Lots of abbreviations there, sorry...I want to fly some of my PSS jets into Dragon9's Kai Tak. In their package, they have provided entries for PMDG planes, but not for PSS. Is there anywhere I can download the FMC data for Kai Tak that works in PSS' FMCs?Thanks

Good day all,I have a question for anyone that has the updated 777s from Simmer's Sky/Overland. As a current owner of the FS9 version, is the 777-200LR update free, or does one have to re-purchase the entire package in order to have it? Having paid a rather pretty penny (albeit for both Airbus and Boeing), I wouldn't want to go through that again just for the B777-200LR (I'm very satisfied with the current versions). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

This may be a stupid question, but I just bought an ATI HD3870 card, and I'm only going to fly FS9. Should I be running Direct X 10? Will FS2004 even run under DirectX 10? I have Windows XP Pro 32 bit.I'm currently running DXv9c, and I think I have it running OK now but the card has been kind of "squirrely" ever since I got it, requiring a lot of tweaks, driver reinstalls, etc. I've searched the forums here and can only find references to DX10 and FSX, or FS9 in Vista.As always, thanks in advance.

This looks like a good flight planner, but like FS Navigator it looks like it's about to leave us. I don't see much going on with it for the past couple of years now. I like the idea you can get trans-ocean tracks and that you can export plans to FS Navigator which is still my planner of choice. I had thought you could do this FS Commander but it seems you can't and that's a disappointment.FS Build is relatively inexpensive. Should I take the plunge?

Guys, I recently purchased this airplane because of its good looks and what looked like real high quality. Since buying it, I've had a couple of issues i wanted to see were common to others as well.1. The airplane doesnt show up well in the preview window in FS9. The fuselage and propeller are incompletely rendered. Looks like what I used to see with older FS2002 airplanes when ported into FS9. Is there a fix?2. I have yet to be able to get this airplane to do anything but stall (badly) in the vertical. I cant loop it or do a split S without stall moving to flat spin of death (unrecoverable.) Apparently Carenado doesn't like to answer e-mails. I have both the Mooney and bonanza. Both planes, from the virtual cockpit, the view out the windows is a green color and no view. I have vista premium 64 and an Nvidia 8600 gt and running Fs 2004. if anyone has any thoughts on this problem, I would appreciate hearing them.Thanks!

This is one add-on I'm definitely looking forward to get - the Fokker 100 from Digital Aviation. They have already released the high quality aircrafts DO-27 and PA-31 and it seems as if the Fokker 10 was sent to Flight 1 for packaging the other day! I also placed an order for the Fokker 100 DVD from ITVV so I definitely know what my brain cell will be occupied with soon. It will be a nice break from the systems logic of all the excellent Boeing birds we have available and will hopefully soon be followed by the PMDG MD11. The Russian birds are too much for my poor cell...

This is something I really cannot explain - and it's driving me mad: my FS works fine as long as I "simulate" darkness - but when switching to daylight, FS crashes! It simply doesn't like sunlight.I've tried this with and without add-on weather, I have removed the latest scenery add-ons that I had added, I've tried it with and without AI traffic... it's the sunlight!!What could the cause be? How can I fix this?When I had the same problem about a year ago I had to do a full re-install. I'd really like to get into flying a complex airliner in FS2004 like the Boeing 737 but I want to get the one with the best vc, not just in terms of functionality, but a vc that makes you feel you are really in the cockpit. I have looked at reviews and screenshots of some of them but, without actually buying them all, it's difficult to make a judgement! In todays advancments in our flight simulator world :) Im certain there is a way to install a nice weather radar from somewhere to lets say the PMDG 737 or leveld sim. Anyone know of any good ones out ther that install fairly easy. It's really the only thing im missing to get me into full immersion. I have the activesky weather radar but i would rather have one that is always visible instead of having to bring it up when needed.Any help would be great. Thank you

I've been searching for this problem in the forums here on and off for 3 or 4 days now and I can't seem to find the right terms to search for.Can someone tell me why my ground textures would pop white for about 1/2 a second, and then load properly, and what I can do to stop my system from doing this? I have ultimate terrain USA, Canada and Alaska, the FSG patch and QLRP4UT, all properly ordered in the Scnery Library. I have not done any hardware tweaking as of yet.Thank you very much, folks, for any help.

I recently installed FS France Real CDG v3.1 and after adding it to the Scenery.cfg started up FS and re-located from KSEA (or so I thought) to Paris, Charles de Gaulle, LFPG. I immediately noticed, that it took longer then normal after FS went through its motions building new data base files etc. to load the LFPG scenery. After approx. 5 minutes I finally ended up at the cargo ramp at CDG.Since I re-located from KSEA during the day I ended up in Paris at night the following morning, I switched to spot plane view and immediately noticed that some of the buildings as well as the aircraft textures (default C172) where missing/not rendered properly (white). Since FSNav isn't any more :(, i wanted to find out about the aircraft.ini. I go in and edit/delete, add aircraft and save the file. Later on I go back and find it is back the way it was. The aircraft I deleted are back in there! I only use about 8 aircraft but when the file restores, there's about 40 or so. I'm not sure why it's reverting back. Luckily the edits I make to my personalized aircraft remain intact, but I have to go back in and delete the others. Thanks for any info.

hiI am not a regular message poster on here but I would really appreciate some advice. I was flying happily a few days ago but now I can't get the sim to run. I insert the disc, double-click on the fs9 icon and the splash screen shows for a couple of seconds and then disappears. I tried to uninstall it but it said the uninstaller shortcut was missing. I am a good sim pilot but not good with my pc unfortunately! I really hope to hear from someone soon, I have no clue what to do and would love to get it running soon.Thanks for your help, Iain

Hi all,Been searching frantically on the hope if I could find some info with graphics especially where the cockpit is concerned.I've purchased the Abacus Boeing 787 Dreamliner and installed it no probs whatsoever. Trouble is, the cockpit graphics hence instrumentation and hud display are very distorted. All my drivers are uptodate but I'm using a 19" widescreen monitor at 1440x900 resolution so all is stretched to cope with the widescreen set-up. Any one getting good results with multi monitors and the 'new' nHancer settings using a Matrox DualHeadToGo, or even a 3THG? I can't get AA to work at all on ANY of my 3 monitors, even though I follow the directions from these forums EXACTLY (copy nHancer FS9 profile, modify new, delete, etc.). It seemed to work for a minute, but then my 2HTG monitors suddenly self-adjusted to some messed up resolution setting, and I had to install the Matrox Desktop Software to get it/them back to 2560 x 1080. Hi,for some unknown reason the tree density has changed on my install. where there once was wood, there are now groups of trees. the appropriate slider in "options" is well at the maximum, so there must be a hidden option somewhere else in one of those config-files, which governs the density of the autogen trees. does anyone know that option ?any help appreciated. i hope this is the right forum :-)thankssinzov
