I have just spent 4 frustrating hours trying to modify the panel.cfg to the Aeroworx B200. I have been able to do this to SINGLE panel aircraft before. My 1st problem is IDENTIFING the correct panel.cfg to modify. As you may know the B200 comes in 5 differant variations (1) N 109 GE (2) N 207 CM (3) N 209 CM (4) N 210 CM (5) ZS-OVX. I'm trying to add this gauge, "Ground Handling Gauge" by Rob Barendregt downloaded here at the Avsim Library, under FS2004 "gauges". Inside the Aeroworx B200 folder in FS2004/Aircraft/AeroworxB200 you see 6 differant "panels"(1) panel(2) panel.an(3) panel.anvc(4) panel.em(5) panel.emvc(6) panel.vcWith 5 differant aircrafts and 6 differant …

Hey,my aircraft's landing and taxi lights look really terrible, you can see it in the file I attached. I already changed my halo.bmp a few times and tried Nick's light fix from the avsim library but it basically stayed the same. Those weird lights appear with any aircraft from default FS and add-on aircrafts to Ai-aircrafts. I have Real Environment Pro installed, but I don't know if that's what started the problem 'cause I already threw on a bunch of add-ons before I even started FS9 once. Flying at night like that is a real pain so I hope there's a fix.Karl B

HiMy mouse scroll wheel does the elevator trim, but I want it to do the zoom in VC function in activecamera.I have been into key assignments and deleted reference to trim on the joystick, there is nothing I can see for mouse.The zoom function in activecamera will not work. You spin the scroll wheel and it adjusts the trim always.The mouse is a logitech optical mouse.Mole_man

I have a dual use airport and need to simply place a couple of Air National Guard jets and one Helicopter as scenery (.bgl file). Flyable aircraft are too much trouble to handle. I fly commercial airline out of that airport and just wish to see the ANG jets lined up in their parking area. I have scenry (.bg.) airliners parked at the airline terminal. I find lots of flyable aircraft, but they do not stay on the ground. I can find plenty of scenery (.bgl file) civilian aircraft, but no military. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

XP SP1, FS9 SP1, RC4 and AdvDisp (networked), FSUIPC 3.8.5.0 and WideFS both registered (and other stuff of course).Following a new build I now have a horrid green band showing text of RC messages: it also shows PMDH MD11 initializatio countdown.What do I have to do to get rid of it? I know there are three options on the first FSUIPC screen but none remove the message.Thanks,Nicholas

Gday Guys,I currently have a problem in my FS9. I recently brought the C182Q for FS2004 and also the PMDG 736-739 Series. I downloaded a VH-FIB texture for the Cessna as i wanted a Australian Rego Cessna and a Air Berlin texture for the 738. I installed as instructed yet when i go to my aircraft selection menu the textures are not there. Only the default PMDG and C182 ones are. Anyone know why this is?Cheers,James

Is it possible to change the taxi/landing lights for a specific aircraft? Most of my a/c are fine - I have spotlight.bmp & halo.bmp replacements from AVSIM file library, but some 3rd. party a/c come with their own custom lighting and one or two in particular are pretty awful, so bright I can't see where I am taxiing.I tried changing lighting via the aircraft.cfg file, but to no effect. Is the lighting 'hard-wired" into the a/c model, or can I get these a/c to use the default FS9 lighting in the fs9/texture folder somehow?Many thanks,Martin

Hi allI have been able to find repaints for the 777-200ER and 777-200LR of Emirates from Avsim for the Project Opesnky v2 model, but cannot find a repaint for the 777-300ER.Has one been done as I recall seeing one in the New Files list not so long ago but the file search doesn't bring anything up.TaBrett

Hi! :( I'm flying a lot with FS9, but I have some problems...First of all, theres something that happends after while of flying. The menu-line that is located at the top of the picture (window mode) disappears and a black line at the buttom of the picture appears. It's about the same thickness of the menu-line that disappears. After this I can not left-click at the picture to change view, I can't get the menu-line back (yes, I have tried to press [alt]) so I can't either change aircraft or anything at all! It's also impossible to close FS. If I try to just close the window or press [esc] nothing happens. I had this problem before too, but I don't know how I fixed it. But …

My scenery for KDTW is elevated above ground. And there seem to other airports in the area that are above ground. Is there a way to flatten it?

