Hello again! After several attempts of installing AI traffic automatically with the WOAI installed, I resorted to manual installs. Automatic installs didn't work out since the flight and aircraft files never appeared in the respective FS9 folders, even after selecting the right path (below the "FS2004" target). For some reason, aircraft don't always appear at the gates (no AA traffic at DFW (addon terminal)) until I reinstall. It came to my attention that evey time I dragged the aircraft and flight files into FS9, it tells me that some files of the same name already exist (I always overwrite). Perhaps after I manually install each airline, something goes wrong…

I just found out that Imaginesim has a third version of KATL airport. I dont own any versions of The Heartsfield but I'm thinking now to get me one. I also read some of the reactions of people who have earlier versions of Atlanta and the way Imaginesim treats the old customers of this addon. You have to pay the full price in every way. I understand these reactions, somehow its not fair to the loyal customers (I'm one too (KIAD, KDEN)). My question: do you guys already have v3 of Katl? What do you think? Is it worth that amount of money? Does it perform well?

I'm running FS2004 and using edit voiecpack. While i know that it's not supported anymore I had found a site that had the latest update to edit voicepack done in or around 2006 and downloaded it and it worked great. Well my computer updated and lost it and i didn't save where i found it. Does anyone know??

OK all WOAI a/c are in the FS9 a/c folder with texture folders. All traffic.bgls are in world scenery folder (yes in the right spot). All AI sliders cranked up, AFCAD installed. Still no traffic showing. Of course using the WOAI installer isn't working as i put my main FS9 folder outside of program files and Im using Win 8, so all that pain there. I used to have AI working on here but after I had to completely reinstall FS9, no AI again. I get only a few airlines showing up. I go to KORD at 9am on a Friday morning and only see on Paki Airliner and a few American Eagle planes. Ive tried multiple airports and multiple times of day and week. Not much showing up. Any ideas? Hi Guys The problem is as described in the title, at T2G Orlando and UK2000 Gatwick the AI aircraft taxi with the left or right main gear almost on the grass and the nose wheel off to one side of the taxiway central guide line. Also cuts over the grass when vacating active, checked AFCAD and all seems well, certain I do not have dual AFCADS in play for these two addon sceneries. Any ideas just come back into flightsimming...amazing how much you forget.. Regards Nic

Hi. I just bought Misty Fjords, Tongass Fjords & VancouverX 1.1 (all currently on sale). I also installed the UT patch for Misty Fjords. I noted here though: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/51952-fs9-crash-near-kitimat-cbw2/ that there is an error in the file 0_UT_RR913120.bgl. I have also decompiled it and can see the .mp instead of .bmp. Unfortunately the bgl decompiles to an asm file (which I don't know how to recompile via the FS2004 SDK), rather than an .sca file.... so I have just disabled the 0_UT_RR913120.bgl file. Hi Good People, We (the Ford Project Team) have finished off a Scenery Expansion Pack of airfields for the Ford Tri-Motor Project. It is a package of 4 historical (1930's era) airfields within the Indo-China area known as Manchukuo. Dear Simmers, I am really confused on which SSD I am going to buy for fs9 / P3D. My Options are 256GB SSD 850 PRO SATA 6Gbps 3D NAND Solid State Drive 500GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive Obviously there is a significant difference in price for the PRO, however if the difference of SSD is not too much, I will go for the 500 GB HD ( as it has more capacity.) My Specs are I7 2600K Asus Mobo P877Vpro Mobo, 16 GB RAM, GTX 770 PS any other opinion on other brands etc will be greatly appreciated Thanks Justin

I will be getting all of the France VFR as I am that happy with my purchases with them so far. I wonder how it merges with Switzerland Proffesional (as I have Alps Nord), and I heard Swiss Pro is absolutely awesome.I also have the valle aosta (I have emailed Frank and trying to get the other FS9 photosceneries for Italy he has done and that area) from the file library.The first FranceVFR I purchased was Paris and when approaching (my Simwings LFPG) CDG it looks stunning!!!! Flying from Bangkok to Guanzhou (ZGGG) in the LDS767. Everything in the box but nothing appears in the INIT REF apart from the speeds/flap settings. No runway info or ILS settings at all. No problem I thought - it is probably not an ILS equipped runway. Let myself down through 6000ft and noticed a large airport off to the right. Must be Hong Kong I thought. No, when the ND had me at 800 ft and 1 NM from rwy 03 at Guanzhou I was looking at empty paddocks. Cleaned up and found the airport I had passed earlier and landed safely but is this unusual? it is the first time it has happened to me.Gerry

Hi everyone, I have constantly complaining about problems with my old computer and how things didn't work properly. Well, now I have got a new one and I am still running FS2004, simply for the FPS. However, when I installed it, when I open it, the preview screen for the aircraft is blank! But when I click fly now it simply loads as it should, no problems. I'm wondering if anyone else has witnessed this problem before, as I have scoured the internet and still can't find any answer. My PC specs are: AMD Radeon R6 Quad Core 1.8GHZ 8GB RAM Dedicated Graphics (NVidia I'm sure) Any help would be appreciated. EGNT.

