I've installed this download & see a lot of the textures don't show up......2 chimney's are blank & the pot on another is white.Wood decking, etc is the same. I've installed the 'missing textures' download too. Is anyone else having the same trouble?Thanks.

Only the letter E will not work when entering a waypoint in the default GPS. I have checked the assignment keys in the FS9 menu and cannot see anything assigned to that letter. I have checked "share push to talk" in squawkbox in case and gone to default keys in squawkbox. I can enter the letter E everywhere else (IE in chat box of Squawkbox).Thanks for taking time to reply.

Hi all,I recently installed the Ibiza scenery from Aerosoft. But when I use it in combination with FsPassengers and land at the airport, I get a penalty for running over the edge of the runway, while in fact I was not. Thisi results in feared passengers, damage to the gear and thus heavy penalty points.This problem also occurs at EBBR, also an add-on scenery (Mega Airport Brussels).I've done a rebuild of the databases, ran the recent MakeRunways, but nothing helped.Any suggestions how to solve this?Thanks!

I know there is a line in the FS9 .cfg file where one can set the default fuel load to something other than 100%. And another line to speed up the 'PAN RATE" in the VC. Can someone tell me what the lines are. I did this once years ago before I upgraded to WIN 7... but can't seem to find the places now.Thanks..Bill

Im just looking for some direction towards removing FS2004 off my XP setup. I wish to remove all root registrys of FS2004 and have a fresh install of everything, this would include AES credits i have entered. If i was to install FS9 again and not remove all root directorys prior to doing so, my credits would not work plus i wish to apply them to new airports hence another reason to fresh install the whole FS9 setup. I have uninstalled EVERY trace of FS2004 and addons from my PC but i know everything i have every installed with key codes etc will still exist so this would futhermore support my reason to ask for some help in being able to do this cleanly.Helpers welcome....…

I am about to re-install fs9 because I was having problems with FSDT KORD, the dreaded ctd involving G3D.dll and mfc70.dll. I believe the ctd was caused by an overlap of AFCAD and ADE that I tried to use to get ai aircraft off the runway quicker at departure. I had read a post somewhere that upgrading AFCAD would reduce time ai spent getting off the runway. Too often an ai would get clearance for takeoff, taxi onto the active runway, and then creep....creep....creep....until finally stopping, then begin the takeoff roll. Of course the aircraft arriving, who was 9 miles out on final now has to go around because it took this departure so much time to get going. I see it mos…

First I'd like to say I've just finished a system upgrade with the help and advice of people here and wanted to say thanks, it a really nice system and the fastest I've ever had.There's just one thing, I have been seeing really strange ground textures lately and was wondering if one of you kind simmers can help. It's as if the AA is set too high and everything is getting blurry at a low altitude.I seem to remember others have had this issue and it was simply a setting in FS9 or the video driver. I installed the B200 in FS2004 on my W7 PC. When I try to select the settings from the Aeroworx menu item on the Flight Simulator toolbar at the top of the screen, my display goes black and I have to use task manager to quit FS2004! The settings menu allows the selection of the B200 authorized sevice center. I installed the B200 from the Flight1 CD. The B200 works flawlessly on my XP PC. Has anyone experienced this problem? Any suggestions on how this could be fixed?Thanks for your help!Airbus

Hi there,I have the Samsoft Taipei scenery (purchased, I believe, many years ago) and have noticed that some of the taxiways exhibit the behaviour of rough ground when you taxi over them (high thrust needed, and 'dust' clouds coming from the wheels). Also some of the runway textures disappear when rolling down them.I know this is some kind of flatter/elevation problem, but don't know how to fix it. I have a flatten program, but I don't think it will do the trick. As far as I know there is no Samsoft Scenery website or forum, but would not expect to get help there anyway after all this time.Anyone with a suggestion on how I might fix it? Thanks,- daniel

Good morning,I bought some weeks ago the Mega Airport Barajas (LEMD) by Aerosoft, and I can only say it is an amazing rendition of the real thing.Just one problem, when approaching the airport (say 4 miles out) dynamic objects (buildings and other things) start to pop up like mushrooms after the rain, giving a very unrealistic sensation, even the runways are only clearly drawed when being very very close.I know that behaviour is for performance helping, but is there any way to make those objects permanent?Expert help will be very appreciated. I've just completed a flight in the Feelthere E190 E-Jet from Quito to Loja (SETM) in Ecuador.This has been virtually impossible to do properly in FS9 as good charts for SEQU SIDs are hard to come by, and no info of any kind is available for SETM that I could find.Another problem is that in FSNav and FSC the ICAO code is SETM but in the E-Jets nav database it is SECA (i.e. Camillo Ponce Airport) for some reason. So you can't import an FS Flight plan.However I changed the ICAO code in the nd.mdb Feelthere nav database. So now you can use it if you replace the attached file and (after backing up, copy this file into C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FeelTh…

Spent last night going through ALL my AI and changing all my CO planes to United textures and United Callsign...Very sad after being CO elite for 12+ years to finally see the name gone but if it is United in the RW I prefer it to be United in the sim... Weird to taxi around KEWR and see and hear UNITED instead of CO but was a long time in the coming...Oh the times they are always changing....

Hello, can somebody please advise if there is a sound bug in 2004,when i am in the cockpit of some 2004 aircraft there is a crackling vibrating sound that will not go even after a complete re-install,i know it is not my system because in fsx it is perfect even if the sound is turned right up,many thanksjames.

I've been happily flying FS2004 for many years but only until recently have I run into a big problem. Now whenever I try to add another scenery it shows up in the list but when I restart to add to the scenery.cfg its not in the library anymore. I can't seem to add any more than the 1,090 entries in my scenery library. I have tried erasing the fs9.cfg in the fs9 folder. I have also tried the following: When your in FS9 and SCENERY LIBRARY...-Click the scenery you want to add-Click OK-It will go into the sub directory-Click the "up one level" button-Repeat until all you files are added! Something strange has happend to my FS9!The default Boeing 737 use SimIcons.cab for the icons on the 2D-panel.But now I cant see the icons any more. When I switch to SimIcons1024.cab I can see the icons again.I use FSPanelStudio to shift the icons and in FSPanelS I can see the icons from both Simicons.cab and SimIcons1024.cab.My OS is WinXP 32bit.I do have same problems in other panels, I can see the gauges in FSpanelStudio but not in FS9.What has happend?Or what should I do to see the gauages again?/Jonny

Gents/Ladies, I have been admonished for not uploading this utility as an FS9 program. Unfortunately AVSIM do not have a FS General category, and so one has to choose one or the other, ie. FSX or FS9. It's a tad ironic we chose FSX, as the program was initially designed to work on my system. Which, although I have FSX and FS9 installed.Is used exclusively in FS9 mode, reason being, a helluva lot of Payware, ease of use(familiarity), and time and effort put into the Sim. I'll try and keep this simple. (first attempts on all of the following) I've just built a small airport using Afcad, Fs Flatten, and Exbuilder. I then thought It would be nice to put some Ai movment on it. I used YRoute to make a simple first attempt at Ai traffic which involved the default Ai Dash 8-100 taxing from it's parking space to the runway, taking off, doing a circuit of the airfield and landing again then going back to it's parking spot. Now it taxis and goes down the runway at ground level then takes off but on landing it goes down the runway and taxiway about two or three feet off the ground.
