I am thinking of getting NXGN Simulations Tahiti (NTAA) scenery (for FS9). I was wondering how is this scenery? I don't have much if any scenery in this part of the world and this seems like a good place to start. I read the reviews on Simmarket and 1 peson hates the scenery and 2 people really like the scenery. I am hoping to see more opinions on the scenery. I am also thinking of getting Aerosoft Zurich scenery. I already have the FSDreamteam scenery for Zurich and was wondering if there is a difference between the two. If there is a big/noticeable difference I will switch. If not I will stick witht the FSDreamteam version.

My game crashed earlier, and when i tried to back into flight sim, and click select a flight to get back to where i was it keeps freezing, even when i load up a flight and click it from the taskbar at the top, it just black screens. I have deleted the fs9.cfg file and built it back up but still happens. I do have autosave installed but just can't use it. The files are located in the correct place i can see, in my documents, flight simulator files. I have tried running in different compatibility's but still no luck. Anyone else had this? Running Windows 10 64bit Cheers

Hi. No doubt a number of people will have David 'Opa' Marshall's (still sadly missed here) Canaima national Park & Angel Falls scenery installed. I have never however been able to find any water there! If you have more luck than me, could you kindly post the exact co-ordinates. I wonder if having FSGenesis mesh installed is covering it up somehow? I have all the necessary files (including the fx file) installed correctly, I am pretty sure. Thanks, Martin

After 3 years faithfull service my Eclipse Yoke has gone goofy and I cannot dial it in with CH Manager or the Windows calibration feature in FS. I have FS9 and Windows 7. Regardless of auto rudder or not all my planes S-TURN their way down the runway severely and if i survive the takeoff I have to engage the auto pilot. Do these things finally wear out? I fly the sim every night for most of the night. I am an old air taxi pilot in his seventies but not much of a techy

Hello guys Before I bought fs9 I used to fly Fly! and Fly2. And I still sometimes fly Falcon 4.0. In those sims you use the hat switch in a different way than in fs9. If you look forward and then click once to the right on the hat switch, the view is changed 45 degrees to the right (to right-forward view) and stays there even after you release the hat switch. Next click to the right moves the view another 45 dgs to the right etc (to 90 dgs right view). If you want to go back to forward view you must now press the hat switch to the left twice. The advantage of this is that when you e.g. are in a right turn on the final, you just press the hat switch once to the r…

I have one aircraft (an MD DC-8) which has its VC by default set way out in front of the plane - in other words the VC shows the cockpit as a small space a few hundred metres in front of the aircraft. If I zoom in to x4.0 it at least looks acceptable. I can of course just zoom in every flight, but is there any way to set this 4.0x zoom just for this one aircraft in FS9? I am guessing not (searching these forums didn't lead to anything), though you can of course set the 2D zoom in the panel.cfg. [Views] VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM= I clearly don't want to set my default flight with this VC zoom or all my a/c will be affected. Thanks, Martin

Is there a way of doing this, or any software that enables it? I've used AITT2, Traffic View Board and AITA, all of which are useful, but they're limited in regards to what I'm asking for, because they can only tell you departures from planes that are currently on the ground at the airport, and only tell you arrivals when an incoming flight is within a certain radius of the airport. What I want is a full timetable that tells me every departure and arrival at every time. Is this possible?

Every now and then the buttons on my Saitek X52 or Nostromo N52 stop working and more often than not it's nothing to do with the hardware profiles, but because something has reset the keyboard commands in FS9 assignments. I had, for instance, F6 and F7 set to enrich and lean mixture incrementally. Suddenly F6 is still set but F7 suddenly has no associated keyboard shortcut - deleted. Certainly nothing I have done. Just one example of several recently. Any idea what does this? Could be a million things, I suppose. Maybe someone found a culprit though, so I can narrow down my options. Hi all, when I set the VC head movement in FS CoPilot, I can't set the turn movement. WHen this is set, I cannot pan anymore because the view instantly snaps back to forward view as soon as I try. I have tried to find an FSUIPC setting which might cause a conflict but didn't find anything. I don't have active camera. This is really bugging me for some time already, I hope someone can help! Hello good people of the FlightSim community. I have a bit of a problem. I like to use AES and I use the jetways (or airbridges as I am always corrected) but they align to the L2 door, which I don't want it to do. The reason for this is I use FsPassengers which only boards through the main exit door and the main exit door on the POSKY 777-200 is the L1. Anyone know how to get jetways to connect to the L1 door? (other than having 2 jetways) Thanks for any help!

