All, Did anyone ever tweak POSKY's CRJ FDE ? I recall a bunch of posts when it came out mentioning the power settings in the FDE... I recall using it myself and that thing would take off in less distance than any airliner I've ever flown and climb like the space shuttle... I believe someone at POSKY had acknowledged the issue as well... Was any attempt ever made to correct it ? It's a shame because they made a beautiful model... Regards, Scott

Hi All, I noticed recently that the website 'fuel.aerotexas' has sinced changed to 'fuelplanner.com'. For some reason the actual layout of the Planner has been changed a little bit and when you Select your Aircraft, Enter your Departure and Arrival ICAO And Hit Planner, Instead of seeing the "Total Fuel On Board" along with all the others (Reserves etc) I now only see "Trip Fuel" "Reserve Fuel" and "Takeoff Fuel". I am unsure about how much fuel I need to load on my aircraft now, Could someone please help? Thanks Kriss

I'm looking for a good airbus package to use in FS9. Like many, I tried Airsimmer and was disappointed on many fronts (I don't want to reopen another nasty debate on this). I've been going back and forth on buying the Wilco Airbus Evolution and merging with Project Airbus, plus maybe adding TSS sounds. Has anyone done this and does it make for a nice, enjoyable Airbus package? Any other recommendations? Todd

I have just installed the FS9 version of Handley Page 42 by Derek Palmer with the HP42 panel by Saverio Maurri. The panel is for FS2002 but works okay except for the autopilot. I have searched the web but cannot find any contact info for Saverio Maurri. Does anybody know if he made an ugrade to the HP42 for FS9? Many thanks, David

Hi Everyone! I am new to flying the 707 (Captain Sim) in FS2004 and I would appreciate some help on Fuel planning!. As you know there isn't much information out there on the 707 and I cant use Fuelplanner.com because they don't have values for the 707. So basically I need someone to help me find a method of how to calculate how much fuel I need for my journeys in this plane. Help is Appreciated! Kriss

Just finished a flight on FS9 and went to start another....as soon as I hit the FS9 icon I got this error msg "fs9.exe entry point could not be located in the DLL OLEACC.dll" I checked and I do have that file in the FS9 folder. Also did a wide spectrum search on the web for the same, but nothing specific to fs9. Please don't say a virus :( Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Neil -irish3

Hey! I have a problem at SBRJ Rio de Janeiro. My AI aicraft B737 and Airbus 319, maybe some other as well, don't take off before the end of the runway. How can I solve this problem? Is there a special air-file or something which makes them rotate earlier? OK, there is no crash, but it simply isn't nice to see the aircraft running till an end in the water before they rotate.... Does anybody know a solution? Greetz Jive1

Hi there, some years ago I've purchased all the georender sceneries (Rangers creek, Flying M, Darringtin, Forks, Strom, Sultan, Orcas Island and so) on simmarket and enjoyed it very much. Then there came FSX with all it's new possibilitys and it's squirks. Today I like to go back to the good old stuff and it's very special and detailled touch. I bought the Georender Scenery Collection and Emma Field on cd. But I'm missing all the other stuff. Simmarket can't provide me the old files, ther're no cds to buy. And I don't want to download the filles illegally. So guys - is there any place or person to provide me with the georender sceneries? I would pay the orign…

Hi Everyone! B) I am new to flying the 707 and So I have a question to ask which hopefully someone will be able to answer. So obviously the 707 has no FMC system its all pure old school navigation. Therefore Calculations had to be done by the Pilots, Not the computers. So for Instance, The FMC can give you the optimum cruising speed for a particular altitude. On the 707 How can you work out your cruising speed for your altitude? It wouldn't be a problem if the cruising speed stayed the same all the time but as you get higher the IAS you fly at becomes less and less (For Example at FL300 you may fly at 320IAS, But at FL360 only around 290-300). Hi folks, I uploaded my first FS9 vid on youtube but for some reason when I watch it on youtube, there is screen tearing. I used FSRecorder, Fraps and Windows Movie Maker. There is no screen tearing issue on my Fraps captures and the final video after editing on WMM. I don't understand why it's showing up on youtube. The final vid is running at 24fps which is also my Fraps setting. I never had this problem with making FSX movies. Anybody have an idea? Here's the vid if anybody wants to see... If you don't see any tearing, please let me know. I'm hoping it's just my browser (Firefox).

