Hello! I' m going to create new repaints for the Wilco Airbus series and Boeing 777-200. But it's my first time doing one. Can someone provide me steps on how to do it?

I would like to add another dimension to my flying experience and need recommendations for a good ACARS. A while pack I used to use FS Flight Keeper, but it has a few bugs. FSPassangers is much more complex of an addon, I guess I could go there. Are there any other ACARS type addons that you would recommend for logging flights, performance, analyzing weather, etc?Thanks!

Hello ThereOccasionally as i am barrelling down the runway for takeoff the aircraft will takeoff by itself.This is a rare occurrence but i was wondering if anybody else has experienced this.PS trim seems okay and i only fly passenger aircraft ie the usual culprits 737s Airbus etcRecently it has happened with IFDG Airbus and FFX/VISTALINERS 737/300.cheers Andypps I always try to have fuel and payload at correct settings to.PPPPPS its not something to do with the wings unfold thingy is it?

The recently released AVSIM review of the Wilco A330/340 package makes interesting reading. Despite a few caveats the review is quite favourable in marked contrast to the long and largely scathing thread in this forum a couple of months back. So as an A340 fan what am I to make of this? I am very keen to add an A340 to my virtual hanger but I was put off by all the negative comments regarding the Wilco offering and the lack of a comprehensive FMC in the CLS version. But now that the dust has settled somewhat and in the light of this review should I reconsider the Wilco A340? Thanks.Bruceb

Im looking for a very good add on that has flight crew announcements so I can have realistic airliner flights.I dont care if its automatic or manual,but I do prefer it to be automatic.Is there any planes in the downloads section that come with flight announcements,or any good payware addons that come with alot flight announcements ?

I am using AlacrityPC and I start the program autower.exe before I start FS9. The problem is that when autower starts it changes my screen resolution. Then when FS9 starts it uses the autotower screen resolution. I read somewhere that FS9.cfg can be locked so that no changes are allowed. Does anyone remember how to do this?Thanks!Airbus

HeyDoes anyone know a fix for the Meljet 777 center of Gravity being too far forward? This really stresses me as the aircraft will not cruise level. Also does anyone know what has happened to the Meljet website. Please let me know.Thx

Hi All!I recently did a complete format and reinstall of Vista Home Premium and FS9 along with my aftermarket addons. Since then, I've encountered a weird experience in FS9 with duplicate AI flights and aircraft. I was enroute from CYVR to CYYC and had Westjet B737 infront of me on Flight 210, and right behind me I had another Westjet B737 on Flight 210 as well; both with the same departure and destination and flightplan. I thought it was just a glitch until lining up for my approach at Calgary when I noticed all the GA AI was duplicated; 2 Cessnas flying 6 feet or so apart, etc. Since then, all AI is now duplicated in the sky and on the ground.I've uninstalled Ultimate T…

Hi all,Does anyone know what has happened to the FSD International web-site ?It has been unavailable for over 24 hours.I wanted to extend my GA collection with some of their fine aircraft but it seems their site just doesn't exist any more! (hopefully a temporary problem!).Their site is normally www.fsd-international.com I can't find any other new alternative site.I hope this is not another developer which is falling from the scene.David

Hello everybody! I wonder if there is any way to correct the date MSFS 2004 changes seasons. By default it's April 17th (for Russia, at least) and if you fly over Moscow before this date you'll see it covered with snow. Which is rather funny having almost summer weather outdoors :)It should be a single line in some configuration file, I suppose... It's quite strange, btw, that these season textures doesn't depend on Jeppesen real-world data, the snow is sure to melt when it's 15 degrees centigrade.

Is there any freeware aircraft of the Red Baron's plane from WWI? I haven't been able to find one.

There is a tool that changes the time that AI traffic will stick around before they timeout and disappear while waiting for takeoff..anyone know what utility changes that?I had it before and lost it on my rebuild.Thanks!Mike T.

I've always put Ultimate Terrain USA as number one in my scenery settings for FS9 and airport addons (Fly Tampa/Imagine/Megahubs etc) below UT and have never had an issue (except the known problem with SimFLyers KPHX).However, I noticed at Fly Tampa KSEA that the aircraft bounces heavily on the apron and taxiways. I asked another pilot (VATSIM) if this was unique to KSEA and he said it could be fixed by putting addon airport scenery above UT. The title says it all: I am looking for a way to fly an A340-500 in TAM colours in combination with the A340 panel by PSS.Trouble is:- PSS has the panel, but no A340-500 plane- CLS has an A340-500 plane which I can merge with the PSS panel, but I couldn't find a TAM repaint- Overland has an A340-500 and there are repaints in TAM colours, but can I merge that plane with the PSS panel?Thus, if anyone can tell me either:- where to find a TAM repaint for the CLS A340-500- or if it's possible to merge the Overland A340-500 with the PSS panel (when I say "merge" I am aware that the weights in the FMC will be off, but everything else should work smoothlessly)then I'd have what I…

Hey FolksQuick question here. I have begun to install some World Of AI packages however have noticed that certain airline packages are available for certain seasonal schedules only, ie Summer 2007. Is it possible to mix packages with different seasonal schedules? If so, what would happen if two different airlines had a flight scheduled into a given airport at the exact same time? Does the built in ATC take care of these issues or does it replicate the AI schedule verbatim and lead to traffic problems?Thanks in Advance.Liam

Does the Level D 767 have Weather Radar? On the LevelD website it does not mention it. I believe it has a realistic TCAS system?

I've posted this topic in the past and I am still unable to rectify the issue so I thought I would give it another try. I am consistently getting a d3d9.dll error when I start up FS9. I find myself having to restart my computer up to 4 times before I can start FS9 without the error. I re-installed Direct X and have tried other suggestions posted here, but still the error occurs. Is there anything that anyone can suggest in regards to this problem. Thanks in advance.Scott

Hello AllOn the strength of Paul Scarratts 737ng panel i decided to try his classic analogue panel (737/300)whilst this is a very nice looking panel which i spent a long time adding all my favourite gauges to,when it came to a test flight i found some little niggles ie i could only start the engines with the old shift E method,there where no avionics or pitot heat switches and there was no kneeboard icon either(i presume i could add the switches from other aircraft)I was wondering if any body else uses this panel and what you think about it,maybe someone has customised it to add the missing switches/gauges.cheers Andy

HiI bought new headset with mike (Sennheiser).They are much better then my old , but know in FS9 especially when sound is louder, I hear in regular interval something like static discharge sound, crackling.When I do dxdiag test, everything is OK. Sound is clear. But in fs9 especially with for example jet engine sound (TSS CFM56) I hear this crackling sound every few seconds. When I reduce quality of sound in FS9 to medium. Ive recently downloaded the AIG Boeing 757-200 Non-winglet Model, in the readme file there is a secondry aircraft.cfg file, for those who have the Exhaust smoke & Shockwave strobe/light effects, can anyone tell me where I can get these effects please, Thank youFound them!
