Hello all,I am experiencing a boxy "platelike" effect with the coastline between Le Touquet and the Antwerp basin,but nowhere else, I am rather puzzled, as I have made no scenery alterations in the area, could it possibly be a missing or corrupt file?Could anyone tell me which are the FS9 common files for coastlines, are they in the scenery folder in EURW.Thanks in anticipationMike

Dear All,A piece of advice please.I would like to know what the best panel (freeware or payware) for the Boeing 767-400 in FS2004.As you probably know, the Boeing 767-400 uses the 777 type of panel rather than the 763 panel.Best regards,Peter

Is there a Way to edit the Air file for the PSS A340-300. I merged the PSS Panel with the Overland Model and now it fly's between a F-16 and a Boeing 737.also the same with the A320 with the merge as well.hope you can helpI merged the PSS Panel with the Overland Model

Hi After a lot of shopping around I have deceided to buy a Samsung T220 Wide-screen TFT. My question is ( and it may sound like a dumb one) is what screen resolution should I set FS9 to. The spec on the Samsung offers a 1680 x 1050 resolution. Also, do I change the settings within FS9 or via Nhancer or the video card itsef. I am using a Nvidia 9800GTX+Many thanks Tristan .

Anyone know if there is an addon that would put tie downs on, I would like to have tie downs on my cessna. I don't have any idea how to do it but someone might. I had a plane once that had them. When I applied the parking brake it would put tie downs. It was neat I can't remember what plane that was. Don

Hi, I've just recently re-installed fs9. I have some modified fx files in the effects folder, so, as I've previously done, I first removed them, along with one aircraft cfg. and put them in a folder outside fs9. After re-installing fs9 I can open the aircraft cfg. in the spare folder, in order to copy the entries, but can't open..copy..or move any of the fx files. All I get is..Access Denied. A couple of zip files in the same folder also give the same message. I don't understand whats going on. Any advice would be more than welcome.Russell.

Hi !I installing and than reinstalling a lot of Megascenery, and than FS9 refresh scenery library in every gamestart, and therefore the loading time increased. I deleted all scenery.dat files, overwrote scenery.cfg with fresh one from FS9 CD, uninstall freeware Canary Islands, because this cache scenery files to the documents folder, but nothing changed. Please help someone with any idea .

I have saved up all my pennies and have purchased a new system running Intel® Core i7 cpu 920 @ 2.67 GHZ w/ 6 GB of RAM on 64 bit system w/ vista. Now this is light years from my previous system and over the years I have read there has been some difficulties with vista. So if someone could redirect me to a source so I can safely reinstall FS9 I would really appreciate it. Thanking you in advanceRichard

I'm waiting for my new computer to be placed under construction hopefully this week and I'm going to just move my HD with all of my FS9 files over to the new computer. I just got done doing a defrag, deep virus scan, and other things too. The new computer will be running Vista 64 and the old drive has old XP 32 on it. I wonder if I can just do a plug and play or just move stuff to the main storage (FSX Drive), format, and place it back in the original HD after a fresh install.

I keep having problems with the iFly 747-400. When I engage the vertical speed hold switch in climbs, the altitude switch disengages and vice versa. Is there anyway to keep this from happening?,Thanks

Just wondering if anyone has encountered any issues on Windows Vista.FS9Not a clean transition between Full Screen and Desktop, sometimes what I can only describeas "ghost" or old FS9 start up pages appearing in background during transition to Desktop as well as an awful lot of flickering. Also black screen while trying to access FSUIPC interface in full screen mode. OK though if in windowed mode.B737PIC WilcoClimbing very slow under LNAV/VNAV (FMC programmed correctly) - Never had issues on XPSometimes CTD when entering/altering data on FMC.Not sure if the above is something being commonly experienced by Vista 32 users or if it could besomething to do with my Nvidia driv…

