ATC keeps telling aircraft that they are at the wrong flight level "descend (ascend) and maintain Flight Level 570" FL570, for "Fokker 382" (for instance)??! Is this fixable by editing a file somewhere? I can't remember/find where this information is stored. Thanks. Martin

I haven't flown the Alphasim Saab Gripen in a real long time and I forgot how to set up the plane so I can get it in the air and it flies right. I went to read the manual but I could not find it. I must of deleted it by mistake. Does anyone know if I can donwload the manual from anywhere? Or maybe someone could email me the manual?

I have been a fan of PF2000/PFE for years and virtually always fly with its implentation (Both FSX and FS9 with speech recognition). However, I am always open to a better mousetrap and some of the posts regarding VOXatc interest me. My fear is that if I make this post on the VOXatc forum that replies might be pointed only to what is favorable. AVSIM replies hopefully might be slightly more objective, so I chose to post here. 1. I do wish that VOXatc could be installed on a secondary computer but my understanding is that VOXatc must be installed on the primary. Ground handling personel--any known textures out there I could add to airports using EZ scenery or Rnw12? I'm talking about where at some airports you see guides (with florescent vests) who stand at the wingtips of aircraft and basically walk with the aircraft as it is pushed back or entering gates. Can I still get the Alphasim Typhoon anywhere? I found a link to one that was was for FS2002, but I don't think that is the newest one. The paints I am finding on avsim have differently named textures and different cfg entries than the one I found. I've suddenly had an issue I've never seen mentioned before and, what's more, can't find reference to, at least on search terms I used. Given my poor choice of terms, a picture might be a good thing! The issue here is the unnatural clustering of default autogen buildings. Firstly, they are not arranged in the usual halfway logical way, in grids or along lines, but appear to have been flung onto the landscape in random blobs, often with buildings overlapping each other. Secondly, the location shown is outback Australia, and there should be no buildings in sight - I know, I made the landlass and have used it in earlier FS9 installations with no issues. I have a number of aircraft that just refuse to turn properly - I am always running them into the grass, even though I taxi so, so slowly with them. The nosewheel max turning angle in the aircraft.cfg contact pioints section is already at 70 degrees or thereabouts - any higher than that creates problems. I have looked through the aircraft.cfg SDK document, but haven't come up with anything else. I thought there was a 'turning effectiveness setting', in the same way as there's one for brakes, or spoilers. Maybe not... Any ideas? Thanks, Martin

Hi all First, I have no idea this is the correct forum for this question, if not do apologize. After installing the Aerosoft addon for Madrid-Barajas airport, I flew from EBBR to LEMD. Radar contact vectored me to land at runway 36. But as I wanted to press the APP button to capture the glideslope (PMDG 747), I got an FMC message which said 'invalid nav'. After checking I saw there was nothing in the nav radio (keep in mind I already selected the appropriate runway in the dep/arr page). I opened 'map' via the FS-menus, looked it up and the frequency said 0.00. So there must be some error. I rebuilded the scenery databases after installing. Ps, I have no idea this error al…

Hi all I am flying the great russian AN-12 plane in FS2004. The problem I have is that I try to set the course for the ILS/HSI for ILS approaches but when I put my mouse on the knob, nothing happens. I then tried the lower left of the gauge to get the + and - to show up but when I click nothing happens. Does anyone have any idea how to set it ? Many thanks...JB

Hello everyone, I have installed V.Zhyhulskiy's quite wonderful AN-12 package, which I am somewhat indulgently using as an AI aircraft. Problem is (as the screen shot shows), once the aircraft is airborne, the Chocks seem to be floating around at the base of aircraft. I have rummaged through the manual and can't seem to find a way to delete them. Has anyone any bright ideas how to remove them ? They are permantly attached to the wheels when the aircraft is parked, on taxying and take-off too.Many thanks Tristan.

On this website http://www.flightinfo.jp/FS_KBT/dai.htm there is links for a Kawasaki T-4 for FS2004. Where can I find this plane? I found a FSX version but no FS9 version. When I clcik on the T-4 link it says the page was deleted or changed.

Hi all. Just wondering if any fellow VPAer is using the CH-throttle together with PMDG or PMDG/POSKY merge. I currently use the merge, but I the autospoilers hasn´t been working properly for years.. For a period it would sometimes snap into extended position on touchdown and very seldom actually deploy properly. Nowadays nothing happens at all when landing. Works fine when airborne. Here are my settings... Does anyone have input on this? Here are my settings: CH control panel FSUPIC Controls-->Sensitivities I have tried fiddling with Null Zone, with no result. I've been trying to load the Feelthere B777, 2 days later I found out that the aircraft I've got is the Feelthere B772 ER!! Has anyone else got this aircraft? If so is it better than the Wilco feelthere B777? It's a funny old world Ken

For those of you who are interested in an accurate set of flight dynamics for the 757- I've uploaded a revised set of FD for the PSS 757 - file name "pss_757_modified_fd2.zip. This is a revision of my version1. I use the QW model (payware) with the PSS panel (payware) and my revision of the original PSS flight dynamics - a wonderful combination. These FD are more accurate than those of QW and also those of CS for FS2004. I've totally reworked the thrust settings and pitch attitudes bringing the FD in line with the figures given in the official 757 FCOM. Enjoy. Trevor

HiFirst, I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Second, I'm looking for a replacement of the REX Engine. It doesn't seem to work.Whenever I load it up to download the weather, it downloads but it's always clear everywhere in the world.And as the real world weather function of FS9 itself is kind of erratic and changes from perfect visibility tocomplete fog in the blink of an eye, I'm really looking forward to a realistic engine.Thanks!

Hello everyone, I'm having some sound issues which only occur in cockpit view.It's a micro sound stuttering, sometimes accompanied by the panels flashing. I mean, the sections of the panels that which show Engine usage and such.Like, in commercial airliners, where it's with green colors, digital. But also happened in other planes.It does never happen in outside view, though. At first I thought it would be only the Simmer's Sky planes having too accurate cockpit views that my PC cant handle, but that doesnt seem to be the case.It appears to not depend on the aircraft or weather.I Have tried disabling some landscape add on, but it seems to not have affected it at all, unles…

Hi Simmers, George Clark on board with a question. I have been simming for several years never had this problem. I need some help. I have FS9 and FSX both were working ok. I updated my navdata to 1110 recently and now I can't see any navdata or sidstars info. The FMC indicates Navdata Installtion Required. I have the FS9 on my C drive in the folder FS Games\Flight Sim 9. I can see this is where Navigraph downloaded the files for Navdata and Sidstars. But for some reason they aren't loading on the PMDG files.All of these worked before I updated my ver. to 1110. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem? I can't fly the PMDG aircraft. Recently bought the boxed version of ifly 737 for FS9 and also the FS2 Crew button/voice control editions, the version I have is 1.6 but the manual says I need service pack 2 or later. I cannot seem to find it anywhere but I am obviously looking in the wrong places, can someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction please? Thanks!
