I seem to remember seeing a modification that would allow tail wheel steering on the DC-3...(I have the MAAM-Sim version)...I have searched everywhere but can't find it...Can someone guide me to it? Thanks...Steve in Kansas

O.K., I'm a little confused here. If you are having a OOM error, does it manifest it self as a simple crash to desk top or is there a specific error message followed by...? In other words, how can you tell if your CTD error is a OOM issue?

Hi guys,Is there any modification we can do inside the "aircraft.cfg" file of Piper Archer II from Dreamfleet in order to reduce the turning radius of this bird on the ground (while taxiing).I find it less handy compares to the other aircrafts of its category.Thanks.

I wonder if anyone can help me?I set the AI taxi speed for runway vacate to around 35-40 knots but I cant say that I have noticed a difference in the speed and time it takes for my AI to exit the active runway. I am using the latest Ken Mitchells panel for the IFDG A320,which is a superb combination.The problem I have is that the autobrakes do not function, although the brake symbol comes on at touchdown(but does not go off when manual brake is operated),there is no retardation.I have tried an earlier version of the panel and this had the same problem.Anyone had a similar problem or am I missing something?RegardsMike

Hi, for those who have Wilco Citation XI'm having trouble executing the VIP animation. What I do is load the plane at any gate at Heathrow (aerosoft one), then slew the plane to the area with the red carpet, which I can see. I then go back into normal mode. I then open the exit and then tune Nav2 to 117.50, but nothing happens. Does anyone knows what I am doing wrong as the manual is pretty much hopeless.Thanks

Hi!I have recently got problems with my FS9 both environment andaircraft textures which are very slow in loading.I have to "refresh scenery" sometimes several times to makeit come out right.As far as I know nothing is wrong with my video card, drivers,or anything.Help and advice is very welcomed.Thanks beforehand....Hans HermanssonSweden

Is there an add on to add the Lead-in Lights for the 13L/R approach at JFK? When I searched it up I could find the lights for FS2002 and FSX, but not for FS2004.

i can't seem to use the zoom when recording external views. it staysin one zoom range and will not zoom in or out. this is in the tower and spot view. seems to be disabled for some reason...works fine though if i'm not recording. any ideas? william

I downloaded the Cloud9 phantom as Id heard that it was supposed to be really good & yes I have to agree, now obviously its a Trial version of which you have to buy; you get 6 minutes then FS9 closes itself, I have tried uninstalling this product but after I have done this via the CORRECT procedures when I try & start FS9 it now says: "Aircraft Initialization errorAA configuration"FS9 then crashes! upon reinstalling the Cloud9 Phantom, FS9 works perfectly, uninstall via correct procedures-same message & FS9 crashes, any ideas how I can sort this out without having to buy the Phantom?

Can anyone explain exactly what the problem is when, using a number of aircraft/panel combinations, avionics switches itself off just before or just after take-off?This is usually put down to "FS9 battery problem" in forums (as far as I can see). But why doesn't it happen with out-of-the-box FS9? And, moreover, how come I never experience it with a/c like PMDG's 737s and LVL-D's 767?I have just wasted some hours trying to fly an 'enabled' default MD-83 (changed air file so it is flyable) with what is supposedly a very good MD83 panel. Though the a/c flies, the cockpit instruments and ATC always fail after 10 minutes or so.I tried a supposed 'fix' from AVSIM file library, …

Finally got the screwed up landing gear problem fixed (what an ordeal) and she sits perfectly on the tarmac. 2 questions though:1. plane is burning 8k pph sitting idle with engines OFF! I'm watching the fuel indicator and she's eating it up at a dead stop with no power? WTH? 2. Aircraft also 'skates' across tarmac ever so slightly, especially during startup. It's almost like slewing, but wheels are firmly in contact with ground. I guess these aren't huge problems but I never see it on any other aircraft. Anyone else notice it? Does anyone know of a program (or some hardware) for switching up yokes/joystick without having to unplug them? Here's what I have; a Saitek Pro Yoke system (for Boeings, etc.) and a Forcefeedback (for Airbuses, etc.). I'd like not to have to constantly plug/unplug them from their USB ports and switch over when I go from one type to the next. A little program that would null one and activate the other would be perfect, or even a hardware switch. Any ideas? Thanks.- daniel

Hi Gang,I have a little problem in FS that I could use your help with.Ok.. I installed a utility called FS-eXcel, it's supposed to change the sky, water, ground, runways, lights, taxiways and building textures. The screen-shots looked good and worth installing to have a look. After installation I loaded up a flight and to my surprise it was pitch black at mid-day!?! I uninstalled and told the installer to reinstall the defaults again.. no problem, I would just reinstall my FE and GE textures real quick, and for good measure I reinstalled 3D lights Redux to be sure I got my light textures back. All is good in FS land again... except that now the spotlight textures that s…

This has happened times before, but with this most recent incident I am fed up enough to enquire about it:I was trying to look around the IGFly Domodedovo when the textures would not load. Yesterday, it was fine. Loaded fast, no frame impact, and the textures were up in a second. Today, it took 10 minutes just to load the airport, and another 40 to load the textures. I wouldn't be as angry, but when I changed views, the textures unloaded (leaving everything grey), then took 20 minutes to reload. I started moving along the taxiway when the textures unloaded again. I got fed up and quit after 10 more minutes. What happened? It worked fine yesterday. This is the kind of stuf…
