Hi!Out of nowhere I can't seem to shift the FS2004 view from top-down to level view when Isimultaneously use AFCAD or AFX. It seems that something is gone missing in the sim or system.Can anyone help?If so, I'll be very grateful.Thanks beforehand.Hans HermanssonSweden

Hi,In FS9 the graphics tend to flicker more than often when the engines of the aircraft are running, by this i mean everything from ground to other aircraft and scenery too... I have Mip mapping set to 4 and the filter is set to trilinear.My system specs if this helps are as followsIntel core i7-2600 cpu @ 3.40GHZRAM :8GB64 bit os, using Windows 7 homeGraphics card: Nvidia GeForce GT545 with up to date drivers.help and suggestions would be appreciatedMany Thanks

Having messed up my files with some carelessness the best solution is a re-install but when clicking on FS9 in thee list in "Start/Programs it said that this would uninstall a bit of freeware scenery, and not FS9.Stupidly or not I went ahead, removing goodness knows what, and now I have FS9 installed with no Uninstall.exeWhat can I do?

Dear friends,I have a problem concerning the beautiful Carenado Archer II for FS2004.In the VC view there is an immense gap between the left edge of the "glass" and the right edge of the center windshield strut. It actually looks like the "glass" of the windscreen is shifted off to the right. I have 10 aircraft from Carenado. They work fine, except for this certain issue.At first glimpse I thought it could be caused by an extraordinary eyepoint. But I don't use TrackIR or something like that. I only use the F1View-module (freeware) in VC. The gap is only visible fom inside in VC view.As far as I'm concerned, the trouble isn't caused by the reflection-texture for the wind…

Some of them have big FPS issues though which can spoil the fun. At least, that's the case for the FSX versions. Not sure how the FS2004 version fares.

After staring FS9.exe, I can see the loadscreen loading, and one sec later FS exits.I didn't install anything new.Running Win XP pro.What can be the cause?

Hi,FS2004 is lagging too much on my computer even getting a new computer. My computer is aHP PavilionMicrosoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bitAMD Athlon II X2 2153.0GB RAMand my graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430I like having sceneries like UK2000 Heathrow and Gatwick and I have World of AI for my traffic.I have my FPS at unlimited and brought my traffic down to 15%.I've also got few sceneries but not loads so is there a way to make my FS2004 not to lag so much?Thanks

Hello,If you don't know fs9 Toolbox, it is a small add-on that adds some features to fs9 (more information here).I am planning to continue the development of this product, but I will do it only if some people are interested in some new features. So today the question is: Would you be interested in a load/save feature that lets you save and load the current settings?This feature exists in FSX, the goal is to do the same in fs9, letting you define some settings (display settings, sound settings, realism settings, ...), save them as a named configuration to let you load them later.Any feedback is greatly welcome.Thanks,Eric

Hey guys,I just noticed that my tooltips are no longer showing up when I mouseover gauges in FS9 running on Win 7 x64. Previously they'd show up and give me the exact values for most of the analog instruments (ie. RPM gauge, fuel gauge, etc.)Has anyone else seen this? How did you get the tooltips back again?Thanks,DanDoh! There's a setting under "general" -- show cockpit tooltips -- it was turned off. I don't recall ever turning that off... at least the fix was easy.

Hi there, Im used to flying 757's on fs9 QW and CS, and i normally reuce to idle at around 10-30ft when flaring. This normally makes a good touchdown on the 75 as its easy to land with the double rear bogies unlike the 737. I've recently switched to the NG 738, Ifly's model, which is superb for Fs9 (Wished the NGX 737 was avalible for fs9) I flare and reduce power at 10-30ft but on the 737 the flare seems to take a while before the wheels touch down, or even in some cases i gain alttitude. Whats a good flaring height for the throttle back in a 737? Cheers, Tom

is there a program i can use that will show on a map or not. Airports i can land at/ destinations in each state etc.? basicaaly planing a world tour,wanting to start tonight. But i dont really know if i can plan out my destinations and takeoffs if i dont know where im going to be landing in each state.. ill be starting at lambert-st.louis international airport -flying to somewhere in Illinois for my first leg/or indianapolis

I have been using the demo versions of Calgary International, Miramichi Airport, and St Stephen Airport. I know that in order to get rid of the demo signs you have to donate, but how do you do that? Is there a web site you have to go to or something like that? Im considering the purchase of active sky evolution, however already having AVSV is it justifiable? Is active sky evolution only an interface upgrade(new look) or does it depict weather better?I have had years of enjoyment with avsv, but im feeling a weather program upgrade is due.Thanks.

I can screw up an anvil with a rubber mallet!I lost my basic 747-400 aircraft file that came with FS9.1. Is there a place where I can download it or do I reinstall FS9?2. If I reinstall FS9, does that overwrite everything and I loose all of my addons?THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Hello, i recently bought the PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies Add- onn for Fs2004. The CD and Registration key Validated but, when I go to the License Agreement and accept and proceed to next it says, Installation cannot continue. You do not have Flight Simulator Installed. But I have both FSX and FS9 installed. I have tried running the Registery Repair but that has not helped. I have PMDG's 737 and Beech 1900 Add-ons and they both work and were installed perfectly I could really use some help.Thanks,Jamieleon1

Does anyone know what causes this problem? As you can see, a gate showed up at the holdpoint on KSEA runway 34R. I'm using the default airport. The only thing I recall doing is installing FSDT scenery updates and installing a SP1 to F1 S80.I remember reading, some time back, how scenery at one location can cause this problem at KSEA. I thought it had something to do with KORD? I've searched this forum, the FSDT forum, and the Flytampa forum and can't find the topic on this. I have recently added the Cessna Citation Sovereign to my list of aircraft. When flying I get a loud buzzing sound (not sure but seems to be associated with the flaps).Could someone please tell me what this sound denotes, and how I can disable it.Any help would be much appreciatedregardsBrian
