I'd like to be able to edit airport parking in a text file and I can copy and airport's parking file to the clipboard. But do I import it back to AFX when I'm done editing in notepad. I seem to remember in the older AFCAD program there used to be an 'import' feature, but AFX doesn't seem to do that.Sometimes it's easier and faster to edit in an outside text file but not sure how to get it back. Thanks for any feedback.

Can anyone help with this? I have installed and declared RJTT V0.12 for FS2004.This is great freeware scenery by Eiichi Shimizu! I have also installed the fix by Martin Stebbing, which fixes the apron/taxiway disappearing.The problem seems to be the default scenery is still there, i.e. two runways,PAPI etc. I don't know which one is on top or bottom but I can see 2 runways,PAPI etc.The add-on scenery is all there,but I seem to have 2 AFCAD's.The default Airport is in scenery/asia/scenery/AP985190.bgl, which contains other airports, so I don't want to mess with it. What can I do to show only the add-on scenery? thanks for any help!!!! Matt :-)

Hi,Is there is some possible way to merge the Wilco A320 Panel in the Project Airbus A319 series????I tried just copying and pasting the panel into the project airbus aircraft folder and that did not work out.How can I make a correct merge, or does anyone have a nice merging instructions??? :(

Hello,I have just stumbled upon the knowledge of a new flight simulator produced by Microsoft. This software appears to be aimed at business entities that seek to train flight personnel. However, some of the screen shots were so inviting that I have taken an interest. The terrain within this software looks extremely convincing. Furthermore, it really does seem to enhance "realism" something we all strive for in this hobby. Is there anyone here who has experienced this software? If so, please leave a post or IM me. I really would like to hear a person's review before making a decision. Thanks

I installled the Aeroworx B200 King Air v2.0.1. It's great addition to my hangar, but the ADI in the Analog panels and the the torque meters in both analog and digital panels are inop. I reinstalled but that had no effect. Any sugggestions? Thanks.

Hi EveryoneI could never get to the bottom why this happens. Could someone help me? This is a really nice really scenery package that replaces a good number of Norway airports that I recently downloaded. I suppose the two questions are 1. How does it happen (I will hazard a guess and show my ignorance and say that there is some lack of compatabilty between the texture files and afcad) and 2. What can I do to sort it out? This package simply replaced the default airport ( Hand on heart there was no fiddling around) :( I would really appreciate some guidance. It is a shame because other than what is shown it is a really nice package. Many thanks in advance. Tristan.

Whenever I try to record with FRAPS the FPS counter goes from yellow to red and the back to yellow. I DON'T have the F9 key used in FS2004 and i have 84.1 Gigs of space on my Hard Drive. FRAPS records other programs like GTA: SA but CANNOT record FS2004. Can you help me!!

I notice in the FRF KJFK scenery that Rwy 4L/22R has 2500 ft "displaced threshold" on either end. What's the purpose for this?I can understand if there were mountainous terrain but it's pretty flat in this area. How does it affect the AI or user aircraft if the displacement is removed?Just a curiousity question.Thanks

Hi, Once i have a given flight plan, is there a software out there free/cost that could show the wind/direction and temperature at that given waypoint? Also using Jeppensen weather, i can get all the weather chart, but how do i get the rest if from heathrow i went east, ie all the way to Hong Kong? Hi all! i downloaded & installed the Nemeth Designs MD500E freeware helicopter.There is one file that i do not know where to put it. it is a Heliforce.xml file. Here are the install instructions from the ReadMe text; 2.I have also included the final generated MD500E Simulator.xml HeliForce file, and together with the other modified files in this package make for a very real FDE.3. For Installation of the HeliForce xml file you will need to navigate to the location where the HeliForce xml is located and stored on your individual system.I don't know where to navigate to, or where the heliforce.xml is located and stored on my system. Using the KJFK scenery by FRF, I notice that AI aircraft landing on 22L remain on the runway when they reach the exit point. They don't leave the runway for about 5 minutes and then they pause at the 'hold short' point. This causes go-arounds trying to land on that runway. Also some aircraft taking off on 22R are cleared to line up for take off but then they are never cleared for take off so they sit there backing up traffic and causing more go-arounds until the aircraft finally disapperars and clears the way. I'm usually pretty happy with FRF scenery but this one seems to have some kind of issue that I'm not sure how to fix. Anyone else notice this?

Hi all!I just installed David C. Copley's great 'Definitive Lightning v2.4'.Everything is fine but one little detail: I get frozen blurred propellers (at high RPM they are blurred but don't have a rotating animation).I had a look at the Aircraft.cfg and did not find the 'prop_anim_ratio=???' line... maybe that's the point?What 'prop_anim_ratio' value should I set?And what about 'propeller_moi=???' ?Thanks for help.J.R.

Whilst flying is there a way of checking which runway is in use to land some time before you get in range of the tower?I know that you can use Afcad to close runways.Is this the only way to do this. thanks for the help steve

Hello all,Although I have being using FSX for some time now, I reinstalled FS9 because I wanted to have fun with some of my old addons.I would like to know if there is any kind of scenery update packs that makes it easier to bring up to date sceneries for large areas at a time. Im not an eye candy junky so I am solely interested in updated navaids and airports. Areas I am interested in are Europe and Africa.Thanks!
