Hi all! What has to be changed in the aircraft.cfg in order to have stronger parking brakes for powerful aircraft?Is there a way to do so without modifying the normal brake power?Thanks!

Does anyone know if a good scenery of Stavanger Sola airport ENZV is available for FS9?I have tried the "Norapt5" freeware version, but it doesn't seem to like my Ultimate Terrain Europe very much (cost lines get all !#%!@ :( ).If someone knows how to make Norapt working together with UT-Eur, that would be great to.Thanks for your help.Best regards,Frank

What should be a rockin app from Aerosoft has lately deflated into frustration and almost downright removal. Has anyone else experienced significant flakiness with ProFlight Emulator in the way it handles flight vectoring since the 2.10 update? I've noticed that occasionally the ATC from PFE will go silent (even when on the right frequency) and I don't get vectored in a timely manner. The other day I was doing a KSTL to KDAL flight when PFE caused FS to CTD. It's getting to the point where I'll have to go back to the built-in ATC with FS because PFE can no longer do the things it used to.

Hi Guys,I'm having a very irritating problem with my fs..Whenever i start a flight, everything works fine but however,when on approach,or sometimes even few meters before touchdown, the fs9 screen flicks and comes sortlike with a terture loading problem..and so the fs restart popup screen comes..I think that it's a memory failure of something,but i'm not that much intease into the subject..My specs are a Quad core and 4 GB ram, however Xp reads only 3 Gb.I have installed ground environment + ultimate terrain..any solutions? I have purchased the Capt Keith's Sandpit scenery for FS9 and soon discovered that it's not compatible with Ultimate Terrain Canada which I use. And therefore the Sandpit scenery is useless for me. My thought is couldn't they have made it UT Canada compatible while they were developing the FSX version? I mean how many are using FS9 without UT Canada?

Hey,after trying to get FSX to work with a acceptable framerate without success, I switched back to FS9, installed all the WOAI packages for it except for the ceased airlines and downloaded the TVB v.2.1 and the update no. 16.But when I started the game with the TVB, it doesn't really work at all. I mean, you can turn it on, but you can't follow any of the aircrafts and I actually think, that none of the planes that are displayed really exist, because the clock in the upper left corner of the board always reads 00:00 GMT+0, even though I'm in Boston at 1pm. So is there a fix for this or is the TVB just too...out of date for the newest WOAI packages?

Hey all,I want to know how can I change the defeault approach procedures in FS? Two week ago I flight to Innsbruck, and it was a horrible approach. The final has began at 10000ft, and just 9nm from the airport. I've done it but it wasn't such a beautiful approach, and maybe in the real world the plane would have smashed into the ground.All in all, am I have a chance to change that procedure to a rel one?Thanks

Hi allPlease tell where can i get good BGL language reference. I had viewed 'Scenery SDK.pdf' docfile from FS SDK 2000 but i'm not quite understand BGL workflow. Im interested primarily on aircraft design and i still not understand what a 'BGL_VFILE_MARKER' instruction does and how variables organized in BGL. The 'Scenery SDK.pdf' doesnt provide a good information about it. Please, if you can, help me!!!

Is there a system as to how ATC assigns parking for the AI's and does it make a difference how the gates are numbered? I always thought spots were assigned in order of the size of space compared to size of aircraft and ATC assigned the closest gate but it doesn't seem to work that way. Or is it just random?

Hello Friends,I have the Norway Airports 4 (free scenery) and Norway Mesh (also free) installed.But as seen in these screenshots something must be wrong so I kindly ask for some help here.If any expert can be kind to give some suggestions I really appriciate it.ENBO airport, something must be wrong since the taxiway is dissapering, this only appear in ENBO, not other airports from this free package.Here I have problem with the sea, looks strange, so I think something must be wrong with the elevation. Hello I made a simple gauge so I can hear Apu sound, but I want to hear that sound outside the aircraft only, in the spot view. What formula has to be written? Hi,I'm considering to buy a 22" TFT with a resolution of 1680*1050.Since I fly solely in 2D this imposes a problem with a lot (if not all) of panels (stretching etc).How do you cope with this? Flying VC is not an option, I just don't like that.Those of you flying in 1680 resolution, have you edited all your panel bitmaps including panel.cfg's,and added about 400px extra in size adding some more gauges from the center/co-pilots cockpit space?Egbert

Purchased MegaScenery New York and installed it in FS9 but upon running the sim there is no evidence of any enhanced scenery in the New York area. The MegaScenery files appear in the FS scenery library and are at the top of the list and all are red checked. PC aviator doesn't answer their phone so I could question them about this and there is nothing on their support forums that are related to this problem. This was SimMart download purchase. I am starting to use the FS9 GPS function for the first time. Until now I have had no need of it as I have been flying an aircraft with a full FMS. I am now learning to fly Aeroworx' King Air. I have retrofitted the aircraft with SimFlyer's Bendix KLN94 as it is better than the default unit that comes with the aircraft. When you go to the Procedures page the only options available are to select an approach, activate an approach and activate vectors. On the real KLN94 unit you can also select a departure or an arrival.The SimFlyer unit uses the default FS database, so I decided to have a look at the default FS9 Garmin GPS. It's been years since I needed help with FS9, but this one has me stumped. The last time I used FS everything was fine. Today, all the panels are black. The tool tips show, but nothing else.I'm sure that this is a simple fix, but I must be missing something.