I would like to buy and use the Go Flight "Corporate System" (www.goflightinc.com)set up (hardware) to fly the Flight One's Aeroworx X-treame King Air B200; (for Fs2004). I fly it in FS2004 with a computer running Windows XP Pro ( 32bit). At present it runs good with Saitek's Yoke, Throttle and Pro Flight Switch Panel. I'd like to upgrade to the Go Flight's "Corporate" Floor Standing Unit ( priced @ $2000 for ID perposes). Is anyone using Go Flight gear to fly the B200? I'm a total newbie with an old PC and both FS9 and FS2002. I want to experiment with modifying structures and scenery for both versions of FS so want to see what Lee Swordy's AFCADs can do for me. I've scoured the Web and found/downloaded both afcad221.zip and afcad140.zip.Are these the files I need to get started with both of my versions of FS?Thanks, Mudhen

The Panel Switch window manifests itselt at the top Centre of the Cockpit. You can 'drag' to anywhere you wish.However, I would like to place it at the Top R/H Corner of the cockpit windscreen and have it stay there. :)I did this with the PSS B772LR. But after a HD reformat I 'lost' my information on how to do it. I lost the PSS T7 as well, hence the JF version, which, I hasten to add, is just as good, if not slightly better, in my opinion.Would someone kindly advise me how to move the Panel Switcher permanantly?Ken

A number of the sessions advise adjusting ones frame rates-fps, depending on which FS version you use, to 25fps or less, as it can affect the host server.Where do I find my frame rate settings to adjust them if necessary? HiI have upgraded my graphics card recently and would like to know if I should rebuild my fs9.cfg file by renaming my current one and restarting fs9 or can I just type in the new card directly into the fs9.cfg file?RegardsMike

Finally I was able to re-install a second FS9 on my PC.I have calibrated the Flight Yoke, I would say about 25 times, everything is fine except, I cannot make the front wheelturn in either direction, I don't use the rudder, I just use the flaps, but I was able to turn the front wheel like you would turn your car, left or right before this happened.I put a racing game that I have just to make sure that the Yoke responded to turning the wheels and it did with no problem.I know you guys know everything about FS in general, can anyone help me?Thanks,Henry

On the SimMarket pages they have prices list without VAT, what is VAT? (or what does VAT stand for?) I haven't bought anything from SimMarket in a while and I don't remember.

Pardon if this has been addressed already. I know there is a payware program that will allow you to convert aircraft to FSX, but is there any way to manually convert FSX aircraft to work with FS9 without the purchase of a special program??

HelloI am trying to find an addon that puts a flying runway into fs2004. I thought i'd seen it in the download libraries here in the past, but I can't find it . I've done some googling and searched other major sites but haven't had much luck. I found a video of it . If you know where I can find this, I'd appreciate it if you can let me know. Thanks. :(

I wonder if anyone can offer me some advice.I've installed FS2004 on my Dell Dimension 5100 PC (P4 3GHz 2Gb RAM, ATI Radeon X300 graphics card 128Mb, Windows XP Home SP2) only to discover that the frames rates on this PC are utterly unplayable. As soon as you start moving in any plane the rate draps from around 25fps to just 1fps and that's with only an 800x600 screen resolution. I've tried knocking textures and detail down but it makes only a minor difference. More modern games that my kids play on this PC such as Sims and Spore play absolutely fine so I just can't understand how it can be SO slow. Hiall,Apologize if this has been asked before. I have switched to FSX too early and been off FS9 for too long. But I am back to FS9 disappointed as I am over FSX.And I now realize that FS9 is much more fun, except for the fact that I bump into this annoying quirk everytime I am flying for a while: one of the systems or engines or radios fails!Now that is nice once in a while but not if it is occurring each time. How do I start up FS9 making sure failure initiation is off? Apparently it does not help if I uncheck all possible failure possibilities and in the fs9.cfg I do not find any indication for it either.Thanks beforehand for helping me out on this stupid problem.Roby
