Greetings, Just purchased GE Pro II, and was wondering how many texture sets does anybody have/use ground, and sky??? I know if you create a lot you get more out of it...but I was wondering just how many is enough, or too much??? I created 20 ground, 5 overcast (ground) , 40 sky, and 10 overcast (sky) texture sets. I have plenty of room on my 1TB HD...so I not too worried about space...but is 114GB too much (lol)??? Any Insight would be helpful. Thanks J.R.

HI Good People, The Ford Project Team have created a suite of 7 new DC3 repaints for the Microsoft Default DC3 Model in FS2004 We have packaged up all 7 repaints into one download zip file. Where do you get it............ http://www.ford-tri-motor.net select "Other Aircraft" link and then Select the DC3 Image to get access to all of the DC3 Repaints we have available and at the bottom of that list you will find the Seven Pack which has just been released. Well, I know some of it, but a large part remains a mystery: I wonder if anyone knows of a 'full' explanation anywhere of the settings. For example/starters: [iNTERNATIONAL] ASLAT=2 ASLON=1 MEASURE=0 What do the values 0, 1, 2, 3 mean here and what effect do they have in the sim? It would be so useful to have a document explaining this sort of thing. Thanks.

Hi everyone, got problems with Airport Enhancement Services (AES) from Aerosoft. I am currently using version 2.41, the newest and can't launch the AESHelp config manager to create an intelliscene config for my TDS 787-9 and 737-900. I think this is more of a problem that Oliver could help with but my second problem is I can't find an AES Intelliscene for the TDS 787-9 and the 737-900. And as I said, the AESConfig thing doesn't work so if someone could either make or point me in the direction of one would be much appreciated! Regards, EGNT

Hi, As I am trying to reinstall using genuine CD, the setup stops prompting : "An error occurred while launching the setup. The remote procedure call failed". Anyone else has ever faced it ? EDIT1 : A similar problem with PSS A340 (genuine CD). The setup stops without any prompt. EDIT2 : Neither PSS DHC-300 would continue setup. In all-three cases the "Just validating" phase is missing. Maybe the setup doesn't like the the 64 bit OS ?

Recently I have been spammed by someone touting this. They cleverly change the sending address so bypassing any junkmail filter you might set. What's it about? Has anyone foolishly installed this thing?

Hi Good People, Been a bit quiet lately for the Ford Tri-Motor Project - some major surgery for me last year - several runs actually - but finally fully back on my feet. As part of my convalescence over the last couple of months Edward and I decided to do a scenery pack that would merge into our Ford India Project - a batch of 4 Airfields in Manchukuo and a couple of bridging airfields, one in Saigon and a French Fort airfield called Fort Bayard in lower French Indochina. I loaded Jetblue AI traffic manually into my flight sim but all the aircraft keep sinking into the tarmac. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Hey everyone, So quick question about modifying/tweaking the performance of airplanes: Basically, which file (.air, .cfg, .mdl) has what effects on the flight of the airplane? For example, I have the newest Project Airbus A319 (v2.2) and found it to fly much better than the previous version. However, it doesn't seem that the 320 and 321 have been updated. Would copy/pasting the .air file of the 319 into my 320 models (and modding the .cfg to read as such) allow the 320 to fly like the 319, or is it not that simple? Thanks! Nick

This used to happen occasionally and I seem to recall I knew a fix once upon a time, but it happens every flight now and I can't find the fix, if indeed I had one... The aircraft symbol is FSNav always follows the flight path off to one side (usually right I think) by a couple of miles, whereas the path on the cockpit flight instruments is exact. Why the difference and can I get FSNav to 'close the gap' somehow?

I'd appreciate any views on the best BAe 146 or RJ series, payware or freeware. Many thanks. Dijvid

Hi The POSKY (now called SkySpirit) Boeing 777 - does anyone know how to remove the container loaders which automatically appear when the cargo doors are opened? I much more prefer to have the AES team coming up to the aircraft instead. Thanks Rich

I have a strange problem in as much as I can only operate carburettor heat if the auto_ignition line in the aircraft.cfg file is commented out. But that then stops me starting the engine in the usual way and I have to resort to CTRL+E to start up. Weird :wink: Does anyone have any ideas - no matter how ridiculous - that I might try so as to solve this problem. It is only happening on one aircraft which is Peter McLelland's Bandit turbo conversion of the Dreamfleet/Flight 1 Piper Archer II. Oh! I have tried the usual trick of starting up with the default a/c and flight with no success. Many thanks. Dijvid

Hello, I use FS9 in an external drive. After it crashes my FS9 comes with this psycodelic colours. I changed the video config resolution/color inside FS9 in many ways, but had no result. Also, change to full screen and had to result. Any idea? Thank you. I am of course expecting a 'no', as FS navigator acts as a 'plug in' in FS9, but I thought it worth asking anyway.. just in case. Does anyone know of a way or utility that would allow you (i.e. me) to view an FSN flight plan without having to start up FS9? Just to see the plan on a map is all I am looking for, not to make any interaction with it. Googling didn't help... I could just take a screenshot of each one, in FS9, but I have built up way in excess of 2000 plans now, so that's a bit daunting, to say the least! Thanks.

Does anyone know what the ceiling is for AI in FS9? I have some traffic files with SR71s, U2s etc. and it might be fun to hear ATC clearing them to Flight Level 650! LOL Cheers Ian

My request here is simple. Did SkySpirit do models with Virtual Cockpits like POSKY did. I have the POSKY VC 200ER, 200LF, 200LRF and 300ER all with VC. But i like the few tweaks SkySpirit did to the external lights etc. I read on one thread that somebodey had found a 300ER with VC ....... but i have drawn a blank. Any help appreciated.
