Hi all,While in VC mode, it's easy to fine-tune the eyepoint visually by means of the various keyboard combinations ([CTRL]+[ENTER], etc). My question is: after I have fine-tuned visually the eyepoint to my liking, how can I get the 3 parameters that correspond to that particular eyepoint-position in order to enter them in the "eyepoint" command line of the aircraft.cfg to save myself the trouble of having to readjust the desirable eyepoint each time I start FS9?To set these values in the aircraft.cfg file by trial and error is a very painstaking task and out of question!thanks,manos

Hi all,Can someone tell me what Error 34 means. I have just reinstalled FS9 on my new PC. Downloaded FS9 Update to 9.1 from MS but when I tried to install the update, an error Message pops up "Error 34" and will not install the update.Detailed support info at MS seems all to be concentrating on FSX.Appreciate any help/suggestion on this one please.Tks & cheers from Down UnderRichard

Can anyone offer an explanation of what can cause this error?

I just reinstalled my DF Baron 58 in the past two days and I'm having a peculiar sound problem. It seems to be more prevalent towards the beginning of a flight when I first load the DF baron. I am loading the default C172 flight first.When I load the DF baron, any change I make on the startup panel seems to cause a brief blast of crackling sound through my speakers. Then after that has stopped, any view change that requires new textures to load (such as using the POV hat switch on my joystick for the first time ONLY, just the first time when it has to load the files for the new textures of the different views). After the initial texture load, the sound doesn't come back. …

Today i've merged the posky's triple-7 with pss panel, but somehow the autothrottle doesn't work. Anyone know how to fix this?Thanks

How do you operate the cargo doors on the Overland 777 series? I've tried Shift E this and Shift E that and nothing works. Is there a standard key combination that I'm missing?Thanks

Hi everyone, just wondering if someone could help me ive lost all the wing views in the 2d cockpit view, when i select left rear i can see the strobe light but no wing, they was there the other day but now yhere not, they have gone from the PMDG 737 and the LEVEL D 767, they are there in the 3d vc but not in 2d, is there somthing in the fs9.cfg file that i might have deleted or something. thanks for reading. :(

For those who have not installed the Section 8, F-86, you are missing one of the best and realistic flightsim downloads I have seen in many years, including both freeware and payware!! It is on a par with AFG Beech 300! The problem is, now that I have started with Military jets, and the F-86 is my first plane, I am hooked on the speed and handling compared to GA aircraft..........so my question is, what other jets should I be looking for?? Both free and payware are now on my watchlist, so anyone with suggestions will be greatly appreciated!! Hi.I decided to grab this plane when it was in the sale, and to be honest I am glad I did. I do like the plane despite what some people feel about it, but I must admit that I have never flown such a frame rate killer before this.I have pretty much ALL the major add-ons etc, such as the PMDG 744, MD11 etc and every single PSS aircraft they made, I also have the CS B707, C130/130J as well and don't have this problem with any of them at all.I run FS9.1 maxed out and have an extremely fluid experience, but it's very difficult to enjoy the same experience in the 757.So, has anyone managed to get it to run smoother at all. or have any suggestions. HelloJust re-installed GE PROII, After the install the initial settup allowed me to go through the procedure to install texture sets etc. so just to be sure it was working I installed about 10. This worked and I ran fs9 via ASX and everything was ok.But when I exited and tried to open GE PRO again vi the desktop icon the first question was ok - for wideFS users only (tick or x), so I tock the x, then I get a GEpro error window saying:sub main access path error (i translate here from french)then a frozen GEpro window remains on my desktopis this familiar to anyonethanks for helpjlm

hello everyone...i've been searching the whole forum to solce the FSSound.dll probs but mostly all of them wants to get rid the warning message if you run your fs9 but for me i havent find the solution. I just reinstall my fs9 and everything i have to start in scratch and when i add the FSSound.dll on my fs9 module i got this error message "flight simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. you can continue using flight simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled.File: fssound.dll"unlike before it only ask me if i like to run it or no but this i dunno what happen..i've been figuring out this one for two days but no chance of solving it plss help m…

Whenever I try load WSSS Singapore Changi into FS9 the loading graph stops at 1% then the simulator freezes and I have exit it via task manager. Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this? Thanks in Advance Tom Helwick KLVM Montana, USA

I keep having these problem textures in flight simulator. It is in both 9 and X. Thus may be kind of hard to spot if you do not have your brightness up but they annoy the heck out of me.http://img98.imageshack.us/my.php?image=problemci4.pngYou can see the "tearing"I have tried 3 different drivers, including some modded ones but none of that seems to work. I have tweaked every setting in fs, deleted my fs9, and changed to all kinds of resolutions. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

Hi all,Went through the two-week job of reinstalling FS9 and add-ons a few months back. Everything's been running smooth, except for one thing: I'm getting extremely slow and choppy performance with all -- and only -- aircraft made by Bill and Lynn Lyons. They're great planes, and I realize it's a problem with my system and not their aircraft, but this has happened to me several times over the years where all the Lyons aircraft have suddenly become unusable (2 FPS).Has anyone else experienced this?

Just trying to fly a flight from Vancouver to Calgary for my VA and FS9 continues to crash on me with the dreaded terrrain.dll error. I checked out other threads with this error and then double checked to see if there are any duplicate AFCAD's and cleaned up any that I had and the crash still occurs if I have the default GPS open at a certain point in the flight.The crash occurs about 100nm west of Calgary. All of a sudden the screen will go black, the hard drive will come on and two minutes later, the error message pops up. I checked to see if anything addon scenery for that area could be causing the issue and even installed one addon, but the crash still happens.In anot…

Whenever I start a flight at Blueprint Simulation's KMSP, my plan and all AI is loaded up inside the building. The jet ways are misaligned in the same way too. Is this a misaligned AFCAD? Is there any easy way to fix this, maybe using Lee Swordy's software?I have asked Blueprint for help but haven't heard anything. I had FRF's version in FS9 before I bought this one, but I uninstalled everything according to the instructions. Hi everyone. I have yesterday made a completely clean start of FS9 with a new rig having been out the flight sim loop for about a year. I have been browsing all the fantastic products available but at the same time getting a little confused and worried that I may duplicate what I am going to buy. Rather than add the more intricate add-ons like replacement trees etc etc ( I will do this later), I am trying to get the fundementals right i.e Mesh, Weather, Land Class, water and Scenery/Terrain.
