After installing the Thrustmaster Warthog controllers I can't get my PC to open up. I'm using Windows XP on a Dell XPS system. When I reinstall my Thrustmaster Hotas Cougar system my computer works fine. HELP!

Hi folks FS9 has been serving me great since a good while..... Had a issue today , I usually minimize FS9 to perform other tasks like browsing or editing and so on so forth, today ,while in flight VATSIM got disconnected and didn't reconnect on my repeatedly trying,I minimized FS9 and went onto check my ISPs program which runs my dongle,it had automatically got disconnected , so just simply reconnected it.But , alas , when I tried to get back to FS9 the window just didn't open up and I eventually lost my 4 hour long flight..... Any idea why does this happen? Thanks in advance for solutions!

I just bought some payware scenery and after I installed everything I noticed 2 files in the FS9/Scenery folder. The file names are cuzrwy1.bgl and cuzrwy2.bgl. Does anyone know which scenery these files go to? And were they supposed to go in a specific FS9/Scenery folder? (Like the FS9/Scenery/World/Scenery) Those files are associated with one of the following sceneries (I just don't know which one) UK2000 Lutton Taxi2Gate Monterrey MMMY LatinVFR Montevideo SUMU Latin VFR Cuzco SPZO Aerosoft Stuttgart Tropicalsim Azores 2

When making a repaint of the Project Opensky A330-200 (using the official paintkit available at the Archive), I've noticed a blue line in the top of the fuselage, front section, between the first two antennas: The texture file for the area in question looks like this: Does anybody know how can I fix it? I don't recall seeing this line in other repaints. PS: I've just noticed somehow the FS Repaint demo disables the Print Screen key. Had to enter FS just for the screenshot. Hello, I'm trying to paint some Vueling planes for the SMS/Overland A319 and A320. The only thing is that I'm not happy with the result. So here is my question: Would somebody like to paint a few Vueling planes for the SMS/Overland Airbus A319 and Airbus A320?Is it also possible to add "dirt" on the planes? Hello im Darren and I have only just joined AVSIM. Im having a few problems while flying the PMDG 747 Queen of the skies. When landing with the autobrakes set, I cannot always get the reversers to work, sometimes they come on while finger is pressed on the button but soon as I let go they go off, also the autobrakes reset to disarm even though the plane is still hurtling along the runway at high speed..................... Secondly and again not always, when I have managed to slow the aircraft down I turn the plane off the runway using the rudder , when the rudder and nose wheel locks into the opposite position?? Version 1.7 of this weather program was released yesterday and now supports FS2004. After downloading and trying the evaluation program I have ended up purchasing. First impressions are positive, obviously, however much testing remains before I will say whether it surpasses AS 6.5 let alone anything else. :rolleyes:

I merged successfully PSS 777-300 with Posky model. Everything works beautifully, however I have one small problem. I guess the front wheel of the plane slips while in turn therefore when taking off and landing, its hard to keep the plane on the centrer line. The plane slips when i use the rudder left and right. I thing its something wrong with my aircraft.cfg. Did anyone notice this? Thank you Nikita

Some of you may be familiar with the excellent FS Earth by Luciano Napolitano. I've had it for several years but recently it's causing FS9 to pause briefly each time the aircraft's position is updated in Google Earth via the FS Earth Link executable. I've posted the problem on Luciano's forum but the only advice he can offer is to turn off anti-virus especially Avast. I've done that and also disabled the firewall but the problem remains and makes FS Earth all but unusable. It's doing it via wired and wireless connections. The crazy thing is it will run fine with FSEarth on the FS PC and only causes problems across a network. I'm sharing the correct folder with…

I read the short artical on the Avsim forum about OPUSFSX (and maybe FS2004) but I do NOT understand just what this program does. I fly both FS2004 and FSX with a 15 month old top of the line computer. I use 3 (three) 26 inch monitors and have a satisfactory 30fps on FS2004 but I need more power (fps) when flying FSX. What would this program do for me? Plesae advise me if you know what this program does. Thanks jerrycwo4

:huh: RADIOCD3.gauge is acting weird. I have it installed on the Cal Classics DC-6 & 7 and it is located on the no_panel and it has a door compartment, very nice touch. When I click on the doorknob it opens up and exposes the CD Player and then the SSD drive goes into a spasm and starts flashing a fast and steady rate and will not stop until I exit the sim. The player work great and plays music just fine but the aircraft views will have heavy micro stutters when I click that knob on the compartment, even without powering on the CD Player. If the CD is installed on a main panel of an another aircraft it will stutter the SSDs x6 in Raid 0, as soon as the aircraft loads…

I have been simming for many years and must admit I dont know the answer to this autoland question. My understanding is that if an aircraft and crew are certified for a Cat II or Cat III autoland, it can be performed at a Cat II or III equipped airport. But is there any restriction on using autoland on a runway that does not have Cat II or III capability...ie just ILS ? Peter

Dear All, I've recently added a new sound pack to my PA 319/320, however unfortunately before and after shutdown, the APU sound is missing. I have found a single file of the apu over the internet (to be used with any fs9 aircraft), however I don't have any idea of how to interact this new sound along with the sound pack. ( as the instructions are in russian) Does anyone out there knows how to sort of install any sounds and also to edit the sound.cfg?! Thanks BUS320

:rolleyes: I am trying to understand the Aircraft config better to get the lights to work better. Wheel well lights do not work even with the default switches installed in the Cal Classics DC-6 and 7s. When I turn on a beacon or strobe the whole VC panel lights up. Does anyone have a clue of how to fix this? I am very good at repairing and making XML files as I do have an understanding of the commands needed. What I need is a Tutorial about aircraft lights and XML creation Thanks for any help. Jon J.

This is highly annoying when I'm flying over water... I'm using REX, the same bug occurs no matter what ocean textures I select. Any suggestions? All FS9 settings are maxed out.

I've had no issues for years after beginning to use Ultimate Traffic for FS9 - customizing it to my liking and importing aircraft, schedules, etc... so this shouldn't be a "newbie" question. Just today, I realized that entire airlines are missing after the traffic.BGL is compiled. I checked traffic density in FS9 which is set to 100%, IFR/VFR traffic, as I normally have it set. Yet, I have entire airlines completely missing. Any ideas?

Hey! I was searching for a scenery for FS9 of Tokelau and its atolls. I did find one for FSX, but not for FS9, and I cannot convert that scenery for FS9. Who can give me a hint where to find such a scenery for FS9? Greetz Jive1

Hey! Since many years I have been collecting sceneries of all countries, and I installed these in my FS9. I can say that I have many beautifull airports and regions in my FS9. That is what I did over almost 10 years. At one time I got from my FS9 the messsage that I could not install any more sceneries because the memory did no longer accept more. That was whel I had somewhat over 2000 sceneries installed. That was the end at that time. Then I started to make different scenery.cfg files, separate ones for each continent, and that was a good solution at that time. I had 8 different scenery.cfg files. Flying from one to another continent however made me stop that flight w…

Just wanted to tell everyone that I got this driver to work....turned out that turning off the Lighting and Shading setting box on the "Display" in FS9 was the culprit.
