Re-installed this airport several months ago on new PC.Airport opened for the first time since then.Seem that there is an elevation problem near the small Yacht harbour included in this scenery.Bridge ends in the water and also the water dips in a waterfall to a lower level.As it is near this harbour I think that this causes the issue.Please see attached photo.Is there a solution to this problem, for example a "flatten".

Morning NZ time all !! Am hoping I may have overlooked this and someone has done a scenery addition for the new pier at YMML, I use A Virtual Melbourne Tullamarine its quite a good scenery for the price but now there is a new pier off the international terminal and as Air New Zealand use these gates quite regularly I would like to add it. Has anyone seen or know if there is a new scenery patch coming up or is out that adds this ?? Thanks for any help. Cheers Mark

I have recently done a new FS9 install and because I have little free time (and am a little older and wiser) I am adding things slowly: previously I would just throw everything I had into it and hope for the best.I have UT Euro, US and Canada, and because the world doesnt look the same allover like Microsoft thinks, I use FScene in Euroland, BEV in the US and use one of the VOZ sets when I fly in Brasil: even at airliner height I can "See" that I am somewhere else. And I use REX.I have a cupla questions:I have never used the REX airport and landing lights option: do they overwrite commercial addons? I am using W7. I accidentally hit some wrong key combinations and now my fs9 displays are in the upper left corner of the screen. Acouple of years ago I did the same dumb trick. That time it was with Win XP. Some kind soul bailed me out. I looked around the help files in win 7 and couldn't find anything. There was a key combination that I was able to use to center the display for fs9. The rest of the game works OK. It is just with the various screens starting with the main one that are displaced. I hope someone can come up with the way to move things to the center like they shoiuld be. Thanks in advance.Regards, Paul

I have QW 757 running with REX 2004. The nav lights are really big! I ran the lighting mod on REX but still have very large nav lights.

Hi AllI was looking for some help from the knowledgeable masses on here!For as long as I can remember, my ground textures just look horrible.I have several add on products, a decent spec PC/graphics set up, and it's really bugging me!When in spot view mode, the ground/sea textures are blocky and awful, and take ages to render. HiI have airbus longhaul collection installed on my pc. After loading a flightplan and flight nothing happens, but when I want to view my plane(A330) from the outside or use any other view such as looking to my right or left, I get a error message saying' FS9 has encountered an error and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience' causing me to restart my game everytimeWhat can the cause of this be? Do I have to re-install my game and add-on. I play it on a Lenove B450 laptop with a Mobile Intel® 4 series express chipset driver.

Hello,I have the following system:i5 2500k ( not overclocked yet)8GB RAMGTX 460Asus Gene IV moboPlanning to run FS9 and FSX on the same system. Was a FS9 user for years and recently upgraded my system to run FSX well.Since there was some good add-ons for FS9 that i still wanted to use , i decided to put both sims on the computer .However i found some weird issues.In FS9 , i set up the Nvidia Inspector AA settings to 8sQ ( other settings correctly set as per the Insepctor set up guide) - major shimmering textures , autogen and jagged textures. Hi everybodyI've just been contributing to a thread on Bryan's FS2Crew board where the topic of PMDG's MD-11 sales was raised, with the opinion that they were a bit of a disappointment. Although I own all the usual suspects in the complex heavy metal department, I find myself using the MD-11 probably 3 times out of 5, simply because I enjoy this bird so much.Just got to wondering, how many of us FS9 hold-outs are still using this olde girl?Cheers, SLuggy

Gents,I've recently installed Rex for FS9 and am very pleased with it. I am however a little confused as to what is doing what for my sim as many of these programs have overlapping functions. At the moment first off I'm calling up an airport in the weather section of Rex and it is installing textures based on that weather. Then I fire up Active Sky and then ask Ground Environment to install ground textures based on the weather it is given by Active Sky. Is this right?What about poor old Flight Enviroment? Shall I just uninstall or does it do anything that Rex, GE and Active Sky doesn't?Cheers guys.

Hi All,I Recently got the VRS F-18 for FS9 ( I know, its a bit old) but it is still an excellent aircraft!However, I am having frustrating problems regarding starting up from Cold & Dark, whenever i put the battery on,I cannot do fire tests or put on electronics, I have to switch on the External Power to do this, but when i do this, the APU ACC light comes on, and the fire test doesn't say "Bleed Air Left/ Right", the FIRE lights also don't light up. The LT Test also doesn't workI also cannot start the APU at all, it just sounds like it winds up, then the noise suddenly stops. Hey Folks,i hope there is anybody who can help me to fix the following issue with PMDG's Queen of the skies.After changing my OS to Win7 x64, i installed FS9 and all it's Addons, everything worked fine, until i thought to do a longhaul flight with the 747. Hitting 'alt' at the Keypad to access the taskbar on top of the screen, i might even hit the PMDG Options button, but after doing so, the screen just goes black. No chance of changing fuel or anything else within the PMDG Options. Did anyone had this problem as well, or is it again just me, who does have it? :Thinking:Any suggestions are welcomedRegards, Tom

Hello,Is there any way to add to my aircraft the sound of the speedbrake ? When you open the speedbrake during descend it creates drag and that can be heard and feeled from the cockpit. I have the subject aircraft for FS9 and also have it merged with a Premier Aircraft Design -100 and -300 as well as the Dreamwings Q400. The documentation for the panel is outstanding in every respect except one, the FMC. I know it is not a fully functional FMC, nor is the AIRAC updateable, but there are simple functions on it that don't work for me.Just for example, on the Init Page 1/1 the is a spot to enter your Airport's Pos ID. Click on the LSK for it and I can type in the airport's ICAO, but when I hit enter the screen returns to an empty box where I can again re-enter the ICAO. It never seems to accept my entry.. I belong to a group (German) of online flyers (IFR) of which I take the role of Ground Controller. As in our group there are FS9 and FSX users there is often a conflict between the airport details which can be confusing in the Euroscope map. To this end I try to produce a bgl file for FS9 using the data from FSX. As, to the best of my knowledge there is yet no way of converting FSX bgl's to FS9 bgl's I do this by hand. Using 2 monitors and the two programms AFX and ADE to transfer the airport details from FSX to FS9 and then save the FS9 bgl. I then convert this data bgl to the relevant files necessary for Euroscope using the programm bgl2sct. While this conversion is suc…

Hi guys,After some consideration I'm transferring my FS9 installation to Win XP 64 (but without doing a full reinstall) and I need a few questions answered regarding the registry:1) Are all of the registry keys for FS9 addons located in "HKLM / Software" ?2) Are there any other registry keys of interest in "HKLM / Software / Microsoft" apart from the FS9 keys?3) Do I chuck all of my FS9 addon keys from my old OS to the "HKLM / Software / Wow6432Node" folder as they are 32-bit keys? :(
