I'm looking for a well modelled Vulcan bomber with a decent virtual cockpit, systems not so important. Any reccomendations if any at all exist?

So, I just installed FS9 and the update 9.1 My system is Q6600 clocked at 3.4 GHZ with 4gb of RAM and a 8800GT 512MB. I have used nvidia inspector to set the AA etc..... Will this run everything ok? My questions are:- 1.) Whats the best way to start installing addons? 2.) I need weather program, ground class, traffic, a 737 aircraft, and a small GA aircraft (the two best please?) 3.) Anything else I'm missing? I remember years ago I used to have loads of programs running! Cheers Ian

My FS9 seems to lose time over the course of a flight. I set the sim time to my computers time and after an hour and a half, the in game time is about 15 minutes behind real time. What's going on here?

I've been away from my FS9 program for quite a few years. Since last time, I now have a Win 8 computer. I installed FS9 on it and it appears ok. However, I had the Dreamfleet PA28, BE36, and BE58, Piper Meridian along with the Reality XP panels, and I still have the registration codes, etc. I checked the Dreamfleet web site, and if I'm reading correctly, those aircraft are only for Win XP or less. Is this correct? I am not a computer guy at all and need easy installation if those aircraft are possible still. Anyone know about this issue? If those aircraft are no longer usable, what would be a good aircraft with smooth, fluid gauges (2D is fine), and maybe some…

I've installed this separately from UT so i know its not part of UT, I've had it installed for quite a long time already Im now just realizing that there is a few conflicts with some default airports as to where these streams cut through the airport base and id like to remove them but don't recall were i got these from. I ran into them a couple of days ago while searching for some freeware stuff but dint bother writing the name down (i think it was something like 3d Streams or rivers) been searching for about 45 min and cant find them anywhere its one of those things. I currently have FSCene for the US and i guess it looks ok, Ive noticed it doesn't look so good in the Philippines and would like to know if theirs a good set of terrain reeware textures for the entire Philippine area

For as long as ive been flying ive gotten use to flying without jet ways in certain airports, i also have a large amount of payware airports that has jet ways but unfortunately not at every gate, Id like to know if theirs a way to add jet ways to those airports that are missing them using Airport design editor,AFX,Or Airport Studio. I know FSX allows you to move jet ways around but my concern is adding jet ways not moving them. If the above mentioned Utilities does not allow u to add jet ways is there another way besides manually adding them with Instant scenery or scenery?

I live in Mumbai and MUM has a crossing rwy RWY 32-14 RWY 9-27 So my house is under the approach of RWY 32 but i can also see RWY 27 Approaches... R32-14 are secondary Rwys and Used less often..... but as soon as the wind direction changes planes arrive and depart from RWY 32-16 but it lasts only for 1-2 hrs each day and soon changes to RWY 27-9 So I was wondering if FS2004 Can too do this without actually resetting the flight like i.e even if i change wind dir. from 090* to 320* the atc still instructs ai 's to go to RWY 27/9.. Is there a way ATC can change the rwy operations without ressetiing the flight;):D:D plz help is req coz without it FS seems unrealis…

Not the Project Tupolev 154B (which I have,and for which I did some beta testing many years ago), but one which has an air file called 154b-2v7.air. It's from tu154b2v.zip. (I don't always have the patience to start up the PT model and this is a quicker option!). The problem is I can hardly turn it on the ground. Even at a snail's pace, the aircraft has a huge turn circle and getting to a gate without slewing is a near impossibility. The aircraft.cfg [Contact Points] section looks fine and I have experimented with different turning angles for the nosewheel, but it hardly helps. A relative newby and I admit to a lack of experience, but not stupidity. Continuing problem loading aircraft. Download aircraft, try hard to follow directions placing aircraft and its associated components in the folders as instructed, but 99% of the time the aircraft never show up as a choice. Obviously I'm missing something, but I do not know what it is. Appreciate some direction. Thnak you.

