Recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7-64 bit. Installed FS9 which loaded OK but when I change the window view nothing happens to the view but the sound alters as though the view has changed and opening the view menu the cursor points to the selected window but the actual window has not changed. Any one else had a similar experience and what is the solution? I have re-installed and added the upgrade but no change in the problem.

Oh boy, I think I'm about to screw the pooch here.I have some sceneries for FS9 (KBTV for one) that require Gerrish grey's Trees v3 to be installed. No prob, but the installation instructions within the tree file are for FS2000 and FS2002!I looked for an update for FS9 and found none. Obviously they must be installable otherwise they would not be listed as being required in FS9 so some people have them installed.For instance, "Unzip the contents of the file SCENERY.ZIP into your main <fs####>\scenery folder."This would mean that the .bgl file is sitting outside all of the other file folders by itself (Asia, World, etc). Greetings all, when i am taxing to the active, usally behind behind traffic 9/10 the plane infront sticks on the taxiway and im left there for ages waiting to get on the runway, before i would go right through it but now i use fspassengers i cant. I have the original version 1 of the Eagle Soft Cessna Citation X and was thinking about upgrading to the newer version 2 (Cessna Citation X Extreme 2.0) but after my research I believe that it is NOT compatible with Windows XP? Is this correct ? You have to have Vista or the new Windows 7?2nd part. I can not figure out how to make the version 1 fly a track-line on Auto Pilot.(I do NOT know how to program the FMC). Hello,Im not sure who and who doesnt know what im talking about but does anyone have the Algiers airport scenery (the new one)? On AVSIM or Flightsim... Anyway, I have this problem where everytime i try to land on that airport, it always, always, only gives you the option to only land on runway 27, which drives me insane whenever theres bad weather in Algiers, this runway, which has no ils, is literally the only one ATC offers for landing. I dont know why. I always deny thier command to land on that runway and land on runway 23. Getting to my point, does anyone know how to make the scenery so that ATC offers the option for all aircraft to land at different runways? I real…

Hello out there my fellow pilots...Again I have a question and I have searched. My wife, my sweet flight attendant is in ZBAA right now and this is one of my few times to do a long haul without the usual, did I empty the dishwasher, did I fold the laundry, did I etc...Any way, some time ago I posted a problem that I had with the default FS 2004 weather. A few weeks ago I reinstalled the latest version of Radar Contact 4 ( version 4.3) . During the installation I THINK I remember putting a "check mark" in a box that would have either the Pilot or CoPilot control the aircraft in someway. I do not remember just what it was supposed to do at this later time. MY ILS autolanding system has NOT worked properly ( or at all ) since that time. I am 99% sure that this is what caused it to stop working like it (ILS) did before I installed RC4. I can NOT find the "box" to uncheck the Pilot/CoPilot check mark. Could someone please explain to me where to locate this box so that I may Un-check it to see if this is what is causeing my …

I was just wondering if this will help the frame rates at Cloud9's KLAX? Mods...I hope this is not overstepping my bounds here and if I am I apologize in advance. The other day I was on a flight using the project airbus A320 from KJFK to KLAS. Using autopilot I noticed that it kept correcting for being off course. Looking at the GPS map I knew I was headed west, but the DG indicated headed south. Then two minutes later, indicated east............the DG kept spinning. I did some troubleshooting. Sitting on the runway 25L at KLAS, heading indicates about 340. Heading on runway 17L at KCOS indicates 250, and in flight the DG keeps slowly spinning. How could this happen? Has anyone come across this issue........whats the fix? Gyro precession is set to off.

Heya,I have recentrly reinstalled this on a new computer and am using FS9, everything seems to work fine, accept once i go to start engine 2 it just will not accept any fuel and wont burn in?its weird engine 1 works A ok, but when i run engine 2, all the packs are off, the cutoff is set to run, the fuel is all selected as flowing, but still not firing up? The engine speed runs up past the magenta line of indication, i throw the fuel in, but nothing, wont go past 15.5?Any ideas guys?Thanks! :( :( :(

Hi Folks,Post is on here as it is a busy forum- apologies if irregular.When I've tried to log in to the library this pm , I just get a message which reads 'IT WORKS!' nothing else, just that message.If I enter through 'New File listing' or suchlike, I can access the Library without problems.Probably maintenance or something, but thought I would flag it up anyway.Regards.........Stuart

I installed the new North Atlantic Mesh addon by FSGenesis a few days ago, only to discover that the default water, in combination with this addon, screws up the scenery. Every niceness of flying to Greenland has been magnificently crushed because of lakes and water extending several tens of feet into the air or vice versa. This way, i end up with mesh scenery that on the whole is good, but because it does not cure these default water anomalies, has become quite useless. Now, I was told by Justin, of FSGenesis, that he tends not to meddle with the water and such, and leaves it to other addons. the problem is that to my knowledge there is no addon that covers waterclass fo…

After reading through REX advertising and searching the forum I am trying to clarifiy the following doubts:I plan to acquire REX FS2004 version and use it in two computers - one at home and one which I use while travelling.Is it only available over an internet download? No CD or DVD version available?Will the so-called installation envelope allow it to be used in two computers?Because one of these does not have a large disk space available, is it possible to install REX in an outside drive?Have tried to address these questions to the supplier/manufacturer but could not find the way to do it. Hi all,I do a lot of flying around the UK and whilst I enjoy great scenery from UK2000 airports and GE Pro, I find the landsape is very flat. What is the best add-on to add proper mesh to the UK so it has some hills etc..I have looked at FSGenesis but its $80 so quite expensive, but is it the best or is it more for USA. Can anyone recommend anything good to give the UK some undulations?Thanks

Hi AllI've just started to get to grips with Just Flight's (PSS) Boeing 757 Professional.However, I'm having some real problems performing a standard takeoff in the 757-200 RR.I set the MCP up for a V2 of 137kts an altitude of 3500, A/T and FD engaged. I advance the throttles to 70% N1 then engage EPR. The takeoff all starts off OK with the correct EADI annunciators being displayed. However, it's at V2 where the problems start. Once airborne, the A/C accelerates like a balistic missile, continuing all the way up to approx 220kts at about 4000ft/min. The nosepitches up violently and I have to push the yoke all the way forward just to keep the angle < 20deg. If I release…

Hi guys, just found sierrafoxtrot KBWI scenery on flightsim after a long search and installed it without any problems, however when I start the scenery in the sim, it will not load. Any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Myron P.

We are all crazy about new scenery, but mostly we see it from the air, and don't really explore all the beautiful objects our enthusiastic designers have created. I love landing a plane, hitting W, and then slewing around to explore the scenery. I would love to do this with a simple figure, which doesn't need to be animated but, maybe a man or woman from Rwy 12 or similar, which I could move around in slew mode and spot view. I don't know whether any such object exists (of course you can drive a car around) or how to go about designing something to put in my Aircraft file.Any ideas or advice?Stan
