Hey everyone! I checked on the WILCO Forums but got nothing but I am experiancing a problem with the Wilco A320 for FS2004. When im on a pproach and when I'm using the ILS it will allign with the runway properly but then it will just turn left some how and miss the centre line. Makes it look all weird and crappy. Yes I know wilco is crap but sadly i'm stuck with it. I'm hoping to get the A320 by Airsimmer if I can get it (If you know what I mean ;) )

Hi all Is there perhaps a free update to update the waypoints in fs9?If it doesn't have all the waypoints as the AIRAC cycles, it's no problem. But a simple update from the original fs9 would make a huge difference! Thanks!

Hello AllSome of my aircraft have both audible and visual altitude alerts.On the aircraft that only have visual I would like to add audible as well.I thought it would be a matter of checking the panel CFG of an aircraft with audible sounds and adding the appropriate lines to my plane,but I've had no joy so far.I did try installing Glenn Copeland's altitude alerter gauge which would be fine but unfortunately unlike Glenn,s other fine gauges this one simply won't work.This post is becoming long winded...I need an audible altitude alerter gauge please.cheers Andy

Hello, I tested some with fs earth tiles, when i export an area with DownloadResolution = -1 (very high) the folders: scenery and texture are about 1 MB (in the program says: est. scenery size: 151MB) When i fly in FS2004 with this exported scenery, the detail level is not high.. there is something wrong.. In the workfolder, the areaphoto is about 94MB and very high res. like i wanted to!... pls who can help me

Morning all, been using Avsim for many years and seems to be the place to get some actual support for FS9, so thought i'd join you fine people! I purchased Eiresim's Luton scenery only yesterday through Simmarket, however due to a dodgy third party addon I had to instantly reinstall FS and start afresh. When trying to reinstall Luton however, I keep getting an error that the details I enter are incorrect, naturally, I head over to Eiresim's website, which I see has been taken down and no traces have been left such as a contact email. Hello all, I was currently browsing through the the new paints for PAD, and I found the new BAe 146-200 livery for Bulgaria Air (IATA:FB) . Anyway, I've been using the WOAI package for FB, but its a 2009 version, which doesn't include the new airplanes that FB received (they got 6 Airbuses, 3 A319 and 3 A320). It only includes the older 737 Classics, the BAes, and some ATRs, all in the old livery. So, I was wondering if anyone came upon some new (meaning mid-2010-present) AI flight plans/aircraft which I can use to replace the WOAI. Hi. I have had the Fly Tampa OMBD scenery for years and never fixed this issue. When I arrive at OMDB and come off the runway, most of the taxiway textures disappear to be replaced by flickering ground textures. See screenshot: Has anyone else had this at this airport (and fixed it!)? I Googled it but didn't find much, except that Aerosoft Manhattan scenery can cause some airports to do this (I have posted on that subject before myself): but with Manhattan disabled in scenery.cfg, I still get this awful 'peeling back' of the ground as I taxi off the runway. Is it possible to extract or obtain a list of the stock airports in the FS9 scenery default folder which appear as "APxxxxxx,bgl for any given area? I see those default stock airports that are outdated when compared to Navigraph chartds and also appear in FSNavigator; for some reaseon they not excluded properly by the developer's payware airports product. 2004 flight sim was missing something so I removed and reinstalled it and every thing seems to work except all planes with brakes will not release with numb er one button or ctrl + . ,I just cant find out what is causing the brakes to stay on, I loaded the sim on my laptop and it's the same thing the brakes won't release, any help thanks

Hello - can anyone tell me or point me to where I can find all the updates that have been released for FS2004? I have just reinstalled the original program (I'm not sure if there were deluxe,premium etc versions but mine just says version 9.00 in the About Flight Simulator dropdown)....the graphics just look big and blocky but I remember them being a lot crisper...thx

Hello everyone, I'd like to know how to change the HZ rate.My monitor is on 120 HZ , but when I press "alt" or open the map in the flight simulator, it takes 1 to 3 seconds to switch.It's like the screen switches resolutions, without changing resolution. I assume the menu and the actual render have different refresh rate.And the options config didn't show me any HZ rate. What do I do? On that note, are there any "must have" add-ons that I should get? (Preferrably free ones)

Has anyone noticed that some of the default Garmin 500 approaches at EDDH are not being flown properly? I was on the LBE approach to runway 15 which had a smooth DME arc transitioning from a northern heading to the south facing ILS at runway 15. (I was on route from EDLW).The aircraft was about to fly the GPS transition when it decided to ignore the arc and headed directly for the runway's ILS. The avionics were set to GPS (not NAV) so I assumed that it would follow the transition as shown in the GPS by the little white flight path line :)Mark

Hello FolksLast night I created a flightplan from EGCC (MANCHESTER UK) to LFKS (SOLENZARA) I create my plans from runway to runway, I select 5L from EGCC to 18 LFKS I select my aircraft ,I select autoroute ,i hit button . This how I always (and without problems create my plans). When I check over the created plan I notice that FSNav has given me a cruse altitude of max 5000ft (not the 31000ft I selected) I tried low,high and nav to nav aid options ,I tried inserting the cruise alt manually ,but no matter what I tried 5000ft was the max cruise alt FSNAV would set. I found the only way i could get the correct alt was to NOT specify a dep runway and just insert EGCC itself (…

HI;Just getting back into FS after a hiatus of 2 years thereabouts.How do you ensure that the FS9 settings default to your current date and time. Hello FolksFor years I have run FS9 with 1GB of ram. On the whole I am satisfied with the performance I get, however like must of us hapless sim addicts I am always thinking of those extra frames and smoothness of operation.My question is will I really notice any performance increase in FS If I add another 1GB stick of ram?.I am reluctant to spend about 60quid for the ram, AND to have to junk two perfectly fine 512k sticks (my motherboard only has two slots)If the performance increase is negligible.cheers Andy PS I notice there are various different types of DDR ram for my board.Can somebody explain these differences ie my current two sticks are something like 2100 - …

I tried to move the B-200 King Air 350 for FS2004 to FSX and it seemed to load OK but he GAUGES would not load. I tried to copy all of the gauges for this aircraft from the FS2004 gauges folder to the FSX gauges folder but they still did not show up. Could someone tell me how to get the gauges for the B-200 King Air 350 to show up in FSX/ Thanks jerrycwo4

Did a flight from KSFO to KABQ. I have AI traffic mix of WOAI, Alpha India, ultimate traffic and some that I have done myself. So I'm 5 th in line to take off from 28L Two planes in front of me is a beech 1900 waiting to taxi into position and hold. It receives instructions to line up. From there it just launches off the taxi way over 28L and 28R goes airborne out into the bay around 500 ft drops into the water circles back around in the water comes back to 28L turns to the runway heading out in the bay. Comes back up on land then takes off. All other AI take off just fine including another beech 1900. I don't know if the plane received ATC instruction right when it was…

I know from reading past forums virtually everyone raves about how good REX is, but I am still debating if I really do need it. I have already got installed Zinertek's Ultimate Water Advanced and Ultimate Night Environment 2010 for the water and night textures plus the freeware HD environment for the sky and clouds, so I am wondering if having REX instead will greatly make a lot of difference? I must admit I am tempted by purchasing REX although it is still a little pricey at the moment, I was hoping that it was on offer on Simmarket like the X Plane version then I think I would have bought it, but at the moment I just cannot make my mind up...
