Dear Simmers, I'm looking to purchase a very good Airbus simulation for fs9. To be honest I wasn't impressed that much with Wilco and even from Air Simmer, the airbus is still way back behind and it has lots of missing features which they still need to be implemented. Hey everyone,i was reading the description for the Glacier Bay Alaska scenery an wondered what exactly does this mean. (Inland water bodies can be made to "freeze over" via an on/off switch) Now im pretty sure it means you can get the water to freeze over but how? When they refer to on/off switch what are they referring to Is it a key on the keyboard? Does the water actually turn into ice? Hi, at some addon airports I get this strange Alpha-effect with 2D-trees. I have tried other tree-.bmps but it doesn´t seem to fix it. Just wondering if anyone else is having this? Here´s an example from KTPA (Reebooted) by FlyTampa: You can actually see some of the parked cars in parking house, through the building (the left palm tree), when the trees are in between.. Using Activesky Evolution when flying into Mexico it's always foggy even though real world weather reports report clear skies and extended visibility. Every other country I fly to has accurate weather, what's the deal with Mexico?

My home airport is Islip (KISP) and right now it is real foggy here so I fired up my REX (I have Rex and Overdrive) and loaded up the real world weather, after everything loaded there was no fog at Islip (there was clouds but the visibility was real good. Even some clear skies). I am not sure why I can not get fog to show in my sim using Rex. The default weather engines makes the fog but not Rex. Any ideas why??

Just rec'd A-320 ( Holiday Airports) ALL files are installed on my PC but.. when I open FS2004 the aircraft do not show up in "selct AC Mfr". Any help??? I'm at my wits end, must not have inititated something. George KPNX

Hello, I am new to FS2004 and this forum. I downloaded the Veneaviones Aero Commander 690B and I love the plane. However I am having a couple of problems with it. For one the Glass Panel will not display anything. All the gauges are blank. I tryed shutting the plane down and restarting but it did not work. I tried boosting all the display settings to the highest possible and still blank. Not sure where to go from here? Can anyone please help me? Also after rotating on take off the plane pitches upward, is this anything more than a trim issue? Thank you all very much for helping me with this matter!

Hi FS2004 fans: Thought I would post a discovery I made which appears to have solved a problem I have had for several months - namely blurry ground textures. The textures near the aircraft have been OK but not far away turn into a complete blurry mess! I tried tweaking all the terrain and texture settings in my FS9.cfg file per recommendations I have found online, to no avail. Yesterday I tried deleting ( actually I hid it by renaming it) my user\application data\Microsoft\FS9 directory (I'm using WindowsXP) and had FS2004 rebuild it on the next restart. This directory includes not just your FS9.cfg file but also index files and a scenery cache directory. On t…

Im trying to search for some water landing airports in FS9 For seaplanes, i found a couple can anyone list a few more?

I have a external hard drive where I keep my FS9 backed up and store files there that I haven't gotten a chance to install yet. While looking through some of the folders I found a folder that had 6 files in it BOG03.bgl, BOG05.bgl, BOG09.bgl, BOG0203.bgl, BOG9001.bgl, and BOGEXCA.bgl. I don't know where these file came from or if they go to a scenery or a plane. Does anyone have a idea what these files are for or what they go with? (the folder was named New Folder, so I guess I saved these files and didn't renamed the folder to say what they were for)

I'm not having any luck, when I search for the Delta repaint for the Flight 1 Super 80 N908DL I keep finding it for FSX. In the readme it says it was converted over by permission from Jeff Trozzo's FS9 version which can be found here: http://www.fs-gs.com/repaints/repaints.html When I attempt to access that link it cannot find that site anymore. Hey everyone my name is Ian and I am a 21 year old flight sim enthusiast. I played Flight Simulator quite a bit back when I was a teenager but gave it up for school, motocross, and music. I recently got back into it and, despite only having an HP laptop and Logitech joystick to play it with, am having a fantastic time. Hi all, I have a question concerning the FS9 ATC system. I notice that when planes are calling for takeoff clearance especially airliners, they mention the destination to the tower. Ive never heard airline flights do that for takeoff clearance. Is there a way to remove the part that mentions their detestation...for example... Tower, Delta ### ready for take-off to KMIA IFR, Ive head some saying it and some do not. thanks Bill

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I am encountering a little problem with one of my AI planes and AFCAD. The problem is at EGCC, my Monarch A321 seems to always park on Terminal 3. I am using UK2000 EGCC scenery, but this should have no effect as all my other AI planes act normally. I have assigned all the Parking Codes in AFCAD221, so all my MON aircraft should park in Terminal 2. All my other aircraft parked as assigned. I am using the DJC A321 IAE model, and I have no other AI liveries in this model, so I cannot compare. Is there something I am doing wrong in the .CFG file, or is the parking size not correct. Maybe the DJC A321 IAE is not proper…

Hi I've just got a buttkicker for xmas and it works well , but what is missing is the sounds/feel of the nosewheel running over the centreline lights at speed,does anyone know of any fs9 freeware/payware that does this ? regards Jim

Hey guys, I just activated my W&F. I'm able to move around the cockpit by following the key commands but I don't know how to get the "walking" outside to work. I read the instructions but I'm still confused. What I'm trying to do is get an outside view of my aircraft and be able to walk around it or just move around the airport while my plane is still parked. So kinda like being able to do a pre-flight walk around. How can I get this to work? Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm asking a question, not offering a solution. It's about trimming an aircraft, specifically elevator trim to control pitch mode. I'm having a hard time trimming aircraft- both default and payware. It's a lot easier to use the autopilot, but sometimes I want to handfly those babies. I've got the trim commands assigned to two buttons on my controller (Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X) But whenever I use them, the a\c pitches up or down way too steep. I can't get small increments in the pitch. The default assignmenst are to the 7 and 1 on the numerical keypad. I've tried those and htey are way too senstive.
