Hello All,I was wondering if anyone knew where or what config file in FS9 the yoke and throttles settings are kept, you know, the ones e change in the assignment section. I've lost mine and do have a backup of the complete sim as it was, however I don't know which file that would be, or where it would be located . . . I've searched but as of yet I can't seem to identify those settings in any of the config files.Anyone?Thanks in advance,Clay

Does anyone know where I can get a "better" Beechcraft King Air than is in the Fs2004? I'm looking for a better vertiual cotpit for one. Has anyone made a better one, if so where can I get it (free or buy it)? It has to be for Fs2004 Thanks jerrycwo4

Hi,Not sure this is the right place to post this, since this addon I have just heard of is for both FS9 and FSX. Rather intriguing to me, I can't find any review and/or comment about it, even though it was released almost a month ago. AFAIK it includes an aircraft model (a Lockheed L10E Electra, resembling that of Amelia Earhart in her last and fateful flight) and flight plans for a tour around around the world. But what else? No hints anywhere about this. If this is all includes, it hardly worths the ~30EUR/25GBP they ask for.JAMM

About a month ago I tried to get on the learning curve to host a multiplayer session with a friend,but the brain strain became too much...doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is said to equal insanity.If there is anyone there that has been through that hassle with positive results, then I would appreciatesome tower talk.Cheers,Dave

Finally upgraded my system, did not want to wait for my nine year old P3/800 to bite the dust. I didn't go after bleeding edge technology, but given the specs of my new system for the first time I've been able to reach my version of the FS9 holy grail: 30 fps, everything maxed, and no blurries or stutters.Surprisingly, with a low end graphics card even with 16x aniso turned on....The other fun bit is starting FS9 up, starts up in about 10 seconds. Hello AllI have decided to re-install FS2002(yes that's two not X)I am just interested in having a tinker about to see what it can do and how I can get it to look.So far I have managed to install Traffic 2002(which comes with t2005)I have also used FSGlobal SE which also works with 2002.I have used the accelerated ATC speech (from edit voice pack)and have moved my FSNav module and other FS NAV bits from my FS9 modules folder and simply dropped them into the 2002 modules folder)it seems to work but weather its functioning correctly using this method i don't know.HOWEVER there is one thing I need some help with some of the aircraft in 09 will work fine with 02,but the pane…

Since the development of AES (which I love), it seems that developers are no longer willing to include their own active gate docking systems for FS9 scenery. Is it because they want us to spend more money by buying AES credits? I don

i have this problem of AI's bouncing wildly during startup, taxi and take-off and i was able to fix the problem by adjusting the "moments of inertia". after doing so, a new problem occurs. the aircraft take's off with a tailstrike. i tried fixing each of the moments of inertia by adjusting their values but nothing would change. can anyone point to me which part of the cfg file this problem can be controlled?thank you.

I recall a software add on that when installed would indicate the name of airports when looking out the cockpit. In other words , your flying along and the name of the airport would hover over the airfield, Maybe im wrong but i so that online somewhere. Does anyone know what im talking about and if so can you point me to file?Thank youpeter

Hi! I know that with DXTBmp program, a marvelous tool! I can take out the mips from a texture file and many other magic things, but , it must be done one by one for every texture image. My cuestion is, if there is another way to do it in a "bath" way, or if there is another tool that does these tedious job with one click with all of them in a batch way.Thanks!!

Which is setting in the panel.cfg will dim the panel lights? Mine are a bit too bright.is it the 'night' scalar or the 'luminous' under the heading?what's the difference between the two?

Got this problem like this: long range flight, cover several time zones. During flight, the FS will automatically load new scenery and other files with a progress bar when I am far away the departure airport. After the loading, I can see the altimeter and IAS jumped! Obviously the FS set a new weather parameters(temp and barometric pressure I think) during the loading. changes are so sudden and abrupt that the VNAV mode can not sustain and disengage right away.My friends with almost the same FS and Add-Ons installed dont have this problem. Any body has some idear or a solution to prevent this? This is confusing because only after the auto loading will result in this probl…

After a complete reformat of my PC I'm having a problem with FS9 opening in Full Screen. I am using the Nvidia 7600 GS Graphic Card with the latest Update 181.22 (just over a week old). I done the usual things such as deleteing the fs9.cfg file and, after letting it rebuild itself, using a saved .cfg from before the the reformat, and checking the Graphic Card Settings. Nothing works.Desperate situation now, any help would be appreciatedKen
