Wanted to know if it's actually possible to literally have to ground textures in FS9 be the same as you would see when viewing satellite view on Google Maps or looking at Google Earth?

Hi folks, I have a strange question. I bought the Virtavia He 111, but while the plane looks, sounds and flies well, I have some issues with the ground handling (plane tends to roll at idle power and to go "over the nose" even when applying brakes minimally). Furthermore, there was no manual delivered with the installer. Now I searched for a kind of Virtavia support forum but found none. Does anybody know how to get support? Many thanks, Harald

Hi! I recently installed a new scenery, and now FS9 crashes to desktop after a few seconds every time I try to fire up the sim. Therefore, I can't get to the library to deactivate the faulty scenery. How can I find the scenery library manually, i.e which file is it in? I really don't want to reinstall the whole thing...

Dear Simmers, I would like to ask you whether by any chance you know if AES is now compatable with Aerosoft MA Rome. The scenery has been out quite for a while now, and it's a pity that LIRF is still no activated with AES. Hi all I find myself with this issue after re-installing the most recent version of REXEssential + overdrive. The FS9 splash screen appears and the Prosim modules start but that's it! I have to open the task manager to shut down the splash screen. I read in one post about other programmes active in task manager related to FS9 and there are several listed and I believe this is the cause of this problem. I've tried a system restore and deleted FS9cfg but this makes no difference. I understand there is a patch but this is only for Windows XP. I'm using FS9, Windows 7, Prosim and their Jetstream model 737-800. I'd be grateful for any help as It has jus…

Hi guys just downloaded My traffic 2006 Not to happy with it, It causes textures to disaper in some airports, also On some of my payware planes. If i set it to 50% it causes this, 15% also causes this Uninstalling is not an option i may have to remove it manually and at times causes the simulator to load p really slow. Any ideas? Hi when creating a flight I select my aircraft then when I want to change its call sign I hit the change tab it gives certain options e.g. use call sign instead of Heavy etc; my problem is when I select Speedbird and say 19, even though Speedbird is present on the tab I only get the call 19 the other selections I use e.g Virgin ANA Cathay all come through from the FS2004 but if speedbird is selected it fails to be recognized when FS2004 ATC contacts me, all have been set the same, Can anyone think of a way I can get Speedbird to be called other than a re-install Many Thanks Richard

Hi guys, I normally fly jetliners but recently after taking the default Cessna out for some vfr and sightseeing, I'm beginning to enjoy flying these small props. I'm having a blast flying at 1000ft over cities and enjoying the view. Looking to improve on the default Cessna, I decided to try the Carenado based on all the great things I've heard people say about them in the forums. As I'm new to props, I naturally went for the C172N SkyhawkII. The exterior model, gauges, sound, etc are so much better than the default planes. I haven't flown her yet. Will do it after this post. hello, fs9.cfg in which values should I use to increase the distance of the beam loading of the land?

All my default scenery and most add-on scenery has gone. Scenery from select flights scenarios is still present as are all planes. Any Help anyone? Alan

Can anyone give me a steer towards the WWII versions of the C-47 that formerly were available on the MAAM-SIM site? I have searched several places and can't find them. One package was for D-Day, and the other for All Theaters of the war.

I would like to relocate the "Flight Simulator Files" folder in the "My Documents" folder (Windows XP) to another internal hard drive on same PC where FS9 is located. Can this be done by modifying the FS9.CFG file? Thanks for your help! Airbus

Anyone have an updated AFCAD file for Imagionsim's KLGA that uses both runways. I've shelved this product in favor of Shez's freeware work because only one runway is in operation and the approach plate is broken (everytime I'm cleared to runway 4 I'm vectored to a heading going south and never cleared to turn back north for approach, my flight is subsequently canceled).

Hello, I read somewhere that with the help of FXAA or a ENB file I can increase the look of my FS2004. I'm flying online and so I want to get the best realistic result as possible and not a firework of colours Someone has good settings or recommendations for that? Never used that tools before but want to give it a try. Greets

Defaulted to 8 in FS9.cfg...when I increase to 10 or 12 it will save for that particular flight but does not keep the value indefinitely. Is there some way to save it at 10 permanently? Thanks Rich Perry

Just curious if any one else has tried this package with FS2004? Day and night textures look really good but my level of detail radius is much worse with this package. GePro or Fscene, yes there are blurries after a certain range, but with this package I only have a small radius around the plane that is clear, beyond that - no good.