I picked up this payware cheapie from Sim Market, on implulse. From the Readme: What are the system requirements? In order for this software to run properly • .Net 4.0 framework must be installed • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 • FSUIPC 3.7 or above The application was developed and tested on Windows 7 platform (it might work on other Windows). I run WIN XP and FYI: it does not work. I should have checked I know, but it was only 8 Euro. How come someone develops for FS9 on a WIN7 - only platform?? The software is 10 years old!

There may be a topic already opened on the matter, but as it will take some time for me to dig it up, I hope it would be fine to put it (again) on the table. So, anyone of you using Global AI? Hi captains i have strange problem with wilco airbus vol.1 (a320) evo . here is the problems (Bugs): 1.The plane is shaking at the parking position i don't know why? 2.When i am flying the FD is going to left and right and the plane is shaking like the turbulence 3.Whet parking brake is set the plane is moving slowly?? Hi all, after purchasing two new aircraft addons for FS9 is was really flashed how highly detailed the exterior models and VC's are. I hope this will make sense. When I fly at evening times I can't switch the night lighting on in the VC of my Ifly 737 and my pmdg 744 until it reaches exactly 6pm local time in the simulator. Sometimes it's already dark enough to warrant having the panel lighting on before this time but switching the switches to do so doesn't do anything unless the sim time is late enough. I can always turn dome lighting on In both aircraft at any time but ambient panel lighting - no. Same deal with taxi and landing lights. I think it coincides with the switching on of runway and approach lights at airports. Is there a fix or a way around this?

Hi All, I'm giving serious thought to completely updating my FS2004 scenery to achieve a more realistic/accurate geographical look. At the moment I use FS Global (Special Edition); FS Scene textures; Picnic grass textures; and some freeware water textures that I can't remember the names of. My problem - if you can call it a 'problem' - is that it's been years since I did any updating in this department. There's a bewildering range of new textures, meshes and other stuff out there that I've had no experience of, both payware and freeware. Sometimes I'm getting nostalgic and I want to reistall FS2004 and enjoy it all maxed out with my pc. I searched on the forum but not found anything in particular, so I was looking for a "how-to" guide for a smart and optimal installation, something like Word Not Allowed's guide for FSX. In any post, the letters FSX will be automatically hyperlinked to a promotion of that sim. Why is this not the case for FS9? There are quite a lot of addons available for both FS9/FSX. <--- See what I mean? I don't think it always was like this, it feels fairly recent. In the interest of balance. I believe FS9/FS2004 - even if it is venerable - still deserves this kind of attention. Now this is not meant as the start of a thread discussing the relative merits of one or the other sim. This airport scenery in my mind ticks all the boxes for a state of the art FS9.5: I always look for the base texture first, if that's good, chances are the rest will follow Then you start looking at the buildings... in this case made with Google Sketchp! hi guys, to start I have been flying in flight simulator for many years, I've had the odd problem and have also been faced with a few reinstallations of the game over the years which is a pain. so my problem may be a simple fix (I hope), I usually fly the ifly 737, and have done so for some time but recently a problem has emerged while climbing I have no problems but its when I reach 30,000ft my problems start the aircraft seems to hold a 10 degree pitch up and the speed seems fine usually around 290 300 knots. over 30,000 feet my aircraft can no longer climb and struggles to hold at 31,000 feet ,, the pitch is still 10 degrees even using vertical speed I cant lower the…

So, many years ago, Flight Simulator was my primary means of passing time, before I ended up losing the installation on a computer rebuild and never really bothered to put it back together again... until now. Years ago I did a "10 Squirrels" AI package for NZ, wish I'd had these. 10 bucks buys you a whole lot of frame-friendly EC120 helicopters and airport AFCADs for them all over the world. This didn't interest me as much as the ability to use them directly in my Flight1 helo package! Great stuff, and I hope they do some other rotary AI soon.
