I am looking into the Reality XP GNS530, if anyone has input into what is and what is not modeled. I fly a lot of smaller commuter props and I am looking for a good GPS instead of the default 500.

I downloaded the base pack and program for AES for FS9. Tried it, and wish now to uninstall it. I can't seem to find an uninstall for this program. Can somebody point me out to how to uninstall this program?!?Thanks,

I migrated to iMac 27 3.2ghz back in November and I'm really missing my FS9! Does anyone have experience using it as I describe in the title? This is what I would like to do, but I'm worried about F.P.S. and also about any possible overheating problems. Thanks for any tips/advice!

Hi everyone,Recently, I downloaded the marvelous Abu Dhabi scenery by Matthew Ministry available on the file library under the file name "auh-omaa-abudhabi-fs9.zip". The only problem that I have encountered with this scenery is the fact that my aircraft always bounces during taxi and take off. I have tried disabling the scenery but it seems the default airport also has the same problem. Any idea what may be causing this?Aside from Abu Dhabi, I think the default Changi also has the same issue wherein aircraft bounce around as if on grass. Any help would be appreciated!Best regards :)

Does anyone know if this airport has an ILS on RWY04? According to Navigraph it does (108.3), but my FSNav doesn't display it after rebuilding the database, and my aircraft can't receive it? The only support they have is on Facebook, and I'm not cool enough to be a Facebooker! :Nerd:Cheers, SLuggy

Thoroughly enjoying the ATR again - far enough away from a "same old" Boeing to be challenging without requiring a night of manual reading, with lots of little details - and those turbo engine sounds on reverse are just too good.Trying the demo of Garys EGLC I got caught out after being given the landing runway - RC said 27 but only 09 shows in the ATR FMS. FSCommander shows 10 and 28.I opened the ATR airports database and it shows both 09 and 27 for EGLC - but only 09 in the FMS.The FSC database is new and clean of old files, Makerways is newly run, and I have the latest AIrac in everything, if that makes any difference.So which is right - 09 and 27 or 10 and 28, and …

Hello allDoes anyone have the above gauge installed in FS9? I downloaded it today at the Flight 1 site and followed the instructions to the letter. My problem is that the gauge does not show up in the aircraft but when I checked with my FSPanel app it's their but not when I open up FS9. :Confused:Any advice would be very much appreciated. Just thought I would post this as an example of how problems in FS9 are not always what they first appear. Hopefully it will help others in future.I recently downloaded FSDreamTeam KLAX. Ran the installer and went to KLAX to have a look. I lasted less than a minute before I got the Crash to Desktop. I had already disabled the previous AFCAD I was using for the default KLAX so I knew that wasnt the problem. I uninstalled KLAX and reactivated the old AFCAD. Went to the same location at the same time...and CTD with default scenery. I now suspected an AI texture, and turning off the AI aircraft confirmed the fact.So with AI switched on again I went to various locations at KLA…

Hi allFor a few weeks now I have only been able to run FSRecorder successfully a few times. I can record it seems, but when I try to play the recording by clicking on the recorded file I get this error message "invalid aircraft ID! recording/ playback will stop now! and the screen freezes so I have to ctrl alt del to get out. I am running the latest version 2.01 in FS9.1 Can anyone help please?John

I was searching through the forums and the library as I was interested in a basic GPU for all aircraft. Does anyone know if one has been created? I am aware of the infinite battery ability but it seems almost unrealistic.Thanks,

Lost my 2D virtual views? This effects all my addon 2D panels with virtual views. Example, 182 with 2D panel forward, but no side virtual views. Virtual panel views ok. This has happened one other time when Microsoft still supported FS9. I can't remember what the correction was. I think they used the FS9 disk to repair. I do know that the menu bar views can't correct it. I had to have hit a Key or key's that caused this. I'd hate to reload FS9 totally to get the views back.Any help would be appriciatedTBenn

