Afternoon simmers, just a quick one, i use active camera along with f1 view now want i want to ask is..... is there a way to use the mouse wheel to use the knobs on the autopilot instead of it zooming the view in and out? Hopefully someone can help me with this

OK guys - this line of trees and the odd looking control tower(?) has just appeared lying across r/w34R at KSEA (Fly Tampa scenery), since I last flew there about 2 weeks ago! I assume it is some other addon scenery causing this problem, but I am not quite sure where it has come from! Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone recognise the control tower (excluding the tree growing on the dome!)?Thanks in anticipation,Bill

hello I,m here to ask why does my ai traffic release its landing gear early before the approach because when i,m watching them land at heathrow they always release their landing gear before final approachand i really need help solving this i know its wierd but i want it like reality because i live in london and i always see heathrow aircraft flying over the capital city london and i know exactly where they should release the landingAs you can all see in the image that the a330 traffic has released its gear out to early when heathrow is about 30 miles away and the plane is not suppose to be on approach yet so if anyone has any solutions please comment back.right on the ima…

Hey guys, got a problem and need some advice, i am installing fs2004 and i got to disk 4 when at 85% it got stuck on the "same.cab". I tied cleaning the disk but no joy so i pressed ignore and it carried on with the installation got to 100% and all looks good. My concern is have i messed something up by pressing ignore? if so (im going to try and install everything else) how would i get this "same.cab" if i need it?

I have an interesting problem. I recently replaced the original sound files in the Aeroworx King Air with a new one downloaded from avsim. Everything sounds great except for one thing.If I manually start the engines as per the normal procedures, I'll get as far as moving the right condition lever to low idle, it will stabilize for a couple of seconds, then blue screen on me. Always at the same, exact time.If I use autostart (CTRL E), everything works just fine, no blue screen. I know it's a compatibility issue or conflict with the config file. I need to know where to start looking since there are tons of files in the folder. It has something to do with a sound file …

Hi guys Been simming on this new system (laptop - HP Pavilion) of mine for about a year and a half with no problems. I average about 25-40 FPS at busy airports with add-ons (scenery, ai, the whole package). Lately though my experience has been hampered by these sudden inexplicable FPS drops. They would occur for about 40 or so seconds then return to a more stable reading. I'd taxi around more then frame-rates would plummet once again to about 10 fps for another 40 seconds and once again return to normal (30-40 fps). Hello, I have a strange problem with my FS9. Mostly ATC is giving me wrong rwy for TO or landing, which doesn't correspond with actual wind. I noticed this behavior in Prague (LKPR), Frankfurt (EDDF), LAX, and Anchorage PANC. What happens - let's say the wind is 240/12. At LKPR, there's RWY 24 for this scenario, but I get RWY 31 which is shorter than 24. At EDDF, there are RWYs 25L and 25R, but I get 07L or R. LAX is similar to that. At PANC it was completely strange, because I was told to land on RWY 14 with wind from west (250 °), while departing aircraft were on 32! Just want to make sure that I'm on the right track with this. Clouds are pretty much a video card GPU load, right? I just want to make sure because I had my Radeon fry on me and had to get a video card at a moments notice, (was doing something for work at the time). The only video card that the local reseller had was an Nvidia GTS-450 so I bought it. Believe it or not, that video card really rocks with one exception...it doesn't like clouds very much. On a partly cloudy day it does well. My old i5 Core, 3.2mhz system will produce 40-50fps easily. But when the cloud cover gets much denser then that, the FPS will drop down as low as 5FPS. If you're anything like me, you may be addicted to constantly installing new AI. When it's something from The Fruit Stand or AI Aardvark, it's a done deal, already optimized for AI and unlikely to cause any significant performance issues. But what about all that other cool stuff that's not really made for AI but which you really want to see taxiing out for take off or standing on the ramp? In the past I've converted lots of aircraft to AI. Strip out the VC textures, get rid of the panel, use DXTBMP to convert textures to DXT3, AirEd to get it recognized as AI so it doesn't show up in your aircraft menu etc. As a result I have huge numbers of unique aircraft populating my …

Any idea about the PSS 777 main landing lights? Can't see them from outside. They do light up the ground.Is there some kind of lighting effect you can add too like when you look into the sun from the cockpit in FS? Like everything is bright and hazy....Daniel

There are some great sceneries on freeware. I have Project Visual Hong Kong and Thomas Kwong's VHHH (I love it!!!) as I visit that airport in real life all the time and use the rail to the city.For Rio I downloaded some sceneries (there are 2 large different ones, one called Megario) but they want you to install in the main FS scenery directory. I don't really like doing that unless it is worth it. Any tips?CheersDaniel

Let me say this about this particular a/c.It is the most over rated payware pkg I have purchased since me buying FSX.I have now shelved both of them and have asked Wilco for a refund for the 737 and they simply responded with a form letter that this is such a widely accepted pkg with numerous accolades from various reviewers.I have the PMDG 737/747/747F,LDS 767,DF727,F1 MD-80,F1 ATR,Aeroworx KA,and the Da Cheyenne payware and this pkg is not even in the same league.I have better freeware on my system than this 40.00 pkg.I am just blowing off steam here, but I was fooled with all the research I did where here my expectations were not met. I hope they will do the right thin…

I bought the CLS a few months ago and I didn't research whether it had a FMC or not. Seems like there is not too much for FS in the Airbus A330/340 range.Does anyone thing they would be willing to cough a bit of cash (like $100) or volunteer some effort to make a new payware (so our money is returned to us)) Airbus. Someone said they would like to merge the Wilco Aibus with the CLS (which has a wonderful exterior and sound package). But putting those two together would not guarantee us having a perfect flight model.At this stage I am just wondering to see how much interest this generates. There are more than 700 A330s worldwide now with lots of routes being primarily flow…

Question.Can Fly Tampa or Nine Dragons have Kai Tak represent the current day land which used to be Kai Tak? I fly current day ops and love Thomas Kwong's VHHH as well as PVHK.Would love to hear any tips. I also have the HK autogen but some buildings are very inaccurate. ThanksDaniel

I have tryed som "missions" in FS2004. I take of from Merrill airport in Anchorage (Canada) and fly to a lake where I´m supposed to pick up some fishers and fly dem back to Anchorage. But these fishers never appears and i dont get any notis if they ar on board or not.In another almost similar "mission" I´m supposed to take som kajak-guys and their gear to a lake, in my flight description it say that when the passengers and their gear are off the plane you can fly back to anchorage. but I never see any passengers not in the airplane while flying or where I´m supposed to set them off.Is that how it should be or am I missing something ?Regards.Johnze
