Hi everyone!Since Carenado plans to develope a Piper Seneca in the near future I wonder if it will be for FSX only or if there will be a FS2004 version, too.Anyone know about this? Greets,Markus

Hello all, does anyone remember an airline call list file(such as Soar, etc. the othe defaults)? This could have gone back as far as fs2000 and was a rather long file with almost any airline available listed. Thank you. Mike

I don't know what I changed but my night lighting for the virtual cockpits in the default aircraft ( Cessna, Beech, Lear etc ) will not work. The 2d panel night lighting works fine as does the VC night lighting for my add-on aircraft, but the VC lighting in the defaults are gone. I'm thinking I somehow deleted a default file. If so, should I simply re-load my default Gauges file from my CD, or does anyone have another suggestion?Also, if I reload from the CD, do I lose all the add-on gauge files when I'm asked to overwrite them, or will they stay in the file?

I'm using FS2004 on Vista, And really enjoy FS9 but am having a really bad problem using it, When about to start a flight the screen flickers, And when i open the GPS the whole GPS flickers, Does anyone have any idea how to stop this? Its very annoying

I'm not sure that this is the right forum to ask, perhaps I should ask on the aircraft specific forums. Let me know. I want to get the Kai Tak IGS 13 approach in both my PMDG 747 and my Level D 767. Can anybody help with a link and some info on where to install it? I also understand that there is some nice freeware terrain and airport. Also, I notice that VHHX which I think is the designator since Kai Tak closed is Not in the database. VHHH, the original ICAO ident is now the new Hong Kong airport ident. Any help and links to SIDS, STARS and approach, as well as terrain with some suggestions on how to install will be appreciated.Thanks.Bruce [email protected]

Hello AllFor two days now I have tried (with no success)to place objects.I am sure I have installed the program correctly(although its a bit of a b----r )I 'think?' I have installed the the various third party programs from MSoft that are needed(could be wrong here its all a bit fuzzy on the MS site as to what i am downloading)but so far my efforts at populating the Gulf area with tankers,containers(Pirates) etc have drawn a blank Gulf still remains deeply blue and resolutely devoid of shipping.Is there anyway a working copy of the program could be sent to me?(without of course breaking any rules,stepping on feet or infringing anybody or thing.)The gulf needs tankers.The …

hi,Overnight, i can no longer connect fsnavigator to a multiplayer session. I enter an IP (no matter which one), click on search but nothing shows in the session window. I did not change anything to FS9, FS navigator or my router, firewall, windows XP. Tried a reinstall, same result.Please, help me...

I tried looking through the file library but couldn't find one. Anybody know if there is a repaint for the Project Airbus A319IAE in house colors? I also tried looking on the Project Airbus website, but it appears to be offline.

Hi All Can anyone please tell me if FS9 and the usual addons work OK under Vista. I'm looking into upgrading my computer to a quad core but I want to stay with FS9 for now. If I'm in for lots of compatibility problems I will save my money.

Someone asked me why I was still using the FSP Airbusses instead of the Fruit Stand models. Is TFS that much better? I can change them but would require some work. The FSP Airbus flight models aren't perfect but most of what I notice with them is they land really fast and when they take off, they go up at a very steep angle for some while before leveling out. I don't want to go messing with FDE's as I'm not that experienced with it. Are Fruit Stand models a better choice? thanks

Hi,I recently started using my laptop to Flight Sim as my desktop died. My desktop was Windows XP and my laptop is Windows Vista. I have the DreamFleet 727 v2 and it ran fine on my Windows XP machine, however it crashes to desktop when I try and select it in FS on my laptop. I have been researching this for the last week and have determined it is some sort of panel issue. When I completely remove the panel folder, I can select the aircraft. So, has anyone gotten this to work on Vista? Or have any suggestions?Regards!

I had to uninstall my Project canarias scenery.Since I have downloaded it again from AVSIM, it seems to have downloaded corruptly, twice, and when it gets to the install I get various different messages, all of which say things to the effect that it's not going to work and shuts down the installer. That's after it's unzipped the three packages into the singlw installer.Any ideas or anyone know where I can get a good copy to try?thanksLee

Does anybody know if there is a file availible to remove the cockpit window 'eyebrows' on the PMDG 737-800/900?,I know that several airlines (i.e Ryanair) have Boeing 737-800's without the 'eyebrows'.Any help will be appreciated.

I've got the a340-300_virgin_nc.zip from the files here & to use the VC version I have "To be able to use the VC version of our A340 you will need to download Pasquale Rinaldi's A340 panel from avsim: file name:340_fs9.zip" but I can't find it. I'd appreciate a pointer !!! Thanks.

A couple of years ago, someone sent me instructions on how to adjust the approach / climb rate / take off speeds, etc. of the AI aircraft, but I guess I lost it when I got my new computer.A few of my AI's come in a bit too fast on landing or take off too slow and I wanted to check the adjustments to make the necessary speed changes. Most work just fine but a couple of my airbusses come in really hot and take off really fast and go into a very steep climb until they stabilize. Is there a 'cheat sheet' for setting the correct speeds? Thanks

Hi all I have often toyed with the idea of getting the above weather generator but up until now have never dived in. Before I make the purchase I have some questions I'd like to ask from you guys who are already users of this product. 1. Can you use preset weather situations as opposed to being connected to the internet whilst flying? 2. Is there a facility to store previously downloaded weather situations for use at a later time?. And to incorporate them into flightplans with FS Build? 3. If I can run default at max with very good frame rates will I be able to do the same with ActiveSky? Thanks in advance for your help

HiI know that a landclass bgl file should be under a scenery folder with no related 'texture' folder.Apart from that, will there be a problem (memory leak or other) if two files covering the same area (or having an overlap) are put in the same folder .If not, how fs9 will determine which ones gets priority?
