Hello to all,I'm sorry to say we are having issues with our website today, it's a problem our ISP is having with its network configuration. While we wait for the problem to be fixed, we put an emergency backup page here:http://www.virtualis...sdt_backup.html The FSDT website outage won't affect Purchases and products Activation in any way, since they are all on Esellerate, it won't affect downloads, since they are all on Mediafire, and won't affect support via Email, since our mail is on the Virtuali website. The only service that will be down until the FSDT site will be back up, it's the Forum.

Hi guys, as some of you might know, Frankfurt am Main (EDDF) mostly got its new runway. I'm wondering whether Aerosoft is planning to get that changes (rather big ones, so saying it's too small to get changed in FS is ridiculous) online in FS. Is there an update or a completely new 2012 version planned or nothing at all (Would be a shame!!)? Do you know something about this?I know this should rather been posted in the Aerosoft forums but I don't want to make an account used once in a lifetime.

Hi guysKeep getting crashes at above airport, using FS9.1, Active Sky, Flight Environment and Ground Environment. Used Filemon and nearly all of the entrys are "SUCCESS" However looking back after the crash it says Files not found for 019B2WA1.BMP ( water file), and Texture CAB. Now I thought these were in the world Scenery folder, I searched the FT KBOS texture folder and they do not reside there, they are in my Scenery world folder.Question:- Why would FS9 look for above files in KBOS folder?, and could this be causing my crash, Also had a d3d9.dll in the FS9 message box on the crash for some reason? Could these be false negatives?Any help would be appreciate…

Hello to all,Today , i am experiencing a very weird way that FS9 start.When I click on the .exe, all is fine, until FS9 suppose to show me the screen where I choose my airport, plane, time ect...now instead FS9 go to minimize mode. the only way to bring him up, is by pressing the "ALT" key.After that the screen is up, I cannot see my plane at all, that window at the bottom, where the aircraft is suppose to show is black.the other weird item is when I select any, and I really say any because I have tried lots of them, the only option I get when I select the airport is the position of the active runways.Now once I selected the active Runways, and FS9 load, I can then change…

I have FSG installed and a few other scenery files for the area installed, but for some reason my coastlines are square (blocks). The US coastlines are fine leaving KMIA. I flew down to the Virgin Islands and they are fine aswell. It's just the Bahamas. It was this way with the default scenery aswell that's why I installed the FSG landclass and some other sceneries for the area. Any thoughts ??Thanks, Dan K

During the last 2 flights, I have received a rather strange C++ runtime error that immediately closes fs9. It has happened on the 2 past flights. There is a consistancy to the issue. Both times, I have been using PMDG aircraft, ActiveSky Evolution, FSRealtime, FS2Crew, my airlines ACARS, and Flying into and the out of TXKF (Bermuda.) No funny business about the Bermuda Triangle...ok. The inconsitant part is that the First time it happened, I was watching a replay of my landing into Bermuda. This last time, I was departing out of Bermuda. I also had a strange meesage from ActiveSky stating that my computer clock was wrong and that it ignoring over 3000 reports, but …

Yet again after a long flight I got an OOM just south of the OGINA intersection on UN852 (south of AMS). This is a repeating error. I have removed all addons for the area except for Ultimate Terrain Europe. I run FS9 in XP with 3GB RAM enabled, 2.8 GHz, lots of HDD. I have 19m NEXT FSG mesh for European countries installed.I just completed a round the world tour with IVAO in the same plane without a single OOM error or crash of any kind!What must I do to stop these OOMs in Europe? I have read dozens of threads and followed many suggestions. Should I reinstall FS9 on W7? Or should I call it quits with FS9 in Europe and wait for X-plane 10. FSX is beyond my PC's abil…

Hi guys,Recently downloaded the beautiful Dash 7 (d7vcmdla).It is great, particularly the Brymon textures which are promenent where I live.What intrigues me is what are the appendages just outboard of the engines.They look like air refueling housings or missile pods.Anybody have any ideas please ?Thanks a lot,Dave

I have a pretty nice PC (you can see my specs below), and recently I switched back to FS9 for IFR flights. I was using the Captain Sim 757 for FS9 and I was cruising somewhere over Western Germany (going from EGSS to UBBB) when I got this 'out of memory, FS will shut down' etc. error. This happened twice in a row, around the same area I believe. I googled it and seems like it used to be pretty common, but I have no idea why a machine of this caliber would go through this on FS9...I don't think I have any big addons for that area other than UT Europe and GE. I also made my paging file size bigger and that didn't seem to fix it either. What would cause this? Do you think i…

Hello simmers, just wondering if the Aerosoft DHC-6-300 can be made compatible with FS9? It's used in FSX and if it can be flown on FS9 can anyone tell me how to fix it so it can be flown on FS9. I know theres some planes that are flown both on FS9 and FSX so I was hoping this plane can be flown on FS9. thanks much if anyone can make it compatible with FS9

HiI usually fly with the cockpit outside view set to 75%. This setting saves when I save the flight - but in the other views, left, right, rear etc, the setting isn't saved, so I am always having to manually adjust these after I've reloaded the flight. Is there a way save these as well? Flying the default C172.CheersJont

Hi Folks, Please see the attached jpeg of the ATR 72-500 on my screen. As you can see in the image the lower part shown on the left in the tutorial, is not available on the actuial pedastal on the aircraft. Hi everyone,while browsing around the posts here, I noticed how some people were discussing what happens when there is a LOT of addon scenery installed.My question isn't so much about what the maximum number of layers is with FS still working properly -- (that would still be an interesting aspect though, so feel free to answer and let's find out who has the most sceneries installed ). HiIs there a 'switch' in an ai cfg file to detect collisions with the user aircraft?I fly the 'default' C172 and it detects contact with some ai and with some others it doesn't. For example TFS aircraft are all detected - but the HTAI C130 and Shorts 360 (the only HTAI tested), are not. Perhaps the detection is 'hard-coded' by the designer? (I must say - I take my 'flying' seriously and don't go round 'crashing' into everything - but I once 'flew' straight through an HTAI aircraft which prompted some testing with others...........)Any thoughts on this please?CheersJont

I used to be able to move up/down/left/right in the Virtual Cockpit by using the corresponding arrow keys on my keyboard (possibly on the Numeric Keypad, with or without NumLock, I don't recall now). Now this doesn't work, with any of the arrow keys, Numeric Keypad or main Keyboard, NumLock On or Off. I can pan around, but only from the perspective of the captain's seat - I can't shift my viewpoint position. This was really useful - how would I get the feature back?Martin

Hi. I have an addon airport (SBGL) at which ATIS calls out just two runways (02L & 02R), neither of which exist there. ATC uses the correct runways (10 & 15) when directing me to taxi however. I have searched the forum, but can't see how to correct this information. It is obviously not due to an AFCAD designed to allow use of multiple runways, as those are the only two runways ATIS mentions. Anyone able to help?Thanks,Martin
