When running FS9 in windowed mode I get a very strange graphics problem. The menu bar at the top of the screen flickers a lot, then after a while (normally about when I reach cruise part of the flight) the menu starts repeating itself all the way down the screen! TO explain what I mean all of a sudden a row below the menu appears that is identical to the menu bar. Then another below that, then another and so on until after a few seconds the whole screen is full of text!At this point I have to exit FS9.This doesn't happen in full-screen mode but I don't like using full-screen because it makes the sim "hang" too much when changing menus and views and makes anything connecte…

Who makes the best Tupolev Tu-154? Vitamin or Project Tupolev? I see a lot of paints for the Vitamin model, but is hat better than the Project Tupolev model?

I am amazed by the file size of the software, I wonder how far it can take fs9ers to a new level of simming. I have read some of its reviews and it sounds not bad at all. I'd like to know more from users' point of views... and is earth curvature also covered by FS Global? (I know it is impossible fs2004 can be modified to depict the curvature, but i think it's fair to expect that much since FSGlobal has huge amount of file).Thank Youregards

Hi I am having problems installing Edit voice pack. When I run "update voicepack" it starts to update then I keep getting Error message "Cannot create a file when that file already exists" Before I tried to install the program there were no other versions installed. Any help would be most welcome

First of all, for those using the Mindstar G1000, how do you like it? Does it represent the real world unit well? Is it supported by Navigraph updates?Secondly, I have the flight 1 cessna 172, which I really like. I'd like to add a G1000 to it, if possible. Has anyone been able to successfully add the Mindstar G1000 to both the 2D and VC panels. If so, could you please share the steps to do it?Thanks!Todd

Hello. I write a program that communicate with WideClient, I use FSUIPC SDK in C++. WideServer and FS2004 is running on another PC. WideClient is connected to WideServer normally, but when I run my program on client PC, there is an error "FSUIPC_ERR_RUNNING 14 // Maybe running on WideClient, but FS not running on Server, or wrong FSUIPC". I recently purchased the Aerosoft EDNY Friederichshafen scenery. One of the features of the scenery is the EADS faciltity which operates modern Zeppelins. There is a very nice static airship in the scenery, but I recently discovered an excellent AI version. You can either create a set of traditional AI flightplans for them or you can use it in Flight1 Helitraffic. Hi. I have installed a new airport (UHMA - uhma_v2.zip, from AVSIM.ru) and some AI a/c there produce great clouds of white smoke as they taxi - King Air 350s do but Cessnas don't. I have seen this effect occasionally on pushback, but never quite like this - unless you angle your viewpoint well away from the AI a/c, the screen is totally white. Screenshot below of receding aircraft (nice torbado effect!).Is this a problem with the aiport (then why only some AI a/c?), or the AI a/c (then why have I never seen it before with King Air 350s?).Thanks,Martin

Doing KEWR-LLBG right now and have had a 160kt tailwind pushing me along out over Connecticut, Boston, Halifax and up towards my NAT crossing. Just did Newark to Halifax in 55 minutes with departure and climbout!!! Just looked down to see almost 670kts on the GS indicator... If you are doing a transatlantic expect it to be quick eastbound and VERY long the other way unless you can avoid the jetstream!-P

Good day,Using Flight simulator 2004 i recently had a problem with the panel of one of my planes... When i open the gps in the 2d cockpit, i dont see it unless i close the main panel window and than it's there, hiding behind the main window. I can't find a way to put the GPS back " On Top" of the main panel. And it's not only with the GPS , all the other subpanels are doing exactly the same,Any Ideas ?Thanks a lotGuillaume

I don't know where this should go but whatever feature that was in place to make viewing the forums efficient with an IPhone has now been disabled. Now when viewing the forums on an IPhone I find the text small and all but unreadable.Mods please put this in the appropriate forum if this is the wrong location. I'm not sure where trouble tickets go (never put in one before).

Downloaded 4gb patch from http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php after reading some threads on blurries here. It's a minor problem with some slow loading mountain textures on my Asus laptop, which has 10gb memory. After unzipping and trying to open, I get a "cannot open executable file" error message (Win 7 64 bit). Any advice on if this is valuable in helping the old FS9 better utilize memory and how I can open it? Tried re-downloading, etc, with no success.Thanks for any ideas!Roy

i have had a CTD for the second time today im using fspassengers,track ir 5, Radar contact 4,ASE6, when i flew these two flights i my left fuel tank started to drain on both qw 757 and my ifly 737 then it CTD....in windows event viewer it says faulting module ntdll.dll on the 1st time and ATC.DLL on the 2nd.... i have not overclocked my computer but i did do a disk check yesterday... any help would be appreciated :( Also I was able to do AMA-LAS-DEN in between

I am wondering if using 32 bit external textures has any effect at all on performance as viewed from the cockpit? I get it that using high resolution textures for the external model will increase loading times when viewing the aircraft from the outside. Hello all,I downloaded a 737-900 to use with the PSPanels 737 package. After everuthing was unzipped, I put the panel folder into the 739 folder I downloaded, added the gauges to the FS9 gauges folder and all the other procedures, but I still can't see the gauges (like knobs, and levers, etc).Here is a picture:I don't know what went wrong.
