After many, many years of waiting (about 7 years), someone else besides "Cloud 9" had made a NEW airport for KLAX, Los Angeles. FS Dreamteam made the airport and Aerosoft has just made the AES program to go with it. NOW, all of my hubs from KSAN to KSEA have the Aerosoft AES programs and they are GREAT. If you update your KLAX to the new Dreamteam airport and want to also add the new Aerosoft AES that goes with it you must download and install the new BASE AES program (Free from Aerosoft's website). I've been setting up my sim according to Sim Samurai for FS9, it recommends setting AA outisde of FS9. I have an ATI HD6970 video card when I set AA in Catalyst I get a black instrument panel in the default Cessna. Why?

Hi all, i recently purchased Mexsims Acapulco scenery and i'm trying to get hold of the PSS panel mod they supply with it. Suffice to say they aren't answering their support and i've been chasing this for a week now :( If anyone knew where i could get it or if anyone could send it me? That'd be really great.

I install the new NV driver 295.73 on my system FS9 (windowXP SP3/GTX 460 1024MB/Intel core duo 3.33GHz E8600) expecting touse the FPS limiter from NvidiaInspector.The new driver is very stable and my NVInspector setting (see picture) works, except the FPS limiter .In FS9, I set the FPS on unlimited and 29 or 30 in the NVInspector. My real FPS remains max., which means fluctuation between 55-66 FPS.Does it realy works with FS9? Should I change something in the fs9.cfg file?

Hi all. Been flying flight sim for a long time. Really enjoy the work everybody does on all the neat aircrfat you all develop for us. Some of them are quite challenging to fly.I have a small odd problem. Looked around on the forumns, can't find anything on it. Tried all kinds of tricks but nothing seems to work. My "fleet" is several hundred aircraft. The other day, I downloaded a Cheyenne and the Montana Air Chieftan by Fred Choate.The Cheyenne shows up just fine. The Chieftian will not. Aircraft, Select Aircraft, Piper. No Chieftan. J-3 Cub is there, Cheyenee is there, Seneca V is there, but not Chieftan. Any idea why it won't show up? Checked spelling, pla…

If you would enjoy a rural GA airport that is freeware but payware quality, download 5B2 Saratoga Springs by Ed "Geneer" Cox, just recently uploaded. I also recommend you get his equally good KGFL Floyd Bennett field as the two are just a bit over a hundred NM from each other, so they make an ideal GA flight. Both are in upstate New York and are enjoyable in all seasons as it is a beautiful area. ever since last week ive been having a problem with some textures not loading right

Have noticed that for quite a while now there are constant fireworks in downtown Seattle. Does anyone have any ideas as to why they are always there. Can't think of anything I've done to cause it. Thought that was for July fourth and New Years eve only. Thanks in advance.

I normally use FSX on a reasonable specification desktop PC. I needed a cheap general purpose laptop and bought a Toshiba Satellite with Win7 Home Premium, AMD E300 processor (1.3GhX, 488 MHz, 1MB), AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics, 3G RAM and a 500 GB hard drive. Hey everyone,I have searched and searched but cant find anything or a answer about vista liners 737 3/4/500 model wingviews. With a 2D cockpit when I look back with the joystick towards where the wing would be there is no model present no wings no nothing just scenery. Is there any way to get wing views for the vista liners 737 models? All I like to do is change the position of the eye view further back so when I look left or right I see the wing but with vista liners there is no wing at all.....I guess Im wondering if I can add it or not? Hi guys, i just got my new laptop, a HP G6.. However is doesn't have a numberpad, Is there any alternative to using those key features on FS9?I usually use them to look left/right etc.. When in flight, It seems to be a full keyboard just without the seperate numberpad.Hope someone can help me.Thank you. :)

Just a little rant from me. Appreciate repainters helping us all out with some fantastic work for this hobby but it does annoy me when they can't put the right details in the config file. I just downloaded a cargolux repaint for PMDG 747F and FS9 and all model details were wrong. If I was a newcomer to this hobby I would have been stumped but finally realised I needed to change the model from GE to GEF and the sim from 747-400 to 747-400F.Not going to name the culprit but I am now expecting hours of pleasure from my new purchase of the PMDG 747-400F.On a different note just also bought Aerosofts Djerba X, Friedrichshafen and Maastricht all new for FS9FS9 Dying? Hi. I hope somebody may be able to help me. I have been using Active Camera successfully with FS9.1 (plus no-CD patch) for some time. I have now discovered TrackIR, but decided that this was simply much too expensive. And then I discovered the free FaceTrackNoIR which simply uses a webcam to track your face.I have installed the program (version 1.60), but simply cannot get it to work in tandem with FS. If I run it on its own the tracking works fine, but as soon as I start up FS the tracking grinds to a halt. I have been asking for help on FaceTrackNoIR's own forum (I wish the program had a simpler name!), and they seem to be suggesting that there is a conflict between thi…

Just recently bought a new computer and slowly reinstalled all my FS9 products. Last night everything was working fine, so this morning I began to add AI traffic. After adding a few, i booted up FS9 see how busy EGCC was looking, but after loading my flight to 100% the screen went black for 20 seconds then the message "FS9 has stopped working" came up time after time. So i retraced my steps deleting all of my new traffic.bgl's. Then rebooted FS9, and it was working! So I put 2 of my traffic bgls back, and it worked perfectly, but when I added more the same thing happened, black screen, then "FS9 has stopped working".Anybody know whats going on? Hi all,On getting a headache trying to figure out the PMDG MD-11.I decided to revisit an old plane, Flight1's DC-9. More headaches, on starting, i.e Cold start, non stop beeping alarm. Doesn't seem to matter what I get up running , APU Air con nothing short of starting the Engines seem's to clear it.As for starting the engines, that is also hit and miss, more times miss and I usually end up using CTRL-E to fire them up.The next major problem is cabin pressure. cannot make head nor tail of the instructions regarding this control. Hey Everyone,I seached so if this is covered in another topic please redirect me...thanks!I have recently started to fool around and learn how to use AIFP and like it a lot but I cant figure out if there is a way to assign new a/c to existing flight plans. Here is what Im trying and what I have been doing over the years.......I have been using UT and it will let you assign a wide assortment of a/c for one type ie.... for Delta I can add the 727 to the MD88 flight plans and it will divide up the 727 and MD88 so both planes are now flying the MD88 routes, however UT assigns which planes fly what routes I think or I could add the 727,737,757 to the MD88 routes and now all 4 …

So far I have been succesful in removing Windsocks and Taxi signs using ExcBuilder in FS9. My question is:- is it possinle to create multiple xml files eg. ????Taxi.xml, ????windsock.xml and ????Building.xml where only one building is covered by the 'bounding box', not the entire airport, and then combining these xml files into one, and creating a .bgl file from this combined xml. I have the use of XmlSpy, a xml editor but how would I convert this (if succesful) into a bgl

I have been trying to access my account on your site and have repeatedly requested a password reset to no avail. Plus, I have also tried the "submit a ticket" route to no avail as well.
