Hi Good People, Long time since my last post on the forums - Had some major health issues for a while but getting over them after several months of rest and recuperation. I am now at a stage in my recovery that Edward and I thought it was time for a bit of light duties starting off with some repaints of the Default Microsoft FS2004 Piper Cub J-3 aircraft. A sad little aircraft for FS2004 that was an important aircraft in aviation history but seems to have lacked a bucket or repaints. I have a few add-on commercial aircraft where the passenger cabin lights only come on when the landing lights are on. Other aircraft have the cabin lights always illuminated or otherwise seaparate from the landing lights.Question is, can the cabin lights be disconnected from the landing lights in some way so they will stay lit when the landing lights are turned off?I suspect there may be a way because I've played around with switching night textures between similar aircraft and found that texture #1 on said aircraft will have cabin lights illuminated without landing lights and texture #2 will not ON THE VERY SAME AIRCRAFT. Hi I have been using fs9 for a number of years with no problem when the other day i was fying the 747 ifly plane when sudenly the program freezed .when i rebooted and started again i noticed i could not get the rudders working ,i reinstalled the rudder saitek pro rudder, it worked on the test but in the fs9 program it did not work .i also noticed when i went into the virtual cockpit it was rolling all the time ,i found out that unpluging the rudder it stoped,thinking it may be a faulty rudder pedals i tried my ch pedals that i used to use , same thing as the other ones i then switched off the joysticks within the program eg disable joystick funcion,still same problem ,i a…

Hi Everyone, I know that we are a dwindling number of fs2004 users, but I hope that someone can help me out with a ctd problem which has recently started occuring. I get a CTD when loading a flight. The progress bar gets to 100%, the scenery and sound loads for a fraction of a second, and then black screen and the message that fs9 has stopped working. This does not happen everytime I try and begin a flight - around 80% of the time. I have not made any recent additions to FS, other than to update my Navigraph databases to the most current versions. I just re-installed my Vnukovo (UUWW) scenery and I am getting what looks like helicopter pads on all my parking areas, Any idea what texture is responsible and how I can remove them? Thank you.

Hi all, I am using for most of my airplanes in FS9 AES for ground equipment. But with the Posky 747 Pax/Combi airplanes it comes with it's own service equipement. Is there a way to turn this off? Thanks for your help! Guy

Upon starting FS, if I go to KMSP, CYWG, KGEG I am seeing summer textures and appropriate type of weather as I should. Without changing anything, just using the go to airport menu, if I then change to KRAP, KSLC, KBIL, I now see winter textures and snow falling. I don't understand why part of the country will show one season and another something else. Anybody know what is causing this?

Is there anyway to permanently change the view in the VC to 60 deg. Defaults to 50 deg. 60 seems more realistic. I know you can change it in View Options, but it changes back with switching views. Hope this is understandable to everone. Paul

Another Boeing! Can't have enough of 'em... Like the TDS 787 the nose is not quite right - this one is *just* not round enough. But once I got it working, not enough to distract from a very nice-looking model. First thing was to install a very nice CFM56 sound package I have, from Steven Persson. Landing light toggle opening rear Door Hey guys, I've downloaded a great 737 2D panel and merged it with another Aircraft. Everything works Flawlessly I've even managed to get the VC gauges to work properly by Entering the VC entries from the backed up Panel Cfg into the newly shared 2D panel's Cfg The problem here is when toggeling the Overhead panel's takeoff/landing light switch to the on position when performing the before takeoff checklist the rear door opens and when switching them to the off position the rear door does the opposite. Hi everyone. I have FS9 and I recently purchased a great scenery by Taxi2Gate for the KSTL airport. When checking my scenery, I realized the AFCAD provided by Taxi2Gate needed to be updated. After spending a few hours to correct gate assignments, based on STL website, I updated the AFCAD that came with the scenery. When I re-opened my scenery hoping to see my new AI Traffic going to its correct gates I was surprised to see that the scenery changed showing what looked like the default scenery buildings re-appeared behind all of the wonderful scenery created by Taxi2Gate. I have the freeware El Formosa scenery found here in the library and when I am at RCTP my sim crashes. The sim crashes at 4:30pm (local time) on Monday. It happens when I am near the cargo area and looking (in spot view) towards the mountains. After the crash I looked at Event Viewer and here is what that said. But I don't know what it means. I'm doing a lot of GA flying in the default B58 at the moment. I have the Aeroworx B58 but I'm on Windows 7 and the reality XP gauges won't work. Aeroworx also have a "Lite" version available fairly cheaply without the gauges, and there is a Caenado model available too, but this doesn;t have a 2d panel but is significantly more expensive. Is the Carenado model much better, is the Aeroworx "Lite" model worth getting or should I stick with default. The B58 does seem one of the better default FS9 planes, are the commercial alternatives worth the expenditure. PLease let me know what you think, especially if you've tried all three. Thanks, Paul

On Simmarket there is Drzewiecki Design Warsaw City 2015 for FS9. Does anyone have it? How is it? I remember seeing that the FSX Warsaw airport scenery they made had problems and UUEE had problems at first, so I want to know how this scenery is before I buy it. The screenshots look real nice.

Hi everyone I have the PSS 757 (bought from Just Flight as 757 Professional) and have decided to reinstall it after a few years without using it. Everything works fine, except for a small detail: every few seconds, my FPS "spike" down - I'm locked at 60 and they go down to 50. This doesn't seem much, but it's enough to cause a noticeable stutter which is very annoying. I've tried with lower fps locks, but the same happens (40 going to 30, etc). I searched around for similar problems and fixes (removing the VC, lower EFIS settings, etc) but having tried them there is no change, so I'm assuming they're not causing the problem. I'm about to reinstall my FS9 on Win 7. I do not own any Flight1 products and wonder if the Ultimate Terrain series would be worth it. They are old by now and expensive. I own 100+ addon airports, mostly payware, and I wonder if there would be compatibility issues with UT. I also do not own any mesh products and no ground texture replacements either. Hey! Goor day! I was building up my FS9 system under Windows 7, and all at a sudden, my AI traffic stopped. There is only a few AI aircraft that cintinue to move, but the far bigger part of the AI aicraft stand still in the airport. I have a few thousend of AI aircraft in my system, almost all from MAIW and/or WOAI.... Is there a limit somewhere on the quantity of AI aircraft that are possible to work, or could it b that some settings must be modified.... The regular settings for AI are all OK since I statrted building up my FS9 system.... Jive1 - Belgium
