Now that I'm starting to do VFR, I was wondering if anyone can list some of the highest quality scenery with large coverage. I just purchased the St. Maarten/St. Bart's/Saba package last night and it's excellent but coverage is minimal because they're small islands. I already have Aerosoft Ibiza and Mallorca which cover entire islands. I'm not restricted to certain regions, though I do enjoy the tropical ones the most. I'm hoping to find something that's nice for sightseeing with spectacular graphics. Can you guys list some of the best of the best payware sceneries? Thanks

I already have airport scenery for Kelowna (CYLW) but now I am looking for mesh, landclass, and any other things that will make the area look better. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have any V_Pilots experienced a constant Crash To Desktop after normal shutdown of your sim after you installed the updated FSUIPC. It never happened before. I ignored it once and twice but its constant. My old version which worked for years was 3.8.1 My sim is FS9 and I installed the FS9 version of the FSUIPC. Everything works fine while simming with nothing noticeable. It only CTD every time i exit with a unknown cause.. I was just wondering if others experienced the same Situation. Cheers,

Hi, I got a strange issue with the Scenery around Boston. Some square miles around KBOS I get white water with strange square blocks. See screenshots. I already tried disabling any related scenery, but whatever I try, nothing works. Do you have any idea what that is and how to solve this issue?

So i installed a texture for to new AA livery, but i cant figure out how to assign it to a flightplan. I would really like to see it at DFW, but i dont know how!.

Ok guys i realized i get the terrain.dll error when im stuck at 68% adjusting scenery objects so i went into my settings and brong the autogen sliders all the way down and now the airport loads up any ideas??

This may be a simple question but as they say is better to ask then not ask at all ;-) Here goes... I was fixing some airport sceneries that ive recently downloaded and found some airports had objects with missing textures example some of the FS9 Custom Objects had missing textures as well when i was editing the airports using Ez-scenery. if i were to search the library through the editor i would notice some (not all) objects had missing textures would it be safe to delete these objects directly from the scenery folders to prevent them from causing problems in the future?

Hi All: I have Windows 8 and am trying to transfer Addon Scenery from my old computer to a new one. The scenery file will not appear after I add it in FS2004 Scenery. A file checkmark appears in FS2004 Scenery but no name and no scenery is observed. Any ideas? Also does AES work in Windows 8? Thanks to all Ed Ryan

Some of you may remember a post I made a few months ago about the then new Nvidia 320.18 driver and its effects on FS9. I've confirmed since then with Nvidia that: 1. My issue that I raised at that time with them was replicatable by them in their labs, and it has made it to their formal development-team bug list. 2. It has been issued a "low priority" as its "....a ten-year old game....". 3. The bug still exists in latest 320.49, and "....may not be remedied for a while, if ever...". Ok so I accidentally deleted my cfg file don't know if I have the original but anyways my question is this I need to know how do I make it in the config to where objects such as airplanes as they get farther away become less detailed in mesh and yes this is possible I had it done but I deleted the config accidentally as I was te installing fs9 please help guys anyone with knowledge and it does increase fps by the way also thanks:)

Can anyone give me some feedback on three different payware aircraft that are available for purchase? They all look pretty good but I haven't any information about them other than some customer reviews.. They are: Skysim DC9... All, For year(s) now I've been having an issue with a screen flicker issue each time I get a weather update. I finally figured it was tied to when a update would occur in ASE (or so I thought). Since ASE updates every minutes I would get this flicker each minute. I went around and around with ActiveSky's great ticket system to no avail. I then re-installed ASv6.5 and started to accept the lessor product only because it updates every 30-60 minutes. So this resulted in a lot less flickers. However, I just purchased REX Fs2004 (have had many install issues but that is for another day) and when i tested the REX update, I also got this flicker. Now I've ruled out this …

Hello all. I have the St. Louis International Airport (STL) produced by Taxi2gate. It is without doubt one of the better US airports for Fs9. I was admiring the grass textures as well as other terrain textures they use and how wonderfully clear and realistic they are at altitude. In fact, I actually copied them to a new folder and converted them so I could look closer using Photoshop. I was perplexed to find that all of the, were 1024x1024. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was always under the impression FS9 was restrained to 512x512 texture size. So how is it that Taxi2gate was able to get these beautiful textures to display at 1024x1024? And yet a better question is, …

I have had Ultimate Water Advance for a long time now and everything worked up until now. Tonight I changed sky textures with REX, then I was going to re install the Ultimate Water textures but when I went to install them it said my main FS9 folder was not found in the windows registry. I can not point the installer to my main FS9 folder because the box is greyed out. Any ideas what is going on? I haven't had any problems with this before. Just a little update. I downloaded and ran Flight1's FS Registry repair tool, but that didn't help.

LatinVFR have done a nice job with their V2 upgrade of KMIA. I was a little perplexed however to note many terminals lacked airbridges and accordingly KMIA was looking naked. Their forum provided a temporary solution until Oliver supports this new version under AES. The solution ... Position KMIA (and related files) ABOVE AES in the scenery.cfg. Voila, airbridges back. Id like to get this aircraft for fs2004 can someone tell me what type of aircraft is this and is it available for fs2004? It kinda looks like the C-130 but slightly newer