Hi all I've been posting on countless fourms about my problem but know one has any idea! By looking through the Avsim fourm it looks like that this is the best place to be! I have been using both FS9 and FSX. As most people will understand I get a better performance with FS9 and have more addons, so prefer to use FS9 The problem starts when I Undock the screen by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Enter When I go to change view or open another program FS9 seems to be stuck behind an image of the last view I was on..... I have tried to reinstall and update FS9 but doesn't seem to work still... Anyone have an ideas? Thanks Pete

I know this may be an old topic but I've searched and searched and can't find any solution to the problem. When flying at high altitudes (typical commercial jets) I see white seams or gaps in ground textures most often at a distance and off to the side. Most of the time they eventually fill in but it takes a good while. Does any know of a fix? I installed FSgenesis buffer mesh hoping to cure the problem but no joy. I posted this earlier, but let me have another try with a slightly different explanation: 1. I am using multiple monitors. In order to move panels to the secondary monitor, I change to windowed mode, undock the panels, move them and then revert to full screen mode. 2. When I revert to full screen mode, some of the panels that I had previously moved to the secondary monitor "jump" back to the primary monitor. 3. This happens in different variations with different panels - some jump back, some don't. This also happens when I use different hardware or a third monitor (so it's software related). I am thinking of purchasing this aircraft as an introduction to flying jets before going for something much more complicated such as the iFly 737. OK, I know that the ERJ is not a "simple" aircraft but I'm hoping it will be a jumping off point for me. Also, it's available for a 50% discount at the moment. Does anyone have any views about this. When I land at night, most of the AI aircraft are all dark. Would be nice if the logo light, cabin lights and wingtip lights remained illuminated. (At least the wingtip lights). Any way to force this with AI aircraft? SGFry KDSM

Hello there everyone. Recently I've been doing routes from CDG to DXB with Emirates 777-300ER. All is well but when on the descent, and about 11000ft when I apply more flaps, the throttle keeps going up and down constantly. For example, I set the A/T speed to be 165 and then it jumps from 168 down to 162. Then back from 162 to 168, constantly->it doesn't maintain the given speed (165). What seems to be the problem? Is this common or? It is irritating that when on final I can hardly maintain the plane steady for the landing. Today I ended up on the end of the runway.. I've been a long-time FSX user but have recently got back into fs9. I never uninstalled it and noticed the .exe sitting lonely on my desktop a little while back and thought I'd give it a run and dust off some of the old aircraft. While the visuals are dated, I really appreciate the smoothness in my level-d 767 and dreamfleet 727, which were my first and second addons I ever purchased (enjoying the nostalgia). I know a lot of you are fs9 users for life, and so I need you help. I'm looking for some real gems to make my fs9 realism and flights come to life. I haven't really used it in over 4 years so I'd like to hear about all the little known freeware/payware addons, mods, …

I have had this problem plaguing me in FS9 for as long as I can remember. Every now and then it will stop loading textures and about 20secs after it will say that its encountered an error and needs to close. I have been told (many moons ago) that it is due to a corrupt texture, which I do believe to be true, it's on an aircraft (I think an AIA 737-300 or 737-500), and when FS tries to load the texture on it (or lightmap) it causes an error and FS9 stops loading all textures (though continues simulating until it gives me the error message). My question is- Is there a way of finding out which texture is corrupt that's causing the error? Is there a programme that wil…

:Shocked: Some times not always when "Looking Down'' or ''Panning'' my entire view is blurred,only by going to Options/Display/Hardware/Global Max Texture which is on Massive,then going down one notch the scenery rectifies itself then going back and max it out again it stays good.