Hey! Good morning! I have a strange problem; my aircrafts do no longer take off.... Since yesterday my Carenado C182 refuses to take off. When flying I use a Joystick Logitec Extreme 3D Pro. When I get a speed 60 knots the nose of the atircraft lifts up automatically, and because speed is not high enough the tail goes down and drags over the runway,producing a sort of firework at its end which is dragging over the runway.... but the aircraft never wants to take off, similar for B737. I have tested every thing possible, calibrating the joystick, try different sensitivity settings, nothing helps. What could be the reason for that? Greetz Jive1 - Belgium

I have never noticed this before! I fly in full screen, BTW, but same thing happens in windowed mode too.. When I unpause FS9, once it is fully loaded, my fps immediately drops. I have the fps locked at 60: at UK2000's Gatwick Extreme just now, flying a PMDG 747-400, AI traffic at 80% and with ActiveSky producing a lot of heavy cloud, I get about 55fps. As soon as I unpause the sim it drops to an average of just over 40. (When I first noticed this earlier today, my heart sank - to put it politely, as unpausing fs9 caused fps to go from about 55 to just over 10! I closed everything down and rebooted, and the drop is now a lot less, fortunately!). That is still smoo…

When flying over Spain i noticed all the airports and lakes are now higher compared to the surrounding ground. I have checked the airport elevation and they are the correct height. it seems the ground is now 3.8ft elevation. some parts are under -ft. this is for default airports as well and lakes i can't attach screenshots to show but if some one can tell me how it will probably be easier to show then describe many thanks matthew davies

I've been using SuperFlightPlanner 3.0.3 to extract all of the navigation aids in FS2004 for many years. Has anyone seen any other way(s) to get an extract of the same information. The reason that I'm asking is that the ETL processing for the SFP extract is not trival, and I'd like it a bit more automated if possible. So if anyone knows of another way then please advise and thanks! Mark

Would like to give a huge thanks to Greg Putz for his just released CYQR 2015 scenery. What an effort of love for his hometown airport and for the FS9 community to give us this airport. Phenomenal work, absolutely amazing, and I know I will be increasing my arrivals and departures at Regina. Many thanks!!

First of all Merry Christmas ! :Four Leaf Clover: I often have the problem while flying from night to day that the interior Lights of the aircraft automatically switch off. It's not possible to make the lights show again (especially the background light of the flight instruments; gauges). Is there an opportunity to make them show longer? Hi Got a new (old) pc, quad core 4 gb ram, and 1gb nvidia graphics card, blew the dust off my fs2004 and scenery/mesh and loaded everything up. Happy that everything seems to be working as planned. Sometime back I got a matrox dual head2go so I thought I would add this to the setup. I am not really sure what I expected to see, but what I saw was the original screen stretched across 2 screens, the guages on the cessna were egg shaped and looked awful. I am no really sure what I expected to see, but it wasn't this. Have I missed the point on what you are able to see. Any comments or info appreciated. Richf.

Hi. I had the demo version for a while, and there was no problem, but as Drzewiecki software is half price for another two days on SimMarket, I have bought the full version of this and of EPWA, Very nice scenery, but having tried several times to fly from and to EPKK, I must conclude there is a problem. FS9 is OK for a short time (I managed to taxi to the gate at EPKK, flying from EPWA - which doesn't seem to have any issues), but then FS9 froze and finally 'stopped working'. There was an error came up in a message box too: "Creation failed. Check if sound file is available". I can't see anything about this when I Google the problem. Anyone else had the same?…

I'm doing a fresh install of FS9 on the new computer It has an SSD mainly for quick bootup, but am wondering if there is room for all my addons if i let fs9 and all the other stuff install there in Program files / microsoft games etc I will be installing O/S is Win 7 (64) 1 FS Genesis Europe 2 Ultimate terrain Europe 3 REX 4 Couple of extreme airports 5 dreamfleet 727 6 Ifly 737 7 ??? Possibly Ground environment I've no idea how much space it will all take up but would have thought it either impossible or very tight Does it all have to be installed in the Programmes FS9 directory ? I have just installed an FS9 freeware scenery I downloaded a few weeks ago. It is CYQR Regina by Greg Putz and I have to tell you all that it is a wonderful package. It's not just an excellent, payware-quality airport but includes also the entire cityscape and a comprehensive AI package of the actual aircraft that regularly fly out of that airport. It's truly one of the best scenery addons I've installed for a long time - and that includes FSX-SE... I highly recommend it, even if Canada is not where you usually fly. It's available in the AVSIM library - it's free - it's for FS9 --what else can I say... Try it!! Ian
