So here is one of those moments that you just cherish with FS...11 hours 10 minutes total, 10 hours 20 minutes Flight time. PSS T7 w/ FDC and PFE from Imaginesim KEWR to the phenomenal Freeware LLBG with Tel-Aviv Photo real scenery and objects passing UTUSA and UTE along the way and following myself on a seperate machine with a 24 inch monitor and FSEarth. Departed KEWR in pretty Overcast conditions but was pretty uneventful with 100 kt tailwinds most of the way. I got to see a beautiful sunset fading from blue into a Pitch Black night over the Atlantic. I've downloaded and installed Bob Chicilo's 2 updates to the old FS9 Alphasim SR71A Blackbird (freeware) but when I try to fly the a/c it crashes FS9 to a MS 'call home' prompt. The original Alphasim a/c (from the Alphasim downloads site) runs fine (except it has no functioning cockpit or panel) so I think the problem must be with the update files from Chicilo. Some of the update files are xml files and may really be for FSX instead of FS9, but I'm not sure. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.tnbriggs

I love the Learjet 45 and am decent at flying it but the stock LJ45 from Microsoft kind of sucks...there are 2D and 3D panels on the market that are eons ahead of the MS standard. They also have all kinds of cool functioning systems.Does anybody make a commercial LJ 45 that you could recommend? I'll pay for it if it's good. If nobody has it then maybe recommend another business jet of comparable size and performance.

What amazes me is that through all these years they just trundle on no matter how they're stepped on - I'm impressed :-hahI suppose the candy man CAN after all.regards,Mark

Hello,is their a way to delete all the taxiway signs of the airports?I deleted the Traffic Sign.bmp in the texture folder and it works but only when its day. When it is night their are still the white ploygons viewable, without the the bitmap.How can I delete the taxiway sign?Many many thanks for any helpable answer!best regards!

Whenever Emma Field came out which I think it was 2002 with an update/upgrade in 2004.I bought both programs from them and have since lost the files somewhere. I just downloaded a great scenery for beijing which includes the new terminal. It looks great except there are little trees all over the jetways, ramps, and runways. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem. It's a great scenery but the planes parking on top of trees kind of wrecks it. I took out all the textures that mentions trees but it didn't work. I don't want to mess around too much with it so can anyone offer advice, thank you

Below 10,000 feet maximum speed limit (air traffic rules) is 250 knots. Whenever I descend below 10,000 feet I pay attention to that but does the rule apply to takeoffs as well? My Boeing 727 has a normal climb speed of 300 knots. Obviously I would like to establish 300 knots as soon as I get off the ground so I have an efficient climb...Would that violate the rule?

Hi,Anyplace I can get flight plans for other countries outside US and Canada? I use FlightAware which is really good for domestic stuff, but international seems harder to get. Thanks for any info.

Hello everyone,I'm new here so please excuse any newbie mistakes. I recently re-installed FS9 on my puter, and I noticed whenever I try to fly from TJSJ(peurto Rico)or St marteen the sim starts loading then half way loading it kicks me out or crashes to desktop. Hey guys, i have this airbus series vol.1i have updated its navdata to AIRAC 0803, now the problem iswhen i try to input any flightplan and insert any STAR (particularly on my flight TO RPLL)i see nothing! no Runways and sid/STAR in it.

Recently I am having issues with my textures. Here are some of the issues.Water textures - water / wave crash along the shore are now rectangular white blocksSmoke - No touchdown smoke anymore, just "clear" squares that fly away and cut out the transparency of the aircraft. Contrails - Flat 1D type contrails, no longer look like smoke. But flat white panels of smoke.Dirt - If landing in the dirt, there is no "dirt spray" anymore, but the same clear transparent squares that fly away in place of where the smoke would be.I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could help me.I have a high end PC, so it's no graphics card issue. 3.6 intel core duo processor 2gb of ram. Hallo everyone!About 5 weeks ago I had downloaded this *brilliant* freeware Boeing B-29 Superfortress. It had a full-on highly detailed VC, wingviews and you could even crawl around the inside to different crew stations. At KBOS, we have 2 sets of parallel runways 4/22, 15/33 and an odd runway 9/27.When I set up my "star" runways to make them all active I started with 4/22 and did my calculations up through 15/33, making 15L/R/33/L/R the last entries on the list. I also figured 9/27 into the caluculation so I did 4/22 up to 9/27, then started calculating from 9/27 up to 15/33. Not sure I should have done it this way as ATC assigns runways WITH the wind rather than against. Today winds were 223@12 and ATC assigned runways 4L/R through 15L/R which is opposite what it should be given the wind speed. I had set up this system backwards before making 4L/R the last entries or the 'determini…

Hope this is not a repeat, but after exiting FS2004, desktop icons are scrambled and moved towards left side. Using small icons w/grid lock. Not a killer but a blamed nuisance. Running XP w/all updates and SP. Custom wallpaper background on desktop.