My aversion to buying software which involves activation or any other means whereby control of my use of the software lies with a third party [i have been caught out by this on a couple of occasions in the past] led me to reinstall the CD version of the Flight1/Dreamfleet Piper PA28 Archer II. The CD version generates its own key without recourse to the Internet. I have to say that it's an absolute joy to fly this aircraft. This is something I keep seeing at Chinese airports. A while back after the installation of two sceneries, JetwaysAndTerminals ZSPD (Shanghai Pudong) and FRF's Beijing, after spending a decent amount of time there, texture of other aircraft begin to disappear. At first I thought I must've done something wrong with the newly-installed AI aircraft, but soon enough, all aircraft, and finally mine would become "ghosts" (and the scenery as well I think (not fully confirmed)). Not only that, but I believe this may have contributed to many of my addons losing several of their structures (i.e., cfg's, texture folders, other folders, etc.), so I'm always too afraid of bein…

Hi guyz ! Having upgraded to windows 10, all seemed to work fine with running FS9 except for the aircraft preview window on FS9 main start menu. Been Googling for half the afternoon and although I have seen comments showing others have had the same issues, I haven't resolved any of them: If anyone knows the solutions, I'd be grateful to learn about the necessary fixes. All relate to the original PSS B777-300, not a Posky merge or whatever. In descending order of 'seriousness'... 1. The a/c pitches up and down in cruise flight (and also in descent). Ok firstly I apologise for raising what is in effect a manufacturers problem, but it was reported on the Manufacturers site forum that a fix had been found by GraemeB on this site for this problem. The problem is all the switches and gauges flicker in 2D on Leonados' Maddog, no problem in VC and no problem in windowed mode (which I hate operating in!), the fix was apparently a registry alteration, I've done the one recommended on their site, and also redone it IAW instructions from Davide who is on of their support gurus all to no avail. Been out of flight simming for the past 7 months and just got back into it. My SSD with the OS died and decided to take a break from flight sim. I just got FSX installed and will do FS9 soon. About AFS World and Mosaic, I have the original and absolutely love it. There is a version 2 available now with a good discount for those who already own the original. Anybody get the chance to compare the original to version 2?

I was reading on here about Gary Summons scenery and how much folks enjoyed it (so did I, from his very early work onwards in 2002, I think). The subject was initially his new Humberside, but the chat moved onto helicopters and how they operate in an aircraft environment (they pretend they are planes and land on runways and then taxi to parking spots) and then the bombshell. AI helicopters can be routed via waypoints? Making scenery for Canada and Alaska (both of which can be hilly, to say the least) and with working AI often results in planes heading off into nearby mountains. Routing them to waypoints would avoid this! Anyone able to point me in the right direction?…

I thought to offer this video of PF3 to show a sample of what it can do. I have included lots of other voices for you to compare with those of PF3. For example the pushback crew, cabin safety announcements, cabin flight deck interaction and speed calls etc.. The voices: Personally I hear little or no difference and I would happily say that the PF3 voices are as close to real as one can get. If anyone dares suggest that they are robotic you will be shot at dawn and a blindfold will be provided for a micro transaction fee. I recently purchased LatinVFR's TJSJ scenery (forgetting that TJSJ is included in the World Airport 3 airport scenery I already had installed in FS2004). When I loaded it I could see some disconnected jetways that didn't seem to belong. I contacted LatinVFR thinking this was a case of sloppy programming on LatinVFR's part. It wasn't. Turns out the disconnected jetways belong to World Airport 3's TJSJ scenery. I tried deactiviting WA3's TJSJ which made all the WA3 TJSJ scenery disappear EXCEPT the jetways! I tried simply deleting the TJSJ scenery from the scenery library. Didn't work. Deleting the TJSJ folder from the FS2004/Just Flight/WA3 folder didn't work ei…

For several days now there has been no official aviation wx reports from EFKE Kemi-Tornio airport in Finland. I have checked several aviation wx sites but they all say the same thing. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I assume that ATIS works there but as I'm several hundred miles away from EFKE I can't check this out. Dijvid
