HiI like the PSS 777 Virtual Cokpit but the FDE (Flight dynamics) are quite bad, especially at low operating weights. I do short flights only.Can someone advise me if he has ever merged the PSS with some other product (still using the VC) and got nice results?ThanksGhiom

Is there a freeware ATC software for my AI traffic that i can use instead of having to use FS default ATC service ?Since i have been using the default ATC service of FS, it implies unreal ATC service such as ordering instructions regardless of SID and STARS navigation.

I'm interested in modifying my B200 King Air to Raisbeck, Enhance Aviation, or Blackhawk PT6A-52 type engine conversion specs - I was looking at the aircraft.cfg file though and unfortunately it's not as easy as it is to modify a piston engine aircraft in FS9. Does anyone have any experience with this?What needs to change is that the engines need to be able to develop full power up to 27,000 feet rather than 23000ish feet like the stock 200 can do. The actual output of the engines doesn't change, but their max power is available to a higher altitude.

I find myself flying cargo in and out of Moscow a lot lately. I need to know how to do a second installation in Window Vista.In Window XP I used to rename the FS9 to old.I tried doing the same with Window Vista and it doesn't work.can someone help me?Thanks,henry

Hi guys, Wondering if any of you know how I can edit the cockpit font size on my gauges? Ever since I installed FlyTampa Dubai and SFO ive lost the default font size and is now replaced with something larger which makes an unrealistic apearence. This is in V/C and 2D for all a/c I have installed, so I figure it must be an fs9.cfg tweak? Any help apreciated!

Hello dear folks,I've got a serious and fatal problem right in the middle of the FS9 programme and it is not certainly specific when this is going to happen to emerge.I position and place my wilco feel there Volume 1 type aircraft with its related livery of which i had downloaded from the wilco pages on avsim. Hello there !Please find two screens took with a slightly different angle of view...This one show some objets like barrier and some other things on the background.This one do not show any object, just turned a but around the plane.The problem is that I experienced the same issue in the 2D cockpit, leading on some sceneries to hiding the runway lights or really important part of the scenery.Is this a kind of system that reduce number of displayed objects to lower impact on FPS, may I have a way to solve this issue ?Thank you for your help.Regards.

My computer is currently cooking up an install of Vista 64Bit. When I install FS9 again do I need to patch the executable (FS9.EXE) to be aware of the large address space or is that not neccesary in 64bit land???I'm a trifle confused!! any help gratefully recieved...Jim Harris

One of the best FS9 releases lately--although there have been lots of them. The real plane is a classic beauty. This flightsim model is fantastic looking and seems to have fully reproduced systems. It gives good frame rates. Beautiful VC with smooth gauges in recessed bevels, good night lighting. It feels like a heavy, underpowered, thirsty airliner with excellent hand-flying characteristics. Quite challenging to fly, even on the "1" setting for realism. Not letting it get too slow on approach is hard work, because the engines aren't going to save you if you get behind the power curve. Unfortunately ,I messed around with my night textures and now they are all very blurry and not in great shape.I wondered what recommendations you all might have for who makes the best night textures. I would like them to be crisp , not blurry, realistic with good lighting ( might be asking for a bit much in all of that) but i wondered what everyone's exp is on this subject.Thank youPeter

Is it theoretically possible to set up two computers side-by-side, run FSInn and fly together as PIC and FO on VATSIM? If so, what would be the best way to do this?

Ok so here is the deal. I am running FS9 with the 9.1 upgrade on windows XP. I currently use a sidewinder pro joystick. I have tried everyting and I mean everything, the brakes just won't come off. It just shows the "brakes" in a red background with white lettering in the bottom left corner of the screen. I have read multiple posts and tried everything from settings and key assingments to completely disonnecting the joystick and running just on the keyboard. The calibration on the joystick says the the trigger (botton1) is operating normally which is what I normally use to operate the brakes. I have even gone to the FS9.cfg file to try and find out why it loads every airc…

As my preferred GA sim is FSX I have been searching for good GA aircraft. Unfortunately apart from a few notables I found very few good GA aircraft for FSX so I finally took out the wallet and purchased two GA twins for FSX, Eaglesoft Twin Comanche Digital Aviation Cheyenne These two were bought after much reading about the payware aircraft offerings here at AVSIM.I can tell you after spending a week studying them and their systems and flying them I can say I am extremely impressed! I have installed Julie Rhodes Message kill dll file and it stops me using TrackIR. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and found a way around it please?Thanks in advance...............John

First of all I don't know what to where to search for. I'm tired of trying to find this so please forgive me and don't frame me unless it had really been discussed a million times and I'm just too blind to seem to find this. Anyway here are some screenshots that should show my problem. First of all can't remember all the ground add-on I installed, have obviously no idea which add-on could cause it, I'm using GE Pro and probably meesed up the "back-up" part but then again maybe I messed up something with the installation in the first place or maybe it was a problem prior to GE Pro. I have done a search but havent quite found what I was hoping for, so I will ask.It seems like city lights at night are too dim, compared to real life, except for "down town" areas or city centers. It seems in real life you can see a city from 50 miles away or more, but in FS9, you can hardley see them ,even when flying right over them. Is there a way to brighten up these files to a more realistic brightness? A bgl file to change maybe? Thanks.
