I just recently downsized some of the iFDG A320-211 AAF Texture files to 512x512 (off 1024x1024)The following files were resized: Engine.bmp, Fuse.bmp, Gear2.bmp, Misc2.bmpI'm new to all this. Didn't even touch the Alpha Channel for the only image which had one: Engine.bmp. My problem: FS9 refuses to load up the aircraft. Crashes to Desktop while prompted to do so.Ideas, please? :(

Hello,Once in every three or four flights with the Wilco/Feelthere A320 (version 3c) I encounter this strange incident: During a perfectly normal descent (2000 ft/min, engines idle), typically around FL 10, the TOGA lock suddenly engages and the aircraft starts a steep climb. After taking manual control (a/t and ap off) and moving the joystick throttle lever back and forth a few times, the situation returns to normal. The whole incident lasts only a few seconds, but is nonetheless very annoying, as you can imagine. I wonder whether any one else has come across this incident and would be grateful for any ideas as to what may cause it.(System: AMD Athlon 64 3200+, NVidia 79…

Hi AllI've just started encountering an annoying problem where by, after bringing up the ATC window, I can no longer get a response from ATC when selecting any of the numbered options available.I've recently installed JF's 757 Professional and can't help thinking that the problem's related to this, but I can't for the life of me think why this should be the case...Any help much appreciatedGary

This is probably an easy fix, but I can't seem to get it right.I can longer see my FS2004 KNEEBOARD. When I push the button on my CH Yoke to bring it up I hear the "click" that it usually makes when the kneedboard first appears...and repeated presses also cause more clicks (as they do when the different pages on the kneeboard are usually displayed). However, the Kneeboard doesn't show up on the monitor screen! My guess is that it somehow got buried behind some other FS screen?Can anyone help me find it so that I can use it again?Thanks,Mike

Load the game and update 9.1. Reloaded my congiuration file and took a short flight everything worked. Reloaded my FSGenesis software. Now do I next load Ground Environment Pro or UTUSA?ThanksTom

Hi,I quit flying FS 2004 long time ago, because my computer was simple not able to handle all the nice FS-eyecandy addons and ai-traffic packages while flying a highend aircraft addon and keeping acceptable framerate. Not to mention FSX.Few weeks ago I buyed a new computer with I7 processor and ATI 5850 videocard and gave FS2004 and FSX a new chance....all I can say is wow. FS2004 is now the sim I always wanted :( Fully packed with Addons (REX2004, UTE, WOA, many Megaairports...) and absolutly fluently framerates (min 30+) at HD resolution in almost every situation - simply great. FSX didn't made it again for me. I tried the innsbruck approach mission, and again - frame…

With Windows 7, where did they hide the display hidden files toggle switch? I can not see the FS9 Configuration file.ThanksTom

I've downloaded the program FS2004 Night Time, which vastly improves night flying by making night alot darker, specifically on aircraft and buildings.But it seems, for some reason, that I have to run it everytime I start FS9 as it's effects seem to be disregarded once FS has been shut down.Does anyone else who uses this program have this problem? Also, exactly what does it change when you run it?Thanks

Sometime ago I downloaded and installed a file that "reduced" friction so that a/c taxied easier. Now it's becoming a pain. Some of my a/c reach speeds of 30knts with throttles closed.If anyone can remember what this file was and even better which file to restore I would be eternally grateful.

I often hear very bad things about captain sim. I have yet to purchase any of their aircraft so have no idea how well or not so well made their products are, although the C-130 looks good.So in reading alll the negative posts on this developer, one has to ask how such a bad developer(assuming) end up with a t-shirt on the ISS?

Greeting All,I am sorry if this subject has already been mentioned, I did a search and only came up with search failure, now the Iris Tornado F3 a very nice Aircraft however is a completely different story when it comes to landing and taxiing, landing the aircraft bounces all over the place I mean ALL over the place.Taxi a little fast on a corner Oops the aircraft tilts over and does the same thing as landing, is there an adjustment or modification to the Aircraft.cfg which will prevent this.Thank you,Dave.

Hello all,I've just done a flight to Trieste with this great scenery, really cool work! :( However, on my final approach I encountered a slightly misaligned (to the left) localizer beam for runway 09. I tried the stock one to see if it was somehow related to FS itself but it was fine. I also took a look at my RW charts and there doesn't seem to be any indication of an offset in real life, either.I've searched the forums and even google'd it but found nothing... Has anyone else experienced this with LIPQ 2009? :( Also, is there a way to fix this with AFCAD?Thanks in advance and happy landings to all

I have no clue what has happened. I've probably spent the last two weeks tweeking and adding files and have flown and maybe a total of 3 hours in doing so. Started up FS9 today and it gave me an error that I suddenly had two FSUIPC.dll files in the modules folder. Huh? Worked fine last night. So I deleted the older one, restarted FS9 and now aget a string of .dll errors saying the aircraft or software cannot load and then the last kick in the teeth from Microsloth is that the MODULE.DLL file is missing or corrupt and to "simply" quote - "reinstall MSFS". Yeah right - hand doing hundreds of aircraft listings again ain't on my agenda at all.If there is no work around then I…

Sounds interesting, but then it's about $110/year to have. Anybody use it?I guess the key here is you pay for convenience and you know you AI traffic really is "as real as it gets" - particularly when other typical ai flight plans don't allow for things like weather delays and such.If anybody is or has used it, i was wondering about how the flight models appear. from the screenshots I don't think they are on par with stuff from say, Aardvark or Fruitstand. just an assumption though. Got a question for you FS9 gurus. I've just installed Aerosoft's Menorca and have a question about the ATIS frequency. It is listed at 112.60 but the aircraft I'm flying doesn't allow me to tune the Com 2 radio below 118.00. I pulled the actual charts for Menorca from AIP Espana, (http://www.aena.es/), and verified that the ATIS frequency is correct in the Afcad, it is 112.60.So I guess the question is what do I need to do to be able to tune the Com 2 radio in the FSD Cessna 337 to that frequency. I know I could simply change the frequency in the Afcad to something that the 337 can tune to but I'd rather use the real world frequency if possible. Appreciate any help on thi…

hi everyone,can anybody give me a little description on how to fly online without using VATSIM but just using two PCs?i have a friend who would simply like to do ATC for me via the internet while i will be flying in FS2004. he has no flight simulator installed.so, is there an easy way to set up an online environment in which we can do this without using the (for me) pretty complicated AVSIM network? if so, which software does he need (i.e. ATC client etc.) and what do i need to install? how do we establish a connection? i would be thankful for any good advise,greetsstu :(

I would like to ask for anyone to confirm this situation: a month ago if you start flying and then fly or just "go to airport" ekch copenhagen, the sim crashes at loading 77%-weather and blames weather.dll.i say then fly, because if you choose ekch from main menu it's fine.i renamed my fs folder today and made a clean install of 9.1, removing all fs9.cfg and bla-bla-bla as well. same story.it's very bizzare and i can't find a reason.before making a clean install i tried removing all entries from scenery.cfg, but if you approach the place - ctd.any advice would be useful. thanx