Yesterday I was flying with heavy AI traffic. I was at the runway holding point when an aircraft was taking off. Sitting in the cockpit (2D panel view), I heard nothing... When the same thing happens in real life, you can hear the other aircraft taking off, even from inside the cabin.Looking deeper into this, I realized that I never hear any AI traffic sound from the cockpit (and I hear light sounds when in SPOT view). Did I miss something in the fs9 configuration? Should I update the AI sound with sounds I can download here?Any help is welcome.Eric

I know this may sound lame at first but, hear me out.I installed FS9 in Dec; Was a Christmas present. (Was runinng Windows7 x32 Ultimate OS with original fs9 install, now running Windows7 64 Ultimate OS) Put it on a separate hard drive. Never did any gaming before and I got after loading third party add ons without really knowing what was good and what wasn't. One thing I learned was that with some aftermarket add ons they were self extracting, to what "they" had programed as a default file path. Usually C:\Microsoft Games\fs9 or something similar. Often I would have to go back and clean up move files, folders, etc. PMDG apps comes to mind; some scenery/airport programs. …

Evening AvsimI have Overland and Project Airbus aircraft, i have for my A32X (A318,319,320- PA and A321 Overland) planes using a panel which has a button to view the fuselage graphic and you can click two areas for front and rear doors and then the cargo doors button, but quite a few of these buttons are not resulting in doors opening...does anyone have experience with settings and how to fix this?Then regarding wingviews, i have two wingviews for each side of my aircraft, i wish to set numpad keys "1 & 3 to view left and right engine views and then 4 & 6 to view on the wing. Well, I've given in over my views of the Flight 1 wrapper system and the complexity of the iFly B737 and have bought it. So you'd all better stay out of the skies whilst I'm doing my training!!Is FS2Crew worth having for it and is it compatable with Windows 7 32 bit? I have done some conversion work on EBBR (Brussels) using the FSX stock airport as base and then converting with FSX2FS9 to a FS9 bgl. In the conversion pocess I excluded Library Objects, Taxi signs and windsocks. When I open FS9 I see that some parking places are covered with buildings. Is there anyway I can reposition these buildings. I realize that I can reposition the parkings but that is not the object of this exersize. I do this conversion as I act as Ground Control with a mixed (FSX and FS9) group of German online flyers and it is a distinct advantage, also in Euroscope,to have both sims display the same (or nearly) airport layouts.

Hi, I was checking out the Wilco's website and they do not support Vista 64bit for the Airbus vol. 1 evolution. Anyone have luck running it with Vista 64bit? I run my FS2004 as Admin as my add-ons.Thanks,Greg

Gents, I posted this under FSX Utilities but it is for both FS9 and FSX. In fact, I use it with FS9 the most. I think the screen shots should give you a pretty good idea of what the app does.The syntax reports I've included (in this release) are the ones that I use the most but if you can think of others that could make working with our scenery files eaiser, then please feel free to suggest them. The app is modular so as long as I get the time, they're not that difficult to produce.Also, the app is a bit light on the documentation side as I assume it will be easy to use once you get comfortable with it. I have FS9 loaded on my machine and have a copy of FSX arriving probably Friday because I want to play with it also.My FS9 runs smooth no real problems with it.I had planned on buying the Eaglesoft FSX version of the CitationX 2.0 but now been thinking maybe I should buy it for FS9 instead.Is there anyone here running the Citation v2 on FS9?Does anyone know what the differences between the two versions are?Does the FS9 version look as good as the FSX one? Hi.Well thought I'll ask one more qusting regarding to iFly 737NG. Thing is that it seems to have really poor thrust. At FL300 i cant go past .778 mach and fuel flow is maxed (as maxed as it can be at this altitude - FF4.41). Because of this also climb is crippled. Would really love to know why is it like that.Thanks.

I finally got around to flying around the Canary Islands. I installed Project Canarias 2005 scenery and after flying to several islands I settled in at Tenerife south GCTS. Unfortunately most of the airport buildings have no textures (completely white). Anyone know what I could have done wrong or where I can locate the textures?Thanks for your help!Airbus