I really like this plane--it looks sharp and flies nice. The problem is, when I put the floats down and land, then take off again, when I throw the retract switch--in the immortal words of Curly--"nothin' happens!"--except that the plane eventually falls gently out of the sky. As you don't really seem to need the floats to land etc. this isn't that big of a deal, but I was wondering if maybe I was doing something wrong. The switch is right there on the engine control panel. Any ideas? I'm having fun flying around the Canadian shield with a sextant and no GPS..lots and lots of lakes. Siberia is next. Bill

A few years back there was a tweak added to the FS9.cfg file. I think you added it under the ( Display. Device.xxxxxx) section. Or the (Display) section. It was a line that you added and had a value from 1-10.Any help please, Bob

Hi,I have a 2 monitor system and tried to setup the second monitor in fs9. Ihave the gtx280 from xfx with the 181.2 nvidia drivers installed. As soon as I enable the multi monitor option in the nvidia control panel fs9 starts to give some problems. In windowed mode it works fine but in full mode my second monitor behaves ok but the primary will freeze. Then I have to go back to windowed mode and close the overhead on the second monitor.Do you guys have any idea how to solve this?I have the problem with all my panels. I use win xp64.best regardsKim

Hello AllI was wondering if there are any tips or perhaps utilities that enable you to quickly find an individual aircraft in the aircraft folder?Sometimes if I am editing panel,texture or aircraft CFGs it can take an age of squinting and scrolling to find the aircraft I want to work on,particularly as my aircraft folder gets bigger and bigger.One for your vast store of knowledge perhaps OPA :( Cheers Andy

Okay today when I started FS it updated scenery files....Well I didnt install any scenery files, and I was going to go into a mp flight and the other guys had the same thing happen to them when they started fs also.SO now ! my hat switch on my joystick wont work in FS it works fine in calibration but it wont switch views in the simulator....#####..It was working fine earlier.I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers.I dont want to have to reinstall FS . So what can I do?

Hi,Wondering if someone can help, I cannot turn off the electrical power in any of my aircraft.I turn off the generators, avionics and battery switches but my panels all still have power, my radios still work as well as all other electrical systems, so I cannot achieve a cold dark cockpit.Even using Reliability Factor to simulate a full electrical failure has no effect.I tried a small download call bc dark but that doesn't work either.Thanks for any helpPeter.

Geofa- Here is an experimental multi mon layout for the 2D DreamFleet Baron- it attempts to locate the various popups in a "realistic" arrangement. I'm not sure it would meet your specifications for accuracy with the real bird. It's about the best possible in 2D multi mon.For your purpose, the virtual cockpit and TripleHead 2 Go might be a better approach. The virtual format should have a more accurate layout and would provide a 3 monitor horizon/FOV of about 90-100

Hi,I put together my first computer recently and the system works pretty good. I have some kind of issue with the graphic card though, which appers in all 3D applications I've tried so far. When I pan around fast in a game everything starts to flicker. The colors are still correct, it's just that all the contours on the screen kind of appear double. As soon as I stop doing these fast movements the flickering reduces. Right now I have the FPS in FS9 locked at 30 which makes this problem appear. If I use a much higher value the flickering disappears, but I don't think I should have to do that.This new computer cost me alot of money so I would really appreciate some help wit…

Hat not working in VCockpit with engines running.When I switch engines off Hat pans perfectly.This happens withmost aircraft.Any Ideas?flyinghigh.

I have just bought Lago's Georender Scenery Collection. My FS9 is on my D Drive, Windows XP on my C Drive. When I try to install this scenery it gives me the "Component Transfer Error" and closes down. Has anyone any ideas how I can o :( vercome this? The software does not allow me to change the path and Lago has gone out of business, so I'm stuck!Many thanks in anticiaption,Alan K

Hi All.I have grabbed this neat little utility, but I am having problems finding the location of the files it's sking me for.For instance it askes me to "import navaids from bgl" and then I have to select them from a box, but I'm not too sure where they are located and what I should be looking for.I have tried selecting a few random ones, but it keeps telling me that they do not contain any relevant information etc.Any help would be most welcome.Thanks.

I noticed today that I have lost all my ILS's east of about Ohio. The airports are there but no ILS or freq. show up either in FS Commander or FSNavigator. It has been a few weeks since I have flown on the east coast so I am not sure what I did. Any help would be appreciated.Pat Callaghan
