I use Radar Contact v4 and I find myself switching back and forth between it and ATC while on the ground for taxi instructions and directions to the gate.Has any one ever figured out how to adjust the volume on ATC, or enable/disable it using a key press or hot key combination?

I have been on the lookout for 737 2D cockpit views...I have the 737 50North aircraft...a nice panel...and no 2D cockpit views... :( I have searched...but can't find any good views.Thanks,Scott

The Airliner XP forum has no new messages since the end of February and it is not possible to post new messages (I get an error when posting). Is this the sign that the project is definately dead? If a memeber of the Team is here, please, clearly state that it is dead or that it will take one or more years for completion, because this is the truth and this way we avoid wasting time everyday going to that forum with the hope to see something new!

One of my B1 Bomber AI flights from KHMN-PMDY doesn't do too well. It seems to lose its response capabilities to ATC direction. She's supposed to climb to FL 270 but instead gradually LOSES altitude and doesn't do a readback. Any feedback on possible cause appreciated. Other B1B flights seem to do ok. This is from the MAIW collection. Thanks

Ive downloaded a scenery add on for St Marys EGHE Isles of Scilly, file name "StMarysFS9.zip" Im missing some textures see photo. It states in the readme file this quote "You will also need the Airport 2 xx textures and the VOD30 textures" can anyone tell me where & what files I actually need & how to install them, Thank You

I was just at their site and they claim Blcok F is out which also includes updates to the original B757.I always wanted to get the 757 but hesitated due to the incomplete pkg but now I might be in.Hope some of you can post some feedback for us before we make a plunge ....ThanksAndy

I'm looking for a nice long-haul aircraft for FS9 and would like some feedback from you all. Here is what I currently own and my thoughts:PSS 777: I "lost" my 777 in their collapse months ago when I reinstalled FS9; even using the backup procedures outlined in the PSS forum below I can't get it to work, but frankly I don't much care because I thought it was a bit of a half-done work. The flight model seemed terrible, the FMC lacked some funcionality, and it was hard on frames. Perhaps I got a bad install and I've considered getting it from JF, but can't bring myself to do it.Level-D: Hands down without question this is THE best aircraft available for FS9. It's just …

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,Years ago I remember there was a small application which could extract all information about a given airport ie all coms, atis, runways, ils, etc and display the infos in a very detailed manner. Could even print the infos. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of this app. Could someone help please?By the way there may be some newer program which give detailed info on a given airport in FS9 any advice would be welcome.Best regards

Using the default scenary in South America I find that airports and some land forms above the surrounding area - like plateaus. Is there a way to flatten(?) the scenary to make it continuous with surrounding land. Thanks,Andrew

Hello,I recently read on this forum about the use of Filemon to discover .cab files indicating FS has a hard time finding files, therefore causing stutters...On my system I found that the majority of .cab files were being created due to FS looking for into the UT folders and looking for the TEXTURE folder, or some file within it, and not finding it. My ut texture folders are empty....is tis why? should there be something inside? Where are the required textures located? should I move them to the UT/TEXTURE folder?Also, I am a novice with filemon, and wonder should i leave the program running for a while while simming, then turning to it in hopes of finding answers? I can not use the space bar in the airport directory/search page. Has anyone come across this, or does anyone know what might be the problem? It sure amkes it tough to go to an airport with two names or a city like Los Angeles. for example I am only ablt to type it LosAngeles. :(Scott

All,I have a strange problem that started tonight. I flew from KCEC to KSFO and saved the flight. I went back in to continue my trip KSFO - KPHX and the sim crashed. So I tried again and again, and it crashed. So I loaded KPHX and the sim loaded. I tried KLAX and it crashed, I tried KSFO and it crashed. I tried KDEN and it loaded. I can slew from Phoenix to LA and it is there but it won't load. What in the world is going on? Did CA finally fall off like they say it will?

Hi All:Is there any consensus in this community as to the "correct" order placement of these categories in the FS Scenery Manager folder?1. Mesh2. Landclass3. SceneryFurther, where should the Main Addon Scenery folder be placed relative to all the other addon scenery folders. Above, below? can someone point me to the location of fs9.cfg in vista 32. I cant find it using search or by going slowly through the files. Is it hidden under vista? Got an OOM the other day, which was the first n a long, long time. So I used Flight SIm Manager to help look for anything wrong. Scenery cfg is numbered correctly, etc. But FSM found 6 missing Scenery Effects. Below is a part of a flight plan (from KLAS to KLAX) generated by FSBuild. I am trying to figure out what to place where in my Level D FMC. I first place LODZY into the TO column on the right. That works. But when I try to place the IDALE2 into the VIA column, it states, "Invalid Entry." Is IDALE2 not a jet way or air way? I found a scenery for Bejaia airport (DAAE). When I went to install it I got a out of memory error. What could be causing this? I have plenty of hard drive space (FS9 is on it's own seperate drive and that drive is more than 50% empty). And after I deleted the DAAE scenery I installed two other sceneries with no problems.

Hi everyone. Got an interesting problem at the moment! After the recent change in DST I have noticed that FS9 thinks all of France is on the same zone as the UK - ie 1 hour ahead of GMT. All other European countries except Portugal (as expected) are 2 hours ahead as they should be.I am using Joshua Robertson FSRealtime zones and never had any problem before but he did mention once that FS9 may take a while to properly catch up with the changes.Any thoughts would be appreciatedJohn

I've been using Ultimate Terrain Europe for a long time now. I bought it right after the Eastern Europe patch was made.Generally I'm a big supporter of the idea and quality UTE presents.Flying over exact roads, rivers, lakes and shorelines is both enjoyable and educating. HelloI am a volcano fan.Sometime ago there where some effects files that added eruptions to some of the worlds volcanoes,these effects seemed to try to show actual eruption activity,and i was just wondering if it would be possible not to try and show spectacular eruptions,but just smoke drifting from some of the summits?a lot of active volcanoes often do have a just a gentle stream of smoke and steam coming from them without there necessarily being a big eruption.Now theres a challenge for somebody.cheers Andy
