Hi, I don't know if someone else has noticed and possibly solved a minor issue with Notepad in win7 64. It's something that did not happen in winXP SP3, I used before. I have always thought it looks a bit odd at Heathrow, JFK and so forth to see Cessnas lining up with A380s, B777s waiting patiently (??) for little Piper Cherokees to line up and take off ... never seen it in real life anyway. I am supposing there's no way to do this apart from on a rather laborious airport-by-airport basis? I could remove the taxi links for the GA parking spots, so disabling the GA spots, but that would just force GA to park at the large commercial gates, I imagine. I don't want to remove GA traffic globally, of course... Will I have to edit every airport using TTools, or is there a quicker way I haven't thought of? Thanks.

Hey simmers ! One thing I have always desired to see in FS2004 has been the idea of a tool that converts any traffic bgl file into a UltimateTraffic like timetable in pdf, of course not the whole thing at a time but with options in terms of airport departures, arrivals, and airlines through call sign cached within aircraft.cfg files. I've so far come across ACA2005 only that at least gives out a timetable like file in html format for departures and arrivals of an airport of interest. OK, I know nobody flies FS9 but I do. My old computer took a dump, and I got another one. I am building my FS9 back again, and have suddenly encountered an issue that I can find no answer for. I am NOT too far into the rebuild, but I do not wish to dump and start again.\ So the problem is fairly simple I hope. I run FS9 with sliders to FULL, everything set to MAX. Hello one and all, First post in a couple of years for me as I have been seriously separated from my FS9 computer (it was in Indonesia and I was in Australia) Back into it now and current project (other than learning to fly again) is to create a new charter airline. Name will be Five Star Charter and utilising the FeelThere Phenom 100, Eaglesoft Citation and Ifly 737BBJ3. Ok hi guys,... next weekend, i will fly from paris to new york.. nothing special you might think, but if you see what kinda aircraft i am using, you might be surprised I will fly nothing else than the Spirit of St. Louis. Estimated flighttime: 33hours 30minutes. I can only write down the symptoms as I have no idea what can be happening. I have been flying the PMDG MD-11 and the previous two flights had problems with frame rate dropping from c.60fps to about 10fps, after 2/3 of the flight had gone just fine. I thought I had solved the problem as, when I looked at Process Monitor, FS9 was continuously searching for 'effects.cab' in the main FS9 folder (issue mentioned in a number of threads). I had had this issue before and created a 'dummy' effects.cab file (containing nothing relevant), but the file had disappeared somehow: copying it from backup immediately restored my frame rates to 60... After adding the repaint CFG changes I am unable to save them. I am told to check with my Administrator. But my Account User title shows my name as the ADMINISTRATOR. what's going on? also what do I "save it as" ? I have Windows 7 JGSJW

Generally I have just removed the superseded (yes that is the correct spelling!) traffic file when installing an updated WOAI package. But I imagine there's a fair amount of dead aircraft bloating the aircraft folder by now. Is there an uninstaller which removes obsolete aircraft?

Does anyone know a way to get smooth panning in the VC? That's to say, similar to the way the sim pans in spot view if you open a flight plan (.flt file) with this value: SpotFastTransition=False .. you get a nice 'gliding' pan (continues a very short time after you release the hat switch) rather than the 'bone dry' pan (stops at the exact moment you release the hat switch) that setting the above option to 'true' produces. I'd really like to have the same smooth panning in the Virtual Cockpit, if that is possible somehow... Thanks

Hey! Is there anybody who still knows about all elements needed for setting up the panel of the Fokker according to the beautiful one of Roelof Kruijer? See http://members.home.nl/rkruijer/FSalbum.htm . I have already a lot of these elements that he used to build in, but there is a lot of smaller elements that I don't have, nor do I know how to build them in. Did he possibly somewhere describe which elements and how he had them built in, and does anybody know if that description is still available somewhere? Hi Guys, i am using fs9 and two problem occur one: tds 787-900 crash when i select the aircraft cls 330: after select the plane and start fly, i switch off the engine it went blank and crash i do know what is the problem and it have not happen to me before. why is this happen is because i download a texture and replace the texture to the original tds 787-900 files. it crashed i move all tds 787 files and run cls 330 it crash. so i try tds 787-800 it crashed too i run overland 777 it work fine i would be appreciate if u can tell me the step by step solution thanks, Jack

Yesterday I downloaded and installed Duxford, which to anyone who hasn't visited the real thing, this is the nearest you will get to fly from this famous WW2 airfield. A work of art, thank you. I normally get good frame rates - nice and smooth at 60fps with the PMDG MD-11 at the moment (on my other PC, as I write this on my laptop). But for years, probably ever since I have had MSFS on my PC, I get short periods where the frame rates suddenly drop to just 3 or 4 fps. Perhaps just for 5 seconds, usually no longer than 10 seconds and only every 15 minutes or so. Annoying, but as I mostly fly from the 2D cockpit, I often don't even notice. I have had the same issue on all my various PCs,. Windows XP and Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit and I sort of accept it as an unavoidable evil by now... Hi guys, I recently found some beautiful repaints made by Mark Voigt. I was looking for new paints and he made some beautiful repaints for the FAIB-738 and 739 for Alaska Airlines. These textures are in FSX format and I need to convert them to FS9. Voigt has a simple guide to convert them and he suggests a downloadable program to start with. I actually dont know what program this converting program is. Can someone help me with this? Thanks in advance!

i was wondering if anybody knows where i can download the origionsl fs9.exe and NOT the NO CD CRACK as i have lost mine, just dont want to reinstall everything as it doesnt always reload. if anyone cane help i would be greatful

Hi Folks, Had to reload my machine fully after problems with the Win10 update - yeah - I know - Win10 is not the vehicle of choice for FS9 but rolling back is not an option... Anyway - the Flight1 wrappers for the Dreamfleet products don't work on Win10 - I have posted on the Flight1 forums and was acknowledged by Flight1... They said they would possibly look at it when they get a chance - I'm not holding my breath... Has anyone been able to install a Dreamfleet product on Win10 ??? Thanks... Regards, Scott

I had and enjoyed this program and then my hard drive gave in it's notice a couple of weeks ago. New hard drive, re-installed everything and I can't find DXT fixer. The only site that looks like it hosts the file points me too a 5MB file called torrent.exe. I think I wanna stay clear of that no matter what my virus scanner says. It was supposed to be here in the library but I can't find it.

My second post as a newbie seeking answers from my fellow simmers - do you have World and Mosaic V2? Please advise if it's worth getting!
