the end off RWY17, 300ft above the ground in the invisible and mysterious building. I tried to reach de developer Borisferero for support with his e-mail link but one this one [email protected] doesn't work and no answer at boris forero home this e-mail [email protected] , and I don't have any answer at this time. Is someone there who had the same issue and if yes, how did you solve it? I would be glad if someone could help me Thanks

Hi, I still use FS9. But I am not too happy with the virtual cockpit gauge update rates (e.g. LDS767). So I heard about the new iFly747 v2. Is the virtual cockpit gauge update rate better with the iFly747 v2, maybe up to date like P3D or XP10 products? Or is the update rate just limited by FS9? Best regards Frank

I remember reading that Milton Shupe had some upgrades and possibly new freeware FS9 aircraft on the way. His site that is referred to in the forum stickies has nothing new that I can find. Is there another way to follow developments?

Hi. I have been trying to merge superb Level D panel with the great model of SkySpirit, Boeing 777-2/300. Most of things function well but have problem with rudder/trim. The plane jumps up and down when I am climbing. Have someone of you solved this problem? I am jusing Level D panel with others planes (QW 757 and Posky 767) and everything works fine, but I am lost with B777.

Looks like Aerosoft is working on an up-to date version of Innsbruck. The very good news about this is that they are planning to release for FS2004 as well!

For some strange reason when I create a VFR flightplan for an AI aircraft it reaches the destination airfield then veers off. I did a search on here and Google but couldn't really find an answer, it isn't the airfield that is at fault because it happens on many more. If I create a IFR plan it works no problem, also no matter what aircraft I pick it does the same, I use TTools by the way to create my plans, any ideas please? 83

I have been using windows 7 Home Professional and playing fs9 about two weeks ago it all worked perfectly, and now I cant open fs9 at all the only updates have been normal Microsoft updates. I have even installed a new copy of fs9 and still cant open it Please can someone help me thanks ron

Hi. I posted about this some years back, but still have some issues. I love the Milton Shupe Dash 7 and after a lot of work with xml files and similar I have it working really nicely in FS9. The one thing that is still not right is that even in cruise flight, I cannot get anywhere near the speed that a Dash-7 should be capable of; with full RPM on the propellers and max throttles, the a/c stabilises at only 170kts on the speedometer. At 20,000', cruising, overspeed would be >230KIAS, according to the instruments. I have reduced the drag_scalar and pitch_scalar values from 1.0 to 0.1 and that has helped a bit. Hi I've recently purchased a new laptop to replace my old desktop that worked great but finally died The laptop i purchased originally had Windows 10 which wouldn't run Fs2004 without a lot of alterations to the setup (I checked multiple boards)r After lots of reading I determined that the best option was to purchase and a copy of Windows 7 and downgrade my system to make FS 2004 run I downloaded it and FS2004 ran (with some alerts that additional updates were required for proper running) I did find out quick that I was going to need a whole slew of updates and drivers as things like my thumb drive and wifi and internet plug wasnt working I took my compu…

Hi Could I ask some advice please Using the B747-4 Ifly with Fs2004 I find when I descend using VS after GS Capture the VS window clears and I cannot set a VS setting for final approach/landing, please could you advise should I be performing any other tasks to attain a landing VS. I am currently on a "retro" kick and have created a series of RNZAF historical eras - 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's etc. (RNZAF = Royal New Zealand Air Force for those of you who have never heard of us! LOL) There used to be a repaint of the AIA 727-100 in RNZAF colors but I have searched and searched for it and can't find it. I wonder if someone can let me know where it may still be available or if you have it, perhaps might be willing to email it to me? I used to have it but that was several FS9 installs ago. Ever since installing EVO2015 from Sascha, that seemed to be the tipping over, in my usage pro-ration of FS9.x time spent in the hobby. I never saw the actual performance, features, etc...as anything less than FSX or P3D. They are all the same. It was the world graphics that had me use (I never stopped using FS9...) FS9 much less, than XP, FSX, and P3D. Now, post-EVO2015 installation, with graphics that truly put, in my opinion, FS9 banging at the doors of 3rdP offerings to use in FSX, P3D (mind you, you need to take into account that the graphics engines are different, etc) and that I feel that EVO2015 (and all latest updates from Sascha) bring FS9 as close as …

When I finish a flight and press 'escape' to get back to the main FS9 window, and then try to launch a new flight plan via a saved .flt file, I often get the following error message:"Flight Simulator is attempting to launch a flight. You must first exit the Flight Plan mode before launching a flight."I have never been able to discover how to "exit the flight plan mode" so that I can start my next flight. Short of closing FS9 (which is what I have always had to do), does anyone know how to do this?Thanks,Martin

Hi guys, i have a problem here that never happen in dubai and doha airport. here is the situation 1) when i load it stuck in traffic 92% more than minutes 2) either when it load it will said ur computer not enough memory so i clean up but yet loading traffic stuck above this two situation is 100% traffic density now: when i set traffic density to 0% it work perfectly fine so i try to take emirates and Qatar AI away as it has the biggest file AI so now i am not sure what solution to solve this and will appreciate with ur help thanks, Jack

Gentlemen, Just purchased Eurowings 2004 A319/A320 from Aerosoft. Big mistake. Now I know why it was so cheap in price. The Autopilot does not display numerical values in the Autopilot; SPEED, HEADING, ALTITUDE or VERTICAL SPEED. The entire areas is just a black rectangle. I have installed the software twice. It seems this product was developed for FS2002 and tweaked for FS2004. I am surprised at Aerosoft for selling this ancient software. Many of the dials etc., are not functional. Does anyone have experience with this product? I can find no patches on Aerosoft for Eurowings etc. Any help or suggestions are welcomed. Thanks, Stanner

First impressions ... as expected vastly superior to either the Blueprint or old JustFlight versions. Disappointment only that no animations are included. This is one airport that deserves them, particularly the elevated tram people movers used at each of the four 'satellite' terminals/concourses. Well worth investigating folks.

Hi Guys seeking some advice I'm trying to land KSFO Rwy 28R Navigraph Chart shows Ils/freq 111.70 / 284 FMC shows 111.70/ 281 have attempted 3 times achieve both LOC/GS Capture approach at correct level however aircraft takes a wide angle final approach attempting to correct on short finals landing pitching wide of the rwy. I descend using FLCH and land with VS not sure if this has a bearing as opposed to using LNAV/VNAV on descent, Also as an aside I always find when I use HDG SEL then later try to cancel this returning to allow the autopilot to control the descent I get the FMC message not on Intercept heading despite being on the FMC Hdg for the waypoint,…

Last night I did a flight and started in Vegas. When taxing to the runway I saw the default ground textures bleeding through the scenery. It was happening at the general aviation parking near runway 1L and the general aviation parking near 19R. Now I never seen this problem before, and I didn't add or delete any mesh in the area (I have FS Genesis mesh). So what could of happened to cause the default textures to bleed through? And how can I fix it?

Hi guys just wanted to seek your expertise on set up and use of V/S just wondered if b747-4 real world pilots would use V/S straight from top of descent, and if so how far would they continue to decsend in V/S and secondly how do they calculate their V/S rate of descent ? Many Thanks Richard
