Sometimes when flying with FDC Active Cotpit and RC4 the info in the "FSUIPC Displays" disappears. Is there a key stroke to bring it back? Thanks jerrycwo4

I wonder if anyone knows of a stand-alone bit of software that would add air-stairs to jet aircraft? I don't mean moving stairs as with AES (though that would be great!) but just something that would create an image of stairs at the aircraft door. Some a/c (CLS etc.) do have this option, via an icon in the cockpit, but I assume that they are part of the model and cannot be incorporated into other planes. I wondered about trying to adapt the AES stairs - but that's a task and a half, even if it's possible, and the position would have to adaptable to fit various a/c types, (though that in itself wouldn't be too hard) - but Aerosoft may not like it anyway, copyright ot what…

Does anyone know if anyone has made night Textures for Bluesky's scenery. I love the scenery but dosn't do much good If I have to unload it everytime I fly at night. Thanks

Is it editable? The default ATC will only allow me to change my altitude during climbing/decending when I'm 200 feet away from the assigned altitude,sometimes that is just too rush for me and I want to adjust it to about 500 or 1000 so I can fly my plane smoother. (for exp,during climb it told me to climb to 8000f and will only tell me to climb higher or not if I am at least 7,800f,)Through the DME,ILS topic I can now know how to change/edit the approaches into FS9 ATC. Besides that,just want to know if I can do more than that.

I post this just in case it helps anyone in the future.. Two hours ago my FS9 worked fine, then suddenly all my keyboard shortcuts stopped working - 'P' no longer paused or unpaused the sim, 'S' didn't scroll through the views, 'Y' didn't activate Slew - etc. etc. etc. These keys worked fine in a text document, so it wasn't the keyboard itself. The usual assignments still showed in the Fs9 menu window...After some time I discovered (loads of trial and error) that when I selected FS9 native a/c, things were as they should be. But all my PMDG 737Ngs, PSS A320s etc. - all behaved as if the keyboard were unplugged. Copied over my fs9.cfg from backup (luckily made just yester…

I've found that the ATR42-300 by Francisco Sánchez-Castañer, originally for FS2002, works great in FS2004 (better, in fact, than it does if FS2002!) except for one *slight* problem. When I switch to the VC the pilot's primary flight instruments are no where to be seen! The rest of the panel is there, including the co-pilot's instruments! The space where the missing gauges should be is blank except for what looks like six holes, 4 form a square on the panel with 2 smaller ones in the center of the square.I'm using the same exact panel with Francisco Sánchez-Castañer's ATR42-500 plane, but no gauges are missing in it's VC panel. Hello everyone,I just downloaded Dennis Thompson's Timezone 3.0 (tz30.zip) here from the library and I'm confused on how to install it.Taken directly from the readme: My understanding is you create a new folder in for example C:\FS9\Addon Scenery\Scenery then copy all the files from the .zip into the newly created folder is this correct?thanks

I am currently in a full overcast at JFK however I still see the sun's reflection on the aircraft and all other objects around. Is there an option to remove the sun's reflection on objects during overcasts?

I'm guessing that I've missed something in my object libraries somewhere and I'm hoping someone might know off the top of their heads which object it is. I'm getting square trees in many of my sceneries and FSDT Hilo is no exception. Anyone know? Please advise and thanks!Mark

i currently have ground environment professional for fs9, but i do not think that its a possibility for the problem i have with my ground scenery. 1st pic: then flying over croatia enroute to Istanbul, i noticed something weird, one side of the area is covered in snow and the other is just fine. and there seems to a straight line separating it. note: this snow covered area extends all of the way to germany. 2nd pic, while flying over amsterdam, the shoreline is blocky and square like. it also seems as if the terrain was "extended"?any ideas as to what is wrong? perhaps its the fs9.cfg?

I just reloaded David Maltby's excellent BAC 1-11 and with the 200 model my engines fail on takeoff...I tried the water injection but still the engines failed...can anyone recall the remedy?I was trying to t/o from Las Vegas, not sure if the desert climate was a factor...tks!

Hello guys i just want to make a short question. In fsx inside fsx.cfg if you put under the section " display " this command :WideViewAspect=Trueyou are getting a view with a lot of wider field of view.I tried this in fs9.cfg but without any succes but i was wondering if there is any other command or any other way to get the same results into fs9 as fsx. There is a movement in Canada by the CRTC (Canadiat Radio and Television Corporation) that could lead to PAY-PER-USE Internet service (like being billed excess minutes/data on your cellphones). I have just now been dealing with an fmc problem that was never an issue before..why now i'm not sure so hopefully someone can help me..using the number keypad, I don't always have displayed the number key that is pressed. when i press 1,2,3 i get displayed 1,2,3..when i press 4,5 and 6,,,i again have displayed 1,2 and 3....when i press 7,8 and 9..displayed is 4,5 and 6...and there's no way to have displayed 7,8 or 9..... uninstalling and reinstalling hasn't helped..Thanks for any help on this.

I need a little help.Since TNCM changed its runways from 9/27 to 10/28 but all the AFCADs that I've downloaded for flytampa TNCM still using 9/27, I gave a try to change it. I downloaded the upgrade texture to change the runway number from 9/27 to 10/28 ,after that I changed the numbers of the runway using AFCAD v221,checked again if the frequencies are correct.So..any other things that I need to do to make it work?

This question is pretty random; but after a forum search without much info, I thought I'd throw it out for discussion...I own GE Pro, BirdsEyeView and one or two other ground texture packages. I was wondering if anyone had researched the differences in the autogen files that are included as part of the Textures folder? Are the they all the same? Is one set better than another? Can they be switched with any real effect?I only have a basic understanding of autogen and how it works, so I'm wondering if they can be "tweaked" somehow to add more realism to FS9?Ron

I have searched alot for this and found a few downloads that didn't work for me when i tried it before for Wilco panel and Overland model merge. I have tried this before and wasn't too good for me, anyone else use it?
